So much of the content online is like fast food for the mind - it exploits our impulses. Videos about gossip or drama get us to click, but after the video is over, we've gained nothing in exchange for our most valuable assets - our time and attention. I want After Skool to be resource that is educational, entertaining and when you leave this video you will feel like you have gained something. Be careful where you focus your attention. If you don't have a plan, you become a part of someone else's plan. Anyways, there's my little rant. I hope you enjoyed this video! Are steps taken to wear paths upon the ground? If so, then our concern is leaving a way for others to follow.
Do you think thoughts to wear a way to think those thoughts again?

      One thought changes perspective too.

@@bigpoppasmurf My only criticism of this line of thinking is that constant physical stress and trauma from disease, or other such things out of your control, can cause cyclical patterns of negative thoughts and behaviors. Can you leverage positive emotions to your benefit? Yes, but under poor conditions you are less likely to engage in such behavior.
I have a chronic illness and a few other permanent conditions that I was either born with or have had thrust upon me. Positive thinking has helped me in many regards, but I find difficulty in maintaining such a mentality since those conditions are cause for consistent and brutal pain and stress. It is more simple if you don’t live with such things, but if you do, and more people do than don’t, then finding this balance is an uphill battle, and quite frankly insurmountable to the average human with what little power and love is available to them.

    1. quit social media for at least 1 month.

    4. Listing to singing bowls while laying on bed.

@@intentionaloutcome9068 Redirecting your thoughts to create a better emotional state is absolutely scientifically relevant, & factually true! Keeping a positive mindset does help promote better health, & there's nothing wrong with that way of being! But this is not what Dispenza claims.
The human brain has no magical ability to cause physiological processes to be more effective than they're going to be without your thinking about them, & definitely not going to affect any malady that has afflicted humankind for hundreds of thousands of years. If that's all it took to reverse Type 1 diabetes, leukemia, bipolar disorder, or any of thousands of other conditions, we'd already know about it; it would just be part of the natural order of things & we wouldn't need Dispenza to tell us. If there was anything legit about "alternative medicine", it would just simply be "medicine".
Anyone who claims that they have some new information that can significantly & quantifiably cure diseases that have been stumping people with actual relevant education & expertise for generations, _MUST_ back their claim up with evidence. Large scale, reproduceable studies. No exceptions! Otherwise, it's pseudoscience & magical thinking.
Dispaneza's claims that we can basically think ourselves well is bullshit on its face & potentially criminal. Remember, he's a chiropractor, who are not doctors & have no legitimate scientific backing. Ever notice they don't 'cure' anyone, & need to keep going back for more 'adjustments'? WOW. I didn’t realize how much negativity I have going on, until you listed emotions & I checked pretty much all of them off.
My stress is through the roof, I feel it & it’s killing me. I took a cortisol test recently & it also reflected how terrible I feel. This was a harsh awakening that I need to change my focus, & how I perceive & process the world.
    Thank you!

I learn so much from this channel! The clever visuals combined with intelligent discussions provide so much food for thought. Im working on trying to increase my own dopamine. I feel it’s been very low for a couple years. There’s no joy in things I used to love doing. Just grey fog. I can still function well enough. The gratitude practise is a big part of my healing. I like watching your videos! And I need practise saying thank you. So I’m saying thank you for sharing your work. 🙏🏻😊

Since I feel what you're talking about, I would like to share some suggestions.
Quit watching / listening any so called "news".
Don't watch any depressing movies, tv shows etc.
Is there anybody near you who needs any kind of help? Some elder whom you can bring groceries? Help them.
Pay attention to people you usually don't notice and be kind to them... clerks, sellers, cleaners etc.
Integrate at least some kind of physical activity every day, or /and walk.
Do at least 5min (increase as you get used) meditation every day.
Pay attention to what kind of food you're eating.
I wish you all the best!

When I first started watching videos of this kind I couldn't understand anything, but my intuition told me to keep going, study more and investigate myself and my feelings. I was suffering so much! It didn't take me three weeks like the video said, it actually took me three years (until now) to fully grasp the idea of how my body works and how my thinking affects my Inner state. Thank you for these videos and i hope everyone finds more peace in their life ❤
