You can tell these dudes really loved ACDC. There's been heaps of covers, but this is by far, the best cover of an ACDC song, ever. Dave almost sounds like Bon in some notes, and no one held back, they all smashed it out and man, I hope this makes an album because it's fucking wicked. @@nobrainsnoheadache2434 Ah, bad luck dude, world will open up soon and they should be first on your list when you can. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
Bon Scott smiles in this song and sings like an angel.
yet angus cringes at how you cant hear his guitar solo
This was the best that anyone not AC/DC could've done. Bon is bon, impossible to replicate
I particularly enjoyed these carpets on the studio floor. Reminded me of my childhood home.
I never thought I would hear a band cover AC/DC and make it sound so good. How can Dave Grohl have vocal chords after singing like that? Wow.
I love the Foo Fighters.
David Subat tenacious D did it to
The amount of talent he has to play guitar and sing is incredible
These guys continuously lived out their rock and roll fantasies.....kept it real!
They are impossibly talented. Blessed.
man!!!! how Phil Ruud looks so relaxed while playing this
Phil is a human metronome !!!!
When I was a kid I would fantasise about being in a rock band. The problem was I could never decide if I was the drummer or guitar player. I think Dave lives that every day.
be the singer
*wise yoda voice* : You can do both
One of the best covers of this absolute classic
Hallo SOS! Mother and Father of all creation are here in the physical in person on earth to show the way phone home today! It's been trillions of years journey for Mama Papa to reach all on earth to wake up to this truth!
this makes my eyes water !!!!happy tears just a joyous amazing cover again RIP Tayor XX
You can tell these dudes really loved ACDC. There's been heaps of covers, but this is by far, the best cover of an ACDC song, ever. Dave almost sounds like Bon in some notes, and no one held back, they all smashed it out and man, I hope this makes an album because it's fucking wicked. Foo's are really close to the top of my favourite bands, probably second behind Motorhead, and because of Dave Grohl, I got into Motorhead so I respect the hell out of all those guys, and their ability. RIP Malcom, I hope you and Bon kicked back and heard this one.
C'mon. I like Dave, but nowhere near the best. Sounds nothing like Bon.
Lemmys cover of its a long way to the top is epic
Hahahah...Thanks for the laugh,man.
If I wanted to listen to a cover that sounded as close to the original as they could make it, but far worse, I'd just listen to the original. What's the point of listening to a cover that tries to make itself sound like the original?
They really respect real music .....
OMG I wasn't expected that but never disapointed with the FF
Julie i wasn't expected that either
Fear Factory? FF
Mick Taylor foo fighters
How can Dave stay so cool, just go freaking wild......🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Once in a while I play this just to remind myself why I love rock music so much. It is a fantastic cover of a fantastic song by a fantastic band.
One of the best covers I've seen, but it still blows me away that the ACDC version is still way heavier and more ballsy and it was recorded in the 70s.
Tracy Street Gibson SG and Angus and Malcom that's all lol
Yep!!!
Especially the Glassgow '78 and Donnington '91 versions!
hazardoustoxicity, Glasgow!!!
Tracy Street its a cover but its a foo fighters version
wow he NAILED the vocals as well as everything else!!!! brilliant!!!
It's a great cover, it has the energy and raw sound of early AC/DC!
Not a foo fighters fan but he totally nails the vocal style. Probably one of the best things I've heard them do
now go listen to bon sing it with ac/dc. this is TERRIBLE
Hallo SOS! Mother and Father of all creation are here in the physical in person on earth to show the way phone home today! It's been trillions of years journey for Mama Papa to reach all on earth to wake up to this truth!
Ladies... find yourself a guy, who looks at you the way Dave looks at Taylor
who learn Taylor how to play the bongo..
@@Carstensenson Who taught you to type a coherent sentence?
I laughed maybe way too hard at this.
looooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Right?!?
That’s pure Rock and Roll beauty. Awesome
I have been a fan of ACDC since I could crawl(1980) and Dave groll with the foo fighters that was spot on... Love it and nice one guys for doing an exceptional rendition of one of my all time favourites...perfect guys👍
Have a listen to Henry Rollins with the Hard Ons.
