I'll be 73 on Saturday and still cycling (more on my own these days than in groups) and training hard online during the winter months on Zoom with my coach who is about your age. Both of you are keeping me young. LOL. Thanks for the personal video as you are truly a cycling friend and it's good to know you better. Love following your adventure through life.
Juliet, damn girl, you don't look 43! You are an inspiration in so many ways. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I would love to meet your cats! Tattoo video would be fun too!
WHAT?! Next can we ask how she doesn’t look a day over 30? Is it anything to do with doing something you love every d*** day? Side note, my like to this comment is the 43rd one hehe..
I guessed you were maybe late thirties, you're doing great for 43! I am a lapsed competitive 52 year old MTBer who is now overweight but you have really motivated me to start cycling again, I've just set up a pain cave and an account with Zwift. Many thanks, I really enjoy your videos.
Thank you for sharing, after a split I miss my daughter like crazy and getting back in to cycling after many years away is one thing that keeps me sane.
Thanks for this! (Sorry to learn of your separation... I know single-parenting requires sacrifices sometimes, but being Dad was, and still is, the most rewarding thing I have ever done! The saga continues now that I'm Granddad.) Long-time, and year-round, fixie rider here in far northern Minnesota USA. I love your fixie vids and would love to see more. You're a beautiful women who deserves the best!
You should do a rundown of all the riding eras of your cycling life. You have a really varied bike riding past... From racing fixie crits to friendly bike packing you done so many different types of riding. I have it... You should spend one or two minutes sitting beside each of your 9-10 bikes and tell the highlights and experiences while using each one. You are are awesome! Keep putting up the quality content.
As a new subscriber, I've been enjoying your videos a great deal. Randomly, I came across a video from 12 years ago, featuring you on a fixed wheel bike, from that, I guessed your age at early 30s at the very most, so 43 was a big surprise! (not that your age is any business of mine!). It's nice to learn a bit about you, but you should only share what you are comfortable with. I can only imagine how tough it is to have limited time with your daughter, as a grandparent, I've Covid restrictions and resulting lack of time with my grandchildren pretty hard to take. Keep doing what you're doing, it's great!
Now Finland Windy - 19C hr and only classix XC skiing outside possible. Nice to hear your bikes and Life in general. Target to start gravel biking at Spring If new bike comes Happy Winter and ..i m 59yr who cares
Would love to see more MTB content! A tattoo that symbolized "Good morning" and your sunny, bright disposition (sunrise?) seems appropriate. It's no surprise you have sponsors giving you bikes, clothes, trips, etc - you are delight. All the best....
So nice to see you riding around my late wife's home town of Brixham. There are indeed some very big hills there to ride up and down. Really enjoyable video!
Juliet I kind of feel bad you feel compelled to share some difficult things in your life. I could see the discomfort and feel for you. Despite your celebrity status you are still human and complex and wonderful. I hope you find peace and happiness in this journey of life. All the best.
Everyone has their complexities and most likely some baggage! I get asked a lot about this stuff and despite it being slightly awkward, I’m other ways it feels good to just get stuff out in the open so people will stop asking!
I love all your ride films. Either road, trail or gravel, it does not matter. I UA-cam to plan future vacations so all of those are really helpful. Maybe you should get sponsorship from the local tourist board. Ha ha! I base my next UK vacation on material from you, The Craft Beer Channel and some trail running channels. Cant wait to go! Cheers!
I’ll tell ya what, I’m sure we all appreciate the candid facts. Seen a few of your vids and you’re just mad as a box of frogs. In a lovely way. I go wild camping quite a lot and you’ve inspired me to start bikepacking. And dust the bike off and get out on longer adventures. Keep the vids coming. Thank you 🤟
Like many others I’d put you down as younger! So as I’ve just turned 46 that gives me kick up bum! It’s good to open up bit without disclosing to much! Good vid!
