    Not bad for staying pretty much stock. Just had the 3.8 whipple done on my 21 GT500 and went a little more modded than this. Running 3.625 pulley on 93 and made 1015rwhp.

      @@drpmotorsports2186 that’s honestly amazing! I saw they rated it at 1,035 engine horsepower, so seeing it actually in action and the wheel numbers is beyond impressive.

    really wish that during the c6/c7 corvette era ford came out with a modern 460ci motor for expedition/gt500...imagine a 460 with a 3.8 blower

    Great number,
    Dose keeping the catalyic convertor in this level of power safe?

    • @drpmotorsports2186
      @drpmotorsports2186  9 місяців тому +1

      Yes you can keep the converters happy with proper cooling fuel enrichment in the tune. Yes they will fail at some point, but they'll last longer than most people credit them for.

      @@drpmotorsports2186sounds good , then as i know with tune all tuner turn off the secandry O2 sensor in order to disable the over heat temp to allow the power continue up to end of RPM, hence by keep the convertor in tune car , dose this mean the 2nd O2 sensore will stay work?

    • @drpmotorsports2186
      @drpmotorsports2186  9 місяців тому +1

      @6598901 Any reputable tuner will not disable rear 02 sensor logic in a tune. We don't either. Doing so can get a company in big trouble with the government.
      Rear 02 logic is to monitor catalytic efficiency and nothing to do with performance.
      Overtemp enrichment logic does hurt overall power output when it kicks in but not by much and you must keep that logic in place to protect converters from overheat.

    Did you have to lower the motor?

    So Ray just to compare dollar per hp, if pulley up to 16 pound had longtube header, 3 inch X-pipe , ported supercharger on the factory Ford supercharger and retune for add on, will that bring the hp&tq close to the whipple. Great content brother.🙏👍💪

    Does it make a rattling noise at idle like the hellcat version of the whipple?

  • @Royalties500
    @Royalties500 9 місяців тому +2

    On the 3.875 pulley (least boost)
    950whp on 93 octane is possible.
    This car needs "2 headers / no cats & ID1300s / proper fueling.
    Freeing up the restrictive headers & cats is huge less backpressure / more efficient.
    (I have this set-up on my car)

      Totally true! But also highly illegal too. Folks need to understand the government is no joke and is cracking down of shops removing emissions parts.

    • @Royalties500
      @Royalties500 9 місяців тому +1

      @drpmotorsports2186 Nothing Illegal about it, it's for "off road" competitive driving on my "track car"

      @Royalties500 I hear you friend. But if a vehicle is registered/licensed with the DMV, the Federal government doesn't see it that way.

      @@drpmotorsports2186 Yes, they are. No sense going catless when one can make this sort of power on 93 all emissions legal. No games to be played is nice for peace of mind.
