- Naruto Uzumaki has many different forms. Nine tails cloak, Base, Sage Mode, KCM 1, KCM 2, Sage of Six Paths Sage Mode, Nine Tails version 2 cloak, and many more. Many people claim that Naruto only uses Shadow Clones and Rasengan. So today we are going to talk about the special ability of every single Naruto form.
Starting with Naruto's base form in Naruto part 1 until his final version in the War Arc in Naruto Shippuden.

Then the same guy who was absorbing Amaterasu, lost to fire from toad sage… but the best sage mode user in the series didn’t use any senjutsu, or 6path enhanced senjutsu… pretty dumb if you ask me, considering without the rinnegan sasuke could control senjutsu and match Naruto’s own senjutsu in the war arc, madara even used the rinnegan to absorb senjutsu from harashiama. But somehow the two most advanced characters in the series do worse than a jiraiya cyborg. Like why would they use susanoo nine tails against a guy who can shrink?

Slight correction @9:15 Naruto doesn't actually summon any toads during his fight against Pain. Naruto, Pa toad and the others were reverse summon to the battlefield by Ma toad. JS 🤷🏾♂️

I want to add just a little detail to the 8 tailed form. That’s the only form I know that’s able to use fire nature, as Naruto blew out a massive fire attack while in the asteroid and lit the pebbles on fire.

I wished they made more unique forms for the other tailed beasts insteas of red chakra. The red chakra feels more like a nine tails thing specifically. Like how Gaara had a partial Shukaku form, they could do something like that for the others with different colpur chakra, what partial transformations do you think the others should have?
Am I the only one who think the dynamic of the main team, Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke would have been more interesting if they each had been experts in one of the basic techniques?
Naruto should have been mostly focused on Taijutsu, with some Ninjutsu to help out.
Sasuke should have been mostly focused on Ninjutsu, but with a few Genjutsu and Taijitsu to assist.
And Sakura should have been a Genjutsu expert, but still have some Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, and also still learn healing.
Maybe it's just me that think this would be awesome, but I like that.

Great video, gotta say I disagree that Naruto has a diverse ability set. By the end of the series he can basically do everything, but up until he gets KCM1, all of his abilities were just being able to make clones, punch good, and throw energy balls. The various forms of bijuudama and rasne-shuriken are mechanically identical, they're just stronger variations of the same basic mechanic. The extra limbs seem like a huge deal, but there are so many characters that are just fast enough to keep up. Other than an initial surprise, there's absolutely no different between Naruto punching 20 times a second, and having 10 arms punching 2 times a second. In real life something like that would be wild, but in anime land, more arms/weapons is functionally the same as just being faster.
The summons are legitimately very useful, so that is an actual improvement once he has sage mode. But all the strength/durability stuff is just a bigger number. It doesn't change how he fights mechanically, he's just stronger now. Really think about it, other than just being told the number is bigger, what is the difference between Naruto throwing Pain's summons and him stopping the snake in the Chuunin exams? Mechanically identical, the numbers are just big now.
Once he gets the KCM cloaks he does start to get a ton of useful abilities, but once he gets a surprise in on the bad guys and the fight devolves into throwing orbs and punching anyway. I won't argue that thee abilities aren't super useful and versatile outside of combat, but it's a shonen manga. It's mostly fighting, and it shows, since the entire end of the series was just giving him more and more powerful versions of stuff he can already do. There's a reason the other taijutsu users tend to have interesting trade-offs for their powers and don't just arbitrarily get stronger - it's a boring way to scale power.
Nartuo can throw 10 million rasen-shuriken and destroy the entire world instantly? Cool, he's still just throwing an orb, which isn't mechanically interesting. Compared to all the wild shit sharigan users can do it's a really basic skill set. Same thing with pretty much every relevant character near the end of the series. They all had such diverse and interesting abilities that were countered by the guy they hit just having such a big number their abilities just didn't work. As I'm typing this, most of his 'useful' abilities were just giving other people arbitrary power boosts too.
There's a lot to like about the series (and a lot not to), but I think it's a pretty big reach to say Nartuo doesn't have a boring skill set. All of his abilities really do boil down to some variant of the rasengan/rasen-shuriken, and clones. Everything else just made him better at punching with no mechanically interesting interplay, and eventually just let him make himself and everyone around him really strong with no interesting mechanical interplay.

8:31 I wish we saw Sasuke vs this form of Naruto. Since Orochimaru says four tailed Naruto is weaker but i wanted to see how that version of Sasuke would pull off a W without surpassing Kurama's chakra.

FYI: if someone can sense or see that you are in a genjutsu be it the kotoamatsukame they can break you out of it just like any other genjutsu.

This actually explains why hes related to Ashura. Needing the power of other to complete or defeat an opponent represent him.
That's why Sasuke stated that Shadow clone technique represent the weakness of Naruto since he's too weak to defeat anyone by himself, so he need more people to overwhelm anyone.