Thanks for answering some of those personal questions. It may seem a little strange, why people ask them. But that’s how people are. Even walking around my neighborhood with my dogs daily, and getting to know my neighbors. It’s just normal all the personal questions you get, and also personal advice on life. I guess it’s just human nature to be inquisitive. Just like children ask the funniest questions. I do find it a little odd with grown adults, but like you, I’m very open minded and I love talking to people, so I’m never really offended at personal questions. Yes, I’d love to see MTN bike ride videos added. 👍🏻👍🏻
“Recovery ride” rides up Overgang one handed while vlogging 😂. I’m glad I found your channel. I am getting back into riding after many years. I’m getting many route ideas from your channel, especially the Dartmoor trails.
It's good to know how a person can be sponsored and personally I like a lot UK cycling culture and you represent it. Love the videos showing natural parks or cool roads in Britain.
How amazing that UA-cam introduce your channel to me. U r tough and have strong spirits on cycling and taking care of your kid. I am not good at English, but British English sounds nicely. Keep up the good work!
Deff mtb and trails with all other content is my vote🤙I don't ride road bikes, just the above but who knows I may be converted....the local stuff is cool as well as your saving me finding the trails myself🤔Torbay and it's hills!!! Ever thought of adding a EMTB to your collection? Personal uplift and expanded audience🤔 ATB Shane🤘
i live about 6 or 7 miles away from bike park wales went in there twice. about 15 from cwmcarn been there the most i like them much better me personally. but if not into big jumps id much rather avon forest that is awesome
Thank you for the the videos. I'm not a racer so I wouldn't have stumbled across your content if it hadn't been for your gravel rides here on UA-cam. I thoroughly enjoy the positive energy and and easy going demeanor you bring to every ride and I hope you keep this up for some time.
Yeah right! You don’t look 43! I really like your videos! I discovered your channel when searching for videos of the Red Hook crit. I’ve been watching since. I think your videos are appealing because you’re just being yourself as well as being informative. Do you think you’ll ever come to the US for an event here? Maybe Unbound gravel or Steamboat gravel. Colorado is beautiful! If you’re really a masochist, you can do the the Leadville 100 and Steamboat gravel in the same weekend. It’s affectionately known as Lead boat! It could be known as death boat!😂. Thanks for the personal info!
Great insights into your life. I was surprised when you revealed your age, as you were leading up to the 'reveal' I was saying in my head, 35, 35! All the best!
I'm the owner of over 300 bikes, some of them quite old. I'm 62 with a 30-year-old fiancé. I used to ride over 1,000k/wk., but now that Vause has relocated to New Zealand I'm down to about 750k. I make my living as a Waste Management Consultant which translates to sewer pipe flow, rather than any relationship to Italians. I watch you, Francis, and Katie faithfully. I would love to ride along your route today, because the scenery reminds me of the French river and sailboats I enjoyed when I was a child.
Thank you Juliet, my Wife and I love your Videos, you introduced my Wife Anne to ‘Bike Hiking’, so whenever the gradient gets to hard she is off her Gravel Bike and all I hear is ‘Well Juliet does it’, she also says ‘Morning’ to everyone. We would love to see your Cats feature in a Video soon please. Steve IOW 😎
Juliet, that was a great video. Thanks for sharing you with us. I am glad that you can keep smiling. I want to meet your cats and I look forward to learning about your ink.
Would love to see more mountain biking stuff - it's that content that reintroduced me to you, having previously been a fan of the Charge Plug fixed videos. I think the video I watched was actually a dirt jumping one and then I just stayed. So yeah, more mountain bike and dirt jumping stuff would be great.
As so many others I didn't believe you where so old, do look younger in a good way :) But a thing I like about this channel is that how it feels like you know cycling for real after all you've done and for such a long time. More genuine than some other new youtubers and influencers that just think they know things that they don't. So keep up the awesome work being you and sharing it with us :D
I've said this before but I like the gear reviews. Lights, tools, waterproofs etc... That's pretty much how I decide what I'm going to buy when I need something, I trust my favourite UA-camr's. Also I love the MTB stuff, it makes for good video.