Goose bumps… What a cover is this.. World-class….🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The Foo's are awesome. One of my faves 💡🥁🎯♥so good ❤
Never been much of a Foo fan but if their tunes rocked THIS hard it’d sure change my mind; awesome cover!!!
Some of them do. Especially the early stuff.
Listen to their greatest hits that might change your mind the foos can rock hard
Man- that kicked some serious ass. Foo Fighters killing it. Couldn't happen to nicer guys!
So long Taylor, your charisma and energy on the drums were awesome!! RIP
Probably the best cover of ACDC that I've heard. Love to hear FF's do Shake a Leg!
Best ACDC cover. Y'all killed it and still no matter how good I find that nobody captures that bass and guitar tone the way the boys do...that's what I find so remarkable about ACDC..how "simple" it is to play yet how impossible it is to recreate the tone and balls
Thing I love about Hawkins was that his 90% sounded like anyone else's 100%. He still had the energy to put in some little subtle licks that you just can't do when going all out. Such a great musician.
At the age of 19 years old I saw AC/DC at the Monsters of Rock festival at Donington Park for the 1st time live! OUTSTANDING! This is a great cover of a classic! Still love hearing Bon Scott singing this track! 🤘😜🤘 #acdcfanforlife
Two of my favorit bands! ACDC and foo fighters. Fantástic! Longa Vida ao verdadeiro rock .
Why do they always mix Chris so low ? The guy can shred.
He is the "Jason Newsted" of Foo Fighters.!
Man i wonder the same thing. Almost sounds a little bland without him showing through
I know right!!!! Same thing every time I've seen them live
shredding is not for alt rock bro
Foo Fighters is all about rithem and drums. The lead guitar isn't in the spot light.
Just foo fighters paying homage too a great rock and roll band and they did a great job 👏 respect to the foos 😊
Hallo SOS! Mother and Father of all creation are here in the physical in person on earth to show the way phone home today! It's been trillions of years journey for Mama Papa to reach all on earth to wake up to this truth!
All time Ac/dc fan here. Incredible performance by Hawkins. Very close to the spirit of Rudd, but with his touch, an amazing groove and feeling of his own, but true to the original. Bless you.
Just once I'd love to see Dave and Angus performing together, then I could die a happy man.
Yup I’m a 70s kid and loved AC/DC. This was damn good.
1 of my favs covering 1 of my favs Fkin Awesome RIP TAYLOR XXX
Probably the best cover of AC/DC I've listened to. RIP Taylor.
Shut up ffs
You can't have listened to much then I've seen plenty on here that are well ahead of these guys.
I’ll never give up on good music, but I’d have thought rock-n-roll was dead years ago, if not for Dave and Foo.
Thanks, guys!
Best cover ever...imagine acdc and foo fighters on the same stage...whoa!!
Wow that was awesome. Well done Foo Fighters. Loved the drummers energy, he was working it.
One of the best tributes/covers to AC/DC. Long live rock'n'roll and electric guitar. ;) :)
Not only do I love their Foo music, they are proving to be one of the best cover bands on earth!!
I think when it comes to covers mr bungle beats em all. No matter what song or genre they cover they do it perfe tly everytime from songs like "what the world needs now" "everybody is working for the weekend" "mister rogers theme" "24000 baci"(italian pop), "welcome back" "hit me baby one more time" "we are the champions" ect
Love this...April 11th 2020, Let there be ROCK!!!!
Check their cover out

No one can give great tribute to AC⚡️DC as Foo Fighter .. Rock n Roll always forever🤘
That's the way to do a cover.....if you can't do it as well, or even add to it, then simply don't bother, but the Foo's do all of that and more - they add love and appreciation and understanding of a truly great band - AD/DC. Awesome musicians in their own right, all of them..... God Bless you Taylor, an absolute legend, as a drummer, singer and family man. ❤😢😢💔
The lead guitar wasn't loud enough. Still good, tho.
that song is not that song without the guitar solo , basically all their songs need the guitar solo loud and proud or its just not acdc
YES, this is fucking awesome! Long Live Foo Fighters.
You smash down the entire space by drums and guitar 🎸 by the power of AC and DC.
imagine being Australian and a legendary rock performer play this!... WOW! Let There Be Rock! baby
