Great video, awesome colour, that blue really pops.
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Yeah that blue is nice.
Why not pair up the sensors before fitting its a whole lot easier
Great comment. Should have tried it.
Did it require any mod to the cables?
Sorry for the late reply. Nope. We needed to clip some zip ties. I think if you go higher, you'd need to tweak cable lengths.
Im on my 2nd brand new C14, i also just bought a Honda Goldwing
Nice. Both are great bikes.
I had this chinese piece of shit. Not good at all.
Love the “Let’s go Brandon” shirt.
Thanks! :)
I bought 2012 with 6k miles on it less than a month ago for 4.5k. Need to find highway pegs for it.
Nice. That's a sweet bike.
I’d love to own one of these so bad. I had an FJR and sold it. Bad timing in life. I should’ve been patient and held off for one of these.
Thanks for the comment. These come up once in a while on Craigslist and Marketplace.
Would love to go with yous on your next trip!!!
Thanks for watchin! The trips are a blast. Great group of guys.
Nice job change the out the handlebars. It looks great guys.
Thanks. It took us forever.
Nice
Glad you enjoyed it!
Honda speakers are garbage
I did a J&M Speaker upgrade and they actually work really well. Thanks for watching!
What happens when you apply both brakes? Also, is this something you have to enable in the menu or is it already set in default for both ɓrakes to work at the same time?
Hello, Not exactly sure how the brakes balance each other when both brakes are applied if that's what your wondering. You can apply both and they work really well for a lack of better description. I would imagine a dealer could give you a better answer. I don't think you need to enable this in the menu selection but not exactly sure. I think it's a default. You could try searching for videos about this type of braking... Thanks for watching!
The brakes are mechanically linked there is no electronic menu adjustment. It's not a BMW so obviously you save a ton of money and weight not adding all the electronic nanny's. But the system is rather seamless and intuitive. I ride mine like a sport bike and I trail brake all the time. The linked brake system does not interfere with trail braking. Even aggressive last minute trail braking like on a track. I've had mine over far enough to scrape a knee braking hard in corners stable as a train on rails and smooth as glass. This bike rocks! Think ZX - 14R with comfy seating or FAT ZX - 10R without the uncomfortable seating position. You could take it too a track one day and ride across the country the next!
To answer your question more specifically on using both brakes at once. If you applied both brakes you'll just stop that much faster. This bike, though it handles extremely well is very heavy 620lbs. She hides her weight well as you wouldn't know it unless you were trying to push her or back her up a hill? The linked brakes are designed to be smooth and unnoticed if you apply only the front brake, like say in a corner. The rear brake will automatically be applied ever so lightly as to be almost imperceptible. If you are an old Harley or cruiser rider and only use your rear brake the front brake will be gently applied but not enough to upset the balance. My favorite way to stop is to tap down on my rear then apply more aggressive force to the front while gently releasing the rear this causes the bike to apply both breaks simultaneously with the strongest and most progressive stopping power. You can actually throw yourself over the bars if you're not careful. Only other bike I've ridden that stops harder is a BMW.
@@Falcon67 Roger that. thanks for the explanation.
Goldwing F6b is a nightmare .
Replacing the filter sure is but the rest of the bike is great!
No a helmet luck but a seat removal luck
Thanks! I wasn't sure
I have a 2012 kawasaki concours 14 abs black 30 thousands of miles
Nice!
Just picked up a 2021 concourse last week with 3200 miles. Thing is a rocket ship. Best bike I have ever owned. Thanks for this video, it really convinced me to buy this beautiful and fun bike.
Sounds like a great choice, glad you are enjoying it! Nice low miles also
Holy Gods!! I came to the comment section to see if this was a fracking SNL skit! Could it be any more complicated to change your air filter? Why not put it behind the damn timing belt to make it that much harder, honda. I thought changing the filter on my 99 Valkyrie was a pain, but this is crazy! LOL!
LOL. To true 👍
Is the bike still for sale? Price?
No. Sorry. It's a great bike.
This gave me the confidence to change my own, thank you!
Cool. glad it helped!
What size is the oil filter cap you are using.
Hi HannahTeddyRusso, I couldn't find a size on the oil wrench socket. I looked online and it looks like a 64mm size is the one you want. Here's an amazon link if you want to check it out. Metric Allen Wrenches: amzn.to/3EfXiy6
Hello, what luggage rack are you using? great videos by the way!!
Hello, Not sure on the brand. It came with the bike. I think it's the stock rack. I looked online real quick but couldn't find the exact same one. Here's a ebay web link that has some different versions. Some look pretty good. Glad you liked the video. www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Luggage%20Rack%20Honda%20F6b%20Goldwing&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-156598-763386-7&mkcid=2&mkscid=102&keyword=luggage%20rack%20honda%20f6b%20goldwing&crlp=693532473321_&MT_ID=&geo_id=&rlsatarget=kwd-370888020880&adpos=&device=c&mktype=&loc=9195141&poi=&abcId=9392799&cmpgn=21097936937&sitelnk=&adgroupid=157745124697&network=g&matchtype=b&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3bm3BhDJARIsAKnHoVUv4mCJEAL5upvjpphQdqs0PRI7fM4LZ3o48yX2lf07Czyq2e-qqkYaAg-EEALw_wcB
I’ve had mine for six years, I’m 75 years old, five foot Ten and 185 pounds and don’t have a problem with the weight, beautiful bike, I keep thinking it’s time for a change, but I can’t think of anything better. Not let me down yet.
