- Part 2 - Decided to take my 86 year old Dad on a little camping trip up to Mt. Lemmon, Arizona and Rose Canyon Lake Campground. We haven't been up there in many years and it was so nice to get up into the cool pines and enjoy the weather and beautiful scenery! Mt. Lemmon is only about 25 miles north of Tucson (a 45 minute drive - but count on occasional stops to see the view!)

Wow that is so nice that you could take your father and have a real father-son experience out there in the woods! I know that my 91-year-old mother and 87 year old mother-in-law could not travel with us so it's difficult for us to leave they rely on us for company and for care. But in the meantime my wife and I have made a couple of journeys in our 1977 Dodge Mallard class C! And we lovingly call Lucy after Lucille Ball and the Long Long trailer! I am at this moment Christmas 2022 finishing up the bathroom renovated the bathroom new toilet new sink and cabinet and a freshening up of the tub yes a tub! But she's got 800 watts of solar 600 amp hours of lithium stored power over three different systems on board so we can boondock completely off grid and not need anything. I spent my time the last 3 years just rebuilding everything mechanically and a cudamentally yes that is a word but our slogan is function before fashion and our mantra is Lucy is held together by tape glue and prayer but we are confident that God and Lucy can bring us anywhere! Thank you so much I enjoy your channel thoroughly.

I saw that movie for the first time a few years back when a friend of ours recommended it - it made us laugh so hard cause Tammy loves to collect her rocks too! And wow that breakfast looked really good and I could almost smell it but what about the bears could they smell it are they going to come running I'm waiting to see as I'm watching if you'll hear any growls or anything heading your way lol.
Lol, nope we didn’t have any critter’s to worry about thankfully! However I did have a little mouse who tried to climb in my roof vent in the middle of the night!
