I think Hasan has probably been depressed for the past couple years. Hasan's absolute peak was when he was reacting to tiktok karens and MAGA boomer public meltdown. Now he takes himself absurdly seriously, is always pissed off at the world, bitter, constantly being passionately incorrect and then getting absolutely humiliated when proven wrong. Dude, I’m a disabled woman with chronic pain, which makes me depressed (y’know, the being in pain all the time can be mentally draining), but being GRATEFUL and THANKFUL for every little blessing in life did WONDERS for my mental health.
There isn’t a thing I can do about my pain, and no doctor I’ve been to cares to figure it out - but at least I found one that cares about my quality of life. I’m truly more blessed than many other disabled folk, and I remind myself of that and feel a bit better about my situation.
I find being thankful for at LEAST three things a day is a good START

I feel like as politics gets more serious again with the Israel vs. Palestine war and the Ukraine vs. Russia war, making content on it is going to get more depressing and less appealing, especially to a younger audience. Breadtube was having a field day making videos on Jordan Peterson, Prager U, and Trump tweets, which are topics you can have more fun with and make jokes about. This isn't the sole reason, but it feels like a fraction of it.
I've never seen attacking an audience work out for anyone.

Personally, I like a stream that I can make a comment and it has a decent chance of being seen, read and responded to by the streamer. Otherwise, it’s not nearly as fun of an experience for me. I can’t just blindly make donos without that element of it too.
Hasan's behavior and attitude can be easily attributed to him being handed everything in life. Hes lived an extremely privileged life, hes never had to worry about the financial part of the equation, so he doesn't care if he is still making great money, its about viewers and eyes on him. About how he measures up to who he considers his peers.

When I was a teenager and into Hasan content before growing out and realizing how much of a hack he was...I DESPISED his regular content. He would gather viewers over upset Americans due to discourse of politics, but expect majority of these people to stay for his regular boring content. He is terrible at video-games and if he isnt doing that as content he is walking off camera to eat food every 30 minutes while someones else's content plays and treats it as entertainment.
Hasan's problem is his community He is trying way too hard to be edgy and and to be an e-boy there are ways that he can be funny without coming off as a champagne socialist And a grifter. He can try toning the politics way down. And not do politics every stream. He doesn't necessarily need to be edgy to be relevant. He is no longer and not alone in the space when it comes to progressive politics. There have been numerous UA-cam channels and people who popping up and also new people starting to stream and have progressive left-leaning UA-cam channels. Who are also a part of generation z.
