Very fine review, to the point! I just bought the small 4. Used to have 4 XL twice, but it was a bit big to me and also got greenish screen twice. Now it's fine, just need to swap the battery, which is unimpressive at best, but should be quite acceptable when new. Apart from battery I'd say the Pixel 4 is the best Pixel, and I've got 3, 3a, 4a, 5, 6, 6 Pro. I love the design, superclean and solid and of course the software and camera. No bs, just classy and unique phone. The design alone will belong to smartphone museums of the future.
Very interesting to hear that from a pixel 6 pro owner. I also miss the 4 xl personally. Things like face unlock and superior haptics, extremely good speakers.. damn. But the 6 pro ain't better? I only have the normal 6 to compare.
@@techteo_yt I'd say 6 Pro is a bit better for an average consumer overall, but not massively, plus the fingerprint sensor is slow and the ultrawide angle camera is not very wide. In all honesty, I only miss the motion photos from the 6 series, love those effects. Haptics and speakers are indeed better on the 4/XL.
Please make a comparison video between the 4 Xl and 6 pro speakers and camera especially, for those of us who are split on whether to upgrade or not, am sure your blunt and direct thoughts will clear things up. Thanks
So I wont promise, I'll get my hands on the 6 pro at the moment, but i will say this, based on my own Internet research: The camera is not exactly a generation better on the 6 pro compared to the 4, but close to. To the untrained eye, you won't notice too much of a difference, both take top tier pictures. Video tho, 6 pro seems to be a big improvement. When it comes to speakers, I'm afraid the 6 pro's might actually be a slight downgrade from what I've heard, and that's sad and really weird. But i guess google justifies this by comparing them to the pixel 5, which boasts extremely terrible speakers. Like goddamn they're bad. Other than that there are the obvious differences between the 4 and 6 pro. Coming from a 4 xl myself, to now a pixel 6 regular version. I miss the better speakers, a little bit better haptics and face unlock.. so think I should've gone pro and accepted the curved screen, in order to feel like i truly upgraded. That's unfortunately the reality of it. Great phone tho. Fingerprint sensor is now completely flawless for me. Face unlock still superior tho. I respect Apple for sticking to it. Hope this helps a little as a replacement for what u asked for haha.😉
@@techteo_yt Thanks for responding! I actually heard something similar about the speakers on another video so it must be true, and yes there's not a whole lot of difference between the images too so I guess I should stick with the 4xl for a year at least since I got it only 6 months ago and found it brand new after searching for more than a month.
i have used a pixel 6 pro for a month now and i gotta say my pixel 4 xl was great. had alot of issues with my device such as a stiff power button and a bad battery. but i still liked it for what it could do and i loved the design, on the back though.
I have a 4 XL and it's a fantastic phone. I'm also a pixel fan. I also like the Google integration. Software is simple and i like the look and feel of it. Haptics, display, design, camera and speakers are all excellent. Also, the volume buttons are so satisfying to press. They are so clicky lol I also agree with you on Samsung's skin. It's just too much. I love the minimalistic and stock feel of the pixel 4 XL.
Great vlog buddy. Have recently bought the Pixel 6 in Sorta Seafoam. Love the Google experience and it’s my first Pixel. I came very close to buying the 4xl back in the day but went for the 11 Pro Max instead. Question…..Have you slown the video down or is that your real voice 😉
@@techteo_yt agree. Curved screens are horrible. That's why I didn't go pro. Wish they'd gone matte glass on the back and kept the coloured accent buttons too.
I live in Denmark, and here facebooks messenger is pretty much the only messaging app, you can expect people to use. I really enjoy it tho; features like replying to specific messages work much cleaner than on iMessage.
Hi. I would personally buy the pixel 6 instead. Both good phones tho. Face unlock is quite nice, if there's one thing better on the 4 compared to the 6. But battery life feels twice as good on the 6 tho. Absolutely perfect.
I want more reviews from this deep voiced guy (pixel 6 perhaps?)... You speak to my minimalist, tech-obsessed heart.
Haha appreciate this comment. On it!

🤣 nah that's my real voce. It's deep i get that a lot, yes🤓
Rocking the 6 in seafoam rn too. So far pretty good. Considering the pro tho. Main thing keeping me away is the goddamn curved screen. Why?..
@@techteo_yt agree. Curved screens are horrible. That's why I didn't go pro. Wish they'd gone matte glass on the back and kept the coloured accent buttons too.
The buttons were shit compared to most other phones I've used but I've gotten used to it.
And the pixel experience is unbeatable!

Do you use iMessages? If not which messaging app do you use?

Just 40 subs? Man wtf

Is it okay for now 🤔