Sorry to hear about your family issues, it is a really tough thing. However you are looking and sounding amazing so keep your ace films coming. Also, 33 surely. Never 43 !!!!!, ❤️🥰
Full respect cycling up Overgang hill one handed. I live in Brixham, and as you mention there are hills everywhere. Love your videos, honest and fun. Brightens up my day. Have you done the 4 hills challenge to Hilllhead ? and the exciting climb out of Dartmouth? always a breath taker... lol
Great stuff and glad cycling and fresh air keeps you positive throughout. More mtb stuff would be cool, maybe some retro ride’s? And how about a ‘cattoo’ instead as you like cats so much?!😄
Juliet, you are quite inspirational and awesome You are very “real“ and have a wonderful energy even if you may not always feel wonderful. Keep doing what you’re doing my vote is more gravel type cycling which is always good. I’m more of a dog person so not too bothered about the cat videos but anything bikes, with drop bars preferably. Otherwise be good to yourself, Best wishes
Great insight. Wow you are nearly at 100k subscribers!!! Congratulations to you, it’s not taken you long to get to this fantastic milestone! Thank you.
UA-cam Q&A are often difficult and borderline cringe. But you managed to make it feel wholesome and interesting at the same time. Keep up your good spirits!
Thanks for sharing those personal details, prudent to be cautious saying too much as you can’t “unsayit” . Stay safe, you are an inspiration and enjoy your updates… cheers
Very brave of you to share that sort of information, Juliet. From a viewers point of view, it brings us into your world. Did make me laugh though a couple of funny looks, in the background, from pedestrians when you were humming away, down the high street 😆
As a cat person of course I am dying to meet your feline friends! Would be fun to learn your favorite and least favorite things about each one. One of the things that happens when you develop a following on youtube or anywhere else is an environment where your followers want to know more and more about you. It is up to you to determine your comfort level in sharing information. I'm the sort that wouldn't ever ask anything overly personal, but that doesn't mean I don't wonder. And I think most of your subscribers are in the same camp as me. As far as your age, you are easily one of the fittest 43 year-olds I've known, even with the frequent cake stops! Regarding tattoos, it seems to me that the choice should be yours and yours alone. Something as important as that should be done with great reflection and should be something personal to you. Just my opinion. Love watching your videos, keep it coming!
Age is only a number. Your HEART ❤ for cycling and passion for life is what keeps all of us watching and waiting for the next video. Thanks for being REAL.
Thank you for sharing with us all. You are brave and down to Earth. I like that. I would like you to consider this saying for your tattoo. "Acts of kindness. It is our most powerful force for good.."
43! Your never 43. I have only started following you and your such an inspiration. I’m doing the Hadrians Wall Cycleway next year which is 174 miles, can you give me any tips for preparing for my journey.
I would've never have thought that you're 43 !!!! I thought you were 10 years younger ??? Blimey !!! I'm an old MTB/gravel git who started MTB's in the early '90's = pushing 60 and still riding at least 5k miles a year.....Keep going as long as possible as it's the best therapy you can get.....
I’m covered in a variety of tattoos but one of my favourites is definitely the ‘portrait’ my son drew of me. Would also like to know what your preferred pint is.
Thanks for answering, hope you had some nice cake after this. Always impressed by your riding uphill chatting away to a camera. Do like the odd shot of Catwoman can't remember the other one's name or is there three.
Juliet same here single parent & you need to catch me if you still had 14 bikes, I’m approaching 30 bikes unfortunately I can’t help collecting/ up cycling 👍👍
You live near some lovely places hopefully be able take my mountain bike to Minehead next year have 5 days or the week there why I'm in Warrington Been looking at some rides I could do. And 43 same age has me be careful doing mountain bike videos I found out a few times when you fall off it hurts longer than it did in my twenties 😂 keep up the great videos
I'm in shock. A recovery ride in jeans. That's a new one. Regarding tattoos. The advice i have given to my 2 grown up kids is buy a painting. When you've got tired of it, you can sell it. BTW, i enjoyed your Flanders video.(Beers & Bergs) I wasn't that surprised that 6.5% Alc beer and a bike ride don't mix that well. (LOL)
Without knowing some of the stuff you talk about people assume a lot. It’s your channel and totally up to you what you do and don’t share. Although you’re sponsored those brands no doubt want their pound of flesh and I don’t envy the workload of making editing and uploading videos, keeping content fresh and also the sacrifices you and your fellow vloggers make in order to keep doing what you obviously enjoy.