One thing that I feel like I'm the only one that noticed is that 4 tails can't move. He just stands there and extend chakra limbs. It's when he gets the bone in 6th tail that he can move. I don't know why ppl don't talk about it. It's pretty neat
His 4 tailed form doesn't move much because of his necklace. The necklace he won from Tsunade was helping restrain the 9 tails everytime his chakra would leak out. I believe six tailed Naruto crushed it during his fight with Pain and immediately afterward started dashing around, showing that it was indeed the necklace that was restraining his movement.
Naruto has a small bag of tricks in terms of active abilities. What Dygo listed here are a lot of passive boosts or buffs to his limited arsenal. As a character, Naruto would have benefited from learning a few more wind jutsus aside from Rasengan and it would have been great to see him use toads creatively since, ya know, he learned under THE TOAD SAGE. It's also pretty glaring that Kishimoto wrote himself into a corner with the shadow clone jutsu training trick. I find it super hard to believe that Jiraya wouldn't have known about the full potential of the kage bunshin.
Seriously, if Naruto had trained using kage bunshin through the 3 year time skip, he would have come back a kage level fighter, with at least 20 more jutsu in his arsenal.
The limited arsenal is very intentional. Part 1 was very fun because he beat his opponents with the same shadow clone jutsu several times in different ways. It's also referenced in how characters like Sasuke is a genius and can know many jutsu. Then the rama brothers, Tobirama is the genius that invented many jutsu and Hashirama is the one trick pony. It all goes back to the theme of talent vs hard work (or I guess creativity?)
Basically Naruto Gets Better Using The Same 2 Moves Then The Nine Tails Makes Him Overall Better And Gives Him The Gum Gum Devil Fruit Power THEN He Actually Turns Really Good In Sage Mode Using Different Techniques And Skills Becoming A Badass And Then Finally Fully Utilizing The Power Of Kurama He Gets Ridiculously Strong, Has Six Paths Powers For A Bit Which Is Basically Broken Sage Mode, And Byron Mode Is All That Times 100 And He Losses It All Except Sage Mode The Best Form
The shinobi in naruto have different power levels and this is reflected in chackra reserves and durability. The average powered shinobi is more durable than the average human and the more durable they are the lest effect elementary based jutsu have on them. So a jutsu like the rasengan is very good to have as it not only inflict physical damage but also damages the victims chakra network, thus reducing durability.
Naruto never summoned gamaken gamahiro fukasaku and shima. He WAS summoned by shima with all the other toads

Naruto did not summon Gamabunta with Kurama's chakra. He used his own via mental amplification. It is shown he does not call upon Kurama's chakra against Gaara until after Gamabunta was already summoned.
Flapping Chidori is the most apt name for the Cursed Seal of Heaven variant.
Naruto did not summon the Shuriken against Sasori. He unsealed it from a scroll he had on hand, which is an entirely different jutsu.
Sha no Sho does actually say the Rasengan used against Itachi requires Kurama's input, just not much. It is part of Naruto's training to being able to handle up to three tails before losing control.
Technically the Rasenshuriken is no longer a Rasengan variant but rather its own distinct jutsu, since the Wind Release Rasengan is its own jutsu he developed in training.
The two and three-tailed Version 1 have a more explosive shockwave-like attack that Naruto can use, which is noteworthy.
Naruto is not the one who summoned the toads against Pain. They were actually summoned by Shima.
Naruto could already catch blades in base with the proper timing as shown against Karui.
Six Paths Chibaku Tensei is not actually granted by Sage of Six Paths Mode. It is granted by the Yang Power Seal which is lost after Kaguya is dealt with, and he maintains the form. He gained both at once.

You assume the super tailed beast rasenshuriken was more powerful than the six paths massive rasenshuriken. He literally used the most powerful jutsu he had at the moment

There is really more stuff than just rasengan. But 90% of them feels like amps, not new jutsu. Bigger rasengan, smaller rasengan. 1 rasengan or 10 of them. And so on. And half of that remaining 10% are 1-time use things, that he can't or don't use anymore for whatever reason.

I always thought that the fact that Sasuke can rival Naruto's 6 paths sage mode + Kurama's chakra was simply ridiculous. I know that Naruto had no intention of killing Sasuke at any time, but it doesn't make sense.

Part of the reason it worked out this way is kishimoto rushing and throwing away a realistic fight.
The other part is the power of the sharigan. For example itachi was keeping up just fine with kcm 1 in taijutsu because his eyes were that strong, this paralleled the 1st valley end fight. Then Bee pushed itachi back in taijutsue no chakra cloak.
This basically showed at a certin skill lv, super strengh/speed is no longer overwhelming.
So sauske got a boost in power from the sage had way better taijutsu from actual training, on top of the power boosts of ms and ems.
And of course a rennigan power boost.
Finally, madras perfect sussano had close power to the full 9 tails.
What do you think sauskes boost is like?

A lot of these different "jutsus" you site are transformations, not jutsus. Naruto having energy coursing through him is not a jutsu; it's a stat boost. And a lot of them are also just variations of the same few jutsus like the rasengan. You can't just hold up his 17 different rasengans and be like "Look at all these different jutsus he has!"
You didn't include his most powerful ability - to make friends with everyone he meets.
Not to ruin your video . But everything you mention are not techniques besides the rasen shuriken . Everything is "Rasengan , bigger ransengan , bigger ransengan , punch , punch with 1000 Narutos , punch with 2000 Narutos "

In Kcm2 i think naruto can still break out of tsukuyumi. Itachi used it on Bee and 8 tails broke him out.

The tsukuymi is special because it only lasts for 1 moment irl.
This means by the time the 9 tails notices naruto is caught, the jutsu is over.
You gotta break out yourself from the inside out, which is near impossible.

Yes that's true I think he meant he can summon them individually not all together we have never seen a Naruto character that has contract seal summoning multiple summons because they require too much chakra at list at the point of pain arc.