Nice. Sounds like you've had the perfect bike all along.
Just the kind of video I've been looking for! I've been trying to decide between the FJR and the Concours and now I'm leaning more toward the Concours. Thank you!
Yeah. The FJR is a cool bike to but I would rate the Concourse a little higher. Thanks for watching!
Not 90 in 1st just so everyone knows
That does seem a little crazy!
I've had mine to 65..front wheel just skimming off the road. Before shifting to second.
@@Falcon67 Nice. Impressive bike. Sounds like your a great rider.
Get you speed handle for. Those tight spots if you do not know what i am describing google they come in 1/4,3/8,1/2 inch drive speed wrench speed handle
Thanks! That would have worked way better :)
I have installed them on my Heritage, they work GREAT!!
Glad you like them and thanks for watching!
They looks good. Love the bike colors!
I think so too!
What are these 4 black connectors? On 1:44 What are they called? What are the sizes? Or can I have a link?
The 4 black connectors are just spacers that come with the kit. Not sure of the sizes. You could call Wompus Bike Racks and ask them about the detail sizes. There number is 404-405-1550. Thanks for watching!
I have a 1996 royal star I wanted a new radiator after 30 years but they don’t make anymore. So I’m saving for a new Harley it’s gonna be expensive.

Stratoliner...no HD
Great video. I watch it once a year 😄.... My favorite part is always the end, "thats all it takes to change the air filter" haha..
Glad it been so helpful. It's almost like Honda designed the bike around the air filter :)
If you are looking for a sport Turer don't overlook this bike
Very true. An FJR is another nice bike but I'd probably go with the Concours 14.
I bought a 2019 ,great bike,added a t_rex crash cage,comfortable, fast and dependable. 😊
Great comment!! Your right,, they are very dependable
Great review. I'm glad you sat on the bike and showed riding position. I'm looking at one and don't know how I'll fit... I'm 6'2" so I was hoping it would be a good riding position! Thanks.
Thanks for watching. The handlebar risers are a really nice addition for taller people. It's actually a great touring bike and boy is it fast.
Those that work on a 2015 the same way ?
Thanks for sharing. That's great info.
I'll give it a try now. Hopefully my hands are small enough. Very talented youtube video maker. The parallel to the car, back and forth in the video, was brilliant. Post Note - 5 min job. Easy once you see the steps. Thanks
Right on! Glad it was helpful.
I lost reception after putting on slip ons. I have no clue how i could have screwed it up
Wish I could help but I'm not sure how. So far so good with the one I installed.
Thank you for the video you did a great job with details. I wasn't sure about the seat very helpful details.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching
The last key is to remove the seat. Under the seat, among other things, you find a small compartment useful for paperwork, a small toolkit, and emergency cash.
Great info. Thanks for the comment.
Muy buen video y detallado. Gracias por los datos técnicos y el proceso del cambio de aceite 👍
Un placer. ¡Gracias por ver el vídeo! ¡Me encantan las bicicletas Royal Star Tour Deluxe!
Very imfortive, much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching!
thanks BG, I managed to change my bulbs. wearing a headlight helps, I was able to see into the bulb housing to see what I was doing
You're welcome. The headlight is a great idea.
Just picked up an 06 royal star and it needs an oil change. This is super helpful. looks like you are also local to me so maybe see you around.
Gotta love those RS. We've had a few of them over the years and they've all worked out to be great bikes. We've taken them on long 2 wk rides and they worked flawlessly.
Great video, I would imagine a lot of Goldwings, don't get their air filter changed very often with the difficulty of changing out the plastic.
Thanks! I bet your right.
I have had mine for 11 years - you get used to it. I am 5'8 with a 30 inseam. Careful at low speeds and I have to get off to push it but its a great bike.
WOW!! 11yrs. It probably never left you stranded also.
Hi John here how do you like the f6 goldwing looking at a goldwing my self
Hey John, The F6B are great bikes. I've taken my F6B on many two week, 5000 mile trips and it's worked perfectly. Great power also. Sometimes you'll wish it had a sixth speed, but the torque /power curse in every gear is great. If I were to get one, make sure it has a center stand and cruise.
The shaft drive on my 2012 Concours locked up at 80 mph a couple of weeks ago. I skidded for about a block and nearly fell but didn't. The bike is awesome after a full titanium exhaust and ECU flash. I got mine up to 177 on the analog dash.
Wow. Good thing you kept it up and man are they fast bikes!
Looks nice❤
Thanks. We were a little nervous. The Indian brand was about $350 and these were about $35
You guys had fun. Looks really nice.
Thanks!, The bars were only $35 bucks and they look great.
Nice job guys. That looks great.
Thank you! Cheers!