Funny, I was just thinking how hard it must be to come up with interesting content every 3-4 days, but you always manage to come up with something delightful and uplifting.
I know speaking of personal type issued is uncomfortable for a content developer like yourself; however, fascinating vid. Loved it. Thank you to all Juliet's sponsors. Keep up the good work.
Well, I was wondering a few of these, but never asked. We're 5 years apart, funny, I thought you were much younger (by the way, I'm older) HA! I did not know about being single, sorry bout that. 9 bikes, that's not over the top (well, sort of) lol. You are a super fun person Juliet! Keep smiling, and keep riding! Cheers!!!
Yep... Have you ever tried touring?(on a bike of course...:) Marin is my favorite American bicycle co. Before I even knew who you are!!! Either it's you them or even me that has good taste...:) my dream is to ride to Marin County from Nebraska and get my first Marin from them...:)
NO WAY!!! wow now way you look 43 (compliment) no way you're single!!! your daughter is lovely, and you are so lovely and entertaining. The honesty is why we keep watching you. I enjoy all that you do, and I find all your content lovely and inspiring. Keep that spunk and enthusiasm for life, biking, and your passions coming and GOOD MORNING to you Juliet
As difficult as you might have found it, providing the questions were not too intrusive, I'm sure we all appreciated you taking the trouble to answer them. Yes, you publish cycling content however the answers you provided make you a lot more real and relatable to and perhaps give people confidence that they can undertake similar exploits. However as for introducing us to your cats ........ 😂
I'll be 73 on Saturday and still cycling (more on my own these days than in groups) and training hard online during the winter months on Zoom with my coach who is about your age. Both of you are keeping me young. LOL. Thanks for the personal video as you are truly a cycling friend and it's good to know you better. Love following your adventure through life.
appreciated
Every day when I get up I hear in my head your cheerful „MORNING“ call. Makes me smile. Thank you for that 😁
Ah that’s nice!
Well she does actually
to be honest, I thought she was a fit early 40s gal.
@@the.communist No, she doesn't. I've seen people in their late 30s that look older than her.
You're amazing! Effortlessly cool and real AF. Clearly an amazing mamma too and an awesome role model. Love your energy!
Thanks so much!
I'm a young 50, and have loved your videos for years. That "Mornin'!" brightens my mood everytime! Keep it up!
I guessed you were maybe late thirties, you're doing great for 43! I am a lapsed competitive 52 year old MTBer who is now overweight but you have really motivated me to start cycling again, I've just set up a pain cave and an account with Zwift. Many thanks, I really enjoy your videos.
Do it. 57 here and didn't start until 52. Love racing MTB, feel 14 again.
Love your videos, thank you for sharing a little bit of your life with us. You are amazing and totally adorable and super fun to watch. Cheers!
Thanks! ☺️
It just happened! 100’000 subscribers! Yeeeeeeeeeah! Congratulations Juliet!
Thank you for sharing, after a split I miss my daughter like crazy and getting back in to cycling after many years away is one thing that keeps me sane.
Deffo do the mountain biking stuff more. So much more interesting and fun. Also love the gravel stuff. Keep it up 👍
Thanks for this! (Sorry to learn of your separation... I know single-parenting requires sacrifices sometimes, but being Dad was, and still is, the most rewarding thing I have ever done! The saga continues now that I'm Granddad.)

I’m glad I found your channel. I am getting back into riding after many years. I’m getting many route ideas from your channel, especially the Dartmoor trails.
Cool if you make a video about the home gym. Going into winter, good to see what kit / setup you use for strength training. I could do with some tips!
