Tekken 3 = Christmas 1998 for me. Amazing times, and I still love the game to this day. Cost me £50 back then for my PS1, and worth every single penny!
Oh yeah, Jin was so unstoppable in 4 & 5. The combos were ridiculous and he had 1 move that unreal, that cannon kick was the shit. That's when Jin at his peak.
He was. On a Negative Nancy note, though, his Median Line Destruction in Tekken 5 was a bit rubbish. I'm actually glad they changed it to a knockdown attack in Tekken 6.
@@markwentsleightlymad that's true. I'ma raise my kids on retro games and work our way to the current generation so they can appreciate what they have.
I had a physical copy, back in the day. I let my cousin borrow it. Like a dumbass, I trusted him. When I asked for it back... he said that he "sold it" to a friend of his. To this day, he hasn't made up, for what he did. Luckily my nephew had a copy and I got a chance to play the game with him. I guess I should get to know a person, extremely well before letting them borrow my stuff, let alone a videogame that's hype as f**k! Friend or family... also closely observe how they handle it. 😑🤷🤔🙄🤓🤞
cease25 I never really cared about the mashimas mainly cause I was a kid that didn’t care about how hard they were to play. I ended up just sticking with king all the way. But in tekken 7 I started to learn the game more and now I’m into the mashimas and I’ll actually play them
I fucking LOVE Law's theme in this game. Excuse my language. Seriously, though, I get nostalgia pangs when that oriental beat drops at 1:25. The stage is beautiful, too.
@@CWan Paul, Jin, Heihachi, Ogre (Ancient or humanoid or whatever. Original form, basically), Bryan, Law, Gun Jack, and Mokujin for me. Mokujin's great, 'cause if you get bored of the other characters and can't decide who to pick, you'd pick him. He's pretty decent in Tag 2 as well, due to the fact that he can also mimic the Ogres, which is great fun, especially if, by coincidence, you're fighting any of them... God, I miss my PS3. Speaking of Hwoarang, though (well, because you mentioned him), I was never really keen on him (except maybe in Tekken 4). I don't know, I suppose I just never really liked his debut moveset, where you had to rely heavily on his Motion Switch techniques. I always liked Baek, though, even when I went back and played Tekken 2, which, of course, is his debut game. He had some stylish (but not too showboaty) and satisfying moves. Tekken 6 Baek will always be the best, though, in my opinion.
This is the game that started TEKKEN back then I used to play the freak out of tekken 3 but when I played the first Tekken I felt Disturbed but when I played Tekken 3 I felt not Disturbed Tekken 3 is what started the Tekken universe
Bryan, Ogre and Gon were my mains in this one. I was annoyed when this first came out, as I was really good with Armour King in T2 and he vanished from the roster. Thankfully, he returned later.
To be honest, he is kind of pointless, due to being a palette swap of Eddy. His stage theme is banging, though. It's just a shame they never made an *actual stage* for him, though. I mean, Gon and Bosconovitch had their own stages, for example, but for some reason, Tiger didn't.
Tekken 3-5 were the best Tekkens ever. But can someone please whisper in Harada's ear to please bring back Tekken Force. That was the best mode of the game. Why they thought that Tekken bowl was a worthy substitute is beyond my understanding. TEKKEN FORCE BITCH.
George Hunter I just picked up Tekken 7 two months ago but I would destroy you and anyone else that comes along in Tekken 3. I can talk shit without having to back it up too ;)
The Tekken 5 ps2
disc actually has a close to arcade perfect version of Tekken 3 👍🏼
This is the game that introduced me to the Tekken franchise, and I been a fan every since.
Best TEH KEN evar
Agreed
@@diobrando1918 Also there was a arcade perfect version of TEKKEN 3 on TEKKEN 5
Best guest character ever too: Gon!

Best looking PS1 games.
R4
Tekken 3
MGS
RE3
Dino Crisis
SOTN
Omega Boost
Namco really knew the hardware with R4 and Tekken 3.
My favorite fighting game of all-time. Legendary even.
The fact that people were in the chat confused about the lack of wall combos damn near triggered an existential crisis in me.
Calvin Young they're just young... They don't know what we went through lol :)

This and SF3rd strike are classics. Oh and also MVC2
Wait a second this game is 25 years old
No, tekken 1 is.
@@PassionWagonYT Oh I was about to say
Just saw you in the king of fighters ad before the video began, good job 👌
I find it funny that ogre/true orge are playable at the start on the arcade machines of Tekken 3
Greatest Tekken game and one of the greatest fighting games in video game history.

Would it be asking too much for a Tekken collection on PS4?
As an Eddy main, that Eddy mirror HURT. Do neither of you low block???
I always considered the unblockable attacks to be the supers of Tekken and SC.
Same here. I can't stand the Rage Art shite.
We need Jin Student costume for Tekken7
Paul is so good in this game, hopefully they did Tekken force mode all the way through.
Please in tekken 8 let jin be a mix of 3 and 7 I miss this jin so much
Best fighting game OST! Next to Third Strike.
I fucking LOVE Law's theme in this game. Excuse my language. Seriously, though, I get nostalgia pangs when that oriental beat drops at 1:25. The stage is beautiful, too.
Yeah the best tekken game out there
8:12 That is *THE* correct answer, Max. Well done!
This is best tekken game of all time
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I prefer the arcade OST over the remixed one for a large majority of the music.
I miss playing Tekken 3 Nina Williams is my favorite character ❤️❤️❤️
Who are your main choices in Tekken 3?
Mine: Nina, Xiayou & Hworang
Hwoarang, Jin and Law.
Law, hwoarang, paul
bryan , heihachi , Jin
Hwoarang, Jin, Yoshimitsu, Mokujin, Gun Jack, Kuma, King & Bryan.

Tekken Tag Tournament was dope cuz of the roster but i love 3 for the tekken force mode

Does max know about the arcade version Yoshi's 1 second kill?
Is this what Toretto family plays in their spare time?
Megaman legends ps1 was nice artwise
Tekken 3 , still my favorite tekken
Best looking game on ps1? Ridge racer Type 4.
I played bloody roar :)
First game I ever played on the ps1. Good times lol
ahh yes
the game that gave us the ultimate cheese for arcade mode
eddie gordo
After hitting them with 2 laser scrapers you can get 1 extra hit in with df+4 :)
Never played as tiger!

This was one of the games my mom got me along with metal gear solid, back when I got my ps1 I'm old asf and this game still holds up, fuck the haters.
K I N G
Why don’t tekken games ever get re released? I don’t wanna have to buy a ps classic and mod it just for a couple games

Tekke 3 the best tekken
still one of my favorite fightning games of all times, even tho many people say tekken 5 beats the shit out it, i don't fucking care
Tekken 3.👍😃
Yeah. Jin was always cooler in Tekken 3.
Tekken 3 is still the best game in the series. Nina Williams should come to Smash Bros Ultimate as one of the next set of DLC fighters.
And to this day. It's not a PS1 Classic. This game out of all games. Isn't a PS1 Classic... SMH.
