I casually listened to the video, I don't know what i took away.
Exercise increases mitochondria, getting older decreases mitochondria, mitochondria talk to each other, they change shape, if you have a better mood before a blood draw the lab results will look different than if you're feeling bad. (chicken or egg not sussed out), hang out with people you enjoy.

@mballer "Getting older decreases mitochondria" - actually Dr Picard said that this is not the case: highly active individuals maintain much better mitochondrial function into old age.

Why don’t you interview Dr Robert Lustig - the guru on mitochondria dysfunction. He has been fighting the battle against sugar and for helping the mitochondria for decades. He explains all of the areas your guest might be unsure or unaware of. Millions of us are loyal followers because of his intelligence and honesty …and his credentials too. Please interview him. You are an excellent interviewer and I would love to see him and you speak. Thank you

Appreciate you sharing your research but even with my scientific education embedded in my two major health industry careers I do not find this level of detailed research relevant to my 71 years of life. Like several other commentators here I would appreciate more practical information about which actions to take to encourage a healthy mitochondria population/process. I do not need to understand all the intricate mechanisms behind this process. I have so many other activities that require my time to enhance my emotional and spiritual health which contributes to the similar goals in different ways as social human beings.

Fantastic conversation, and I'm thirsting for more! Mitochondrial dysfunction is the ultimate root cause. Now we must learn how to optimize mitochondrial health in this challenging world, from the toxins that physically alters it to the toxic mental/spiritual/ emotional environment we may find ourselves in. Thanks for the interview, please hav Dr Picard on again.

      didn't mention the most basic,
      1. Photoelectric effect.
      2. Blue light.
      3. EMF .
      4. Water
The mitochondria and bones when we exercise worked with piezoelectric energy through the Sun with the free electrons they receive to create energy, purely structured water, and ultraviolet light.
Our joints and collagen in them are activated through the photoelectric effect and through the copper sheets they contain you create collagen with infrared radiation creating heat that enhances our health, our endurance, our energy.

I have fibromyalgia and other illnesses. I’m pretty young. I was seemingly fit, adventurous, and active before the symptoms started showing up. I cannot handle any exercise now. My lab results show high mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. I cannot find an effective treatment. There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that Big T trauma, prolonged stress, and workaholism made me ill. I ruined myself as a young adult without self care and boundaries. Now I have illnesses that force me to slow down. Wish I had listened to my doctors in my early 20s when they said that my personality needed to change because it was slowly making me ill.

      Hop on the Gupta program.
Here’s what is the root cause: childhood trauma -> period of high stress or a traumatic event or illness triggered it -> caused maladaptive neurological wiring to develop that keeps you in a triggered state even when the original source of the distress is gone. This triggered state now shows up as nervous system dysregulation and a bunch of symptoms including pain and fatigue.
This maladaptive neurological wiring is now keeping your amygdala and insula in a state of high alert, which causes a cascade of symptoms down stream of the brain which can include pain and various sensitivities. (Pain is actually an intense fear response on the level of the nervous system).
The way out is doing brain retraining + everything one would do who is having a burnout (diet, supplement, mind body exercises..etc). But the Brian retraining is absolutely key. Without that very few recover.
Gupta program is the best one for this. I know it works because I’ve done it. Came out of a very very deep state of CFS+pain+multiple sensitivities.
That program also contains exercises to integrate personality parts that have contributed to your illness, like a rampant ‘achiever’ part. That’s also part of it.
Mitochondria also recover once the amygdala has calmed down and the body is in sustained parasympathetic response most of the day and night. Even without much help from supplements and other methods the body will naturally recover them once you get your brain and nervous system sorted out.

    • @TheEnergyBlueprint
      @TheEnergyBlueprint  Місяць тому

    17:37 By thinking more?
Does the heart have more mitochondria from constantly beating?
So many questions, when interactive AI human replacements are posted online it will be great.
Is it the mitochondria that produces lactate in muscle?
I've been told this lactate travels to the brain and helps power it, is it the mitochondria in the brain that uses this excess lactate?
I really feel I've been left in the dark here.
Exercise is known to be able to create a better mood, the mechanism is still a mystery here?
What has been done to sus out these things?
I wish I had been left more bread crumbs to work with.
Do nearby mitochondria in other cells help each other out?
If one cell is lacking do nearby cells get recruited to produce energy for others?
What waste products do mitochondria produce and where does it go if it exists?

The brain and heart have a large amount of mitochondria to do all their functions.
When you send the excess energy you produce when you exercise to the muscles, then you deprive the heart and brain of it, resulting in heart disease and strokes as you get older.
That's why I recommend mild aerobic exercise
Learn what it is that affects the mitochondria : photoelectric effect, water, EMFs , and blue light.