I filmed one last week but it was a bit rubbish so I’m going to redo it
It's good to know how a person can be sponsored and personally I like a lot UK cycling culture and you represent it. Love the videos showing natural parks or cool roads in Britain.
You are a really cool person, love watching your videos
Thank you so much 🤗
Thanks for sharing these stuff! Advanced congratulations, you're nearing 100k subs!
I miss England so much. Lovely for you to share your cycling pics and your positive perspective. Simply wonderful.

Love watching your videos. They put a smile on my face. Only been following you since lockdown no.1. You are an inspiration. Stay rad!

Thanks so much. Aw that’s awesome, as long as you’re getting up there it doesn’t matter how!!
Will introduce them 😊
Hiking is also a great outdoor activity. Carrying a bike around is just some extra training.
Basically hiking with increased difficulty 😅
Juliet, that was a great video. Thanks for sharing you with us. I am glad that you can keep smiling.

Love your video's you're always upbeat even if you're feeling low. What a lovely lady. Looking fab at 43..keeper lit as they say in N Ireland.
UA-cam Q&A are often difficult and borderline cringe. But you managed to make it feel wholesome and interesting at the same time. Keep up your good spirits!

Very brave of you to share that sort of information, Juliet. From a viewers point of view, it brings us into your world.
Did make me laugh though a couple of funny looks, in the background, from pedestrians when you were humming away, down the high street 😆
Fair play to u for being in such a great shape, as fit as a fiddle, for looking so young and my admiration.
Always wanted to get the signature bike grease-mark permanently tattooed on my right calf. You know the one.

Interesting video, it's cool that you shared some personal info. I also wanted to know which Smith helmet that is? Thanks
Age is only a number. Your HEART ❤ for cycling and passion for life is what keeps all of us watching and waiting for the next video. Thanks for being REAL.
I thought you were going to ride down those stairs at 3:15!
Nice vlog and personal info. You’re doing very well. Two handful of bikes is plenty.
Not being creepy at all , I thought 28 . Thanks again for another great video.
Mark from Maryland
Thank you for sharing with us all. You are brave and down to Earth. I like that. I would like you to consider this saying for your tattoo. "Acts of kindness. It is our most powerful force for good.."

Supper fun and Informative! Glad to see you are feeling better.
Thanks for sharing, it takes a lot of guts to open up to the world, love your videos and keep up the good work!!!
Thanks for sharing. Hats off for sharing personal stuff
Thanks for being an inspiration. What a life you've had and that's just from the snippets. Keep smiling through 🙏
Hi what jacket are you wearing it’s lovely and looks warm! Thanks love you vids! 😊
Juliet have you been to Afan Argoed Bike park Near Port Talbot good single track XC style trails there
Bloody funny questions for a cycling UA-camr - it’s not Tinder 🤣
Funny video and cool to see you riding around my old patch. Have fun!
A tattoo idea is a picture with all the things important to you. Bikes, being a mother, the outdoors etc. Great video and no way you're 43!! X
(LOL)
You can ride a bike in anything!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I’m glad that beer was only small!
Excellent Update And What A Bombshell - Big Hugs
Cheers
I know speaking of personal type issued is uncomfortable for a content developer like yourself; however, fascinating vid. Loved it. Thank you to all Juliet's sponsors. Keep up the good work.
Looking good for 43 Juliet!
Cheers!!!
sorry to hear about you and Dave. thanks fir the video and openness
Congrats on 100k!!
Aw thank you! Well I should probably clarify, I actually have a boyfriend, when I said single parent I meant I parent my daughter alone
@@JulietElliottsChannel I thought so, but the compliments still are valid and lucky guy indeed. Peace and love to you Juliet
Is the jacket a pedaled odyssey? Quite like the look of them 👍
What an amazing place to ride. It definitely looks like you could get a mega hill workout in without having to cover much ground.
Thank you for sharing. And bloody hell, I've been up that Brixham hill a few times, I certainly wouldn't be able to hold a conversation!
