Another great video man! Some great tips there, not centring the subject in the grid is something I’m guilty of, so definitely need to keep that in mind with future content. Struggling at the moment for content though as the UK has been put into ANOTHER lockdown, so it could be a while before my next proper shoot. I might just have to buy some more Lego to shoot in my garage to keep me busy haha!

Excellent video and I will definitely be using some of your tips/advice in the future! Also thank you for using one of my photos in the video...that is unreal! A little background behind the photo is that I almost did not capture it that day as I was freezing (32F aka freezing for me) and I wanted to go home. I ended up getting in my car, put it in reverse, and noticed a shadow of a building was starting to creep up on the ground. If I would wait 10 minutes the shadow (accentuated by the graduated filter) would make for a good composition. A you can tell I waited to capture the photo and it was the last one of the day, but turned out to be my favorite! Happy birthday Alex and best of luck ion 2021!

8:29 is where it’s at. I wish more creators would touch more on the curation. The how’s, the whys, the what’s ect. I look at my feed and I see it’s all over the place. There’s no theme, rhyme or rhythm to it. Just a bunch of different styles of photography that don’t quite fit although. Something I definitely need to get a handle on.

Any tips for a more repost focused account? I’m a terrible photographer so I’m trying to repost and credit those of you who can take the photos as well as some viral videos
It’s really hard for me. I love cars but I don’t get any to shoot so I end posting rarely if I do that. That’s not exactly productive when you wanna get a following. I think I wanna get a car of my own so I can use it for content when I don’t have another car to shoot but I’m far from doing any of that. Heck I’m still trying to get the gear I need to make UA-cam videos
I feel ya man! I struggle with the same stuff! I really wish I had a cool car to shoot all the time so I could make more videos. But for now gotta wait till life settles a bit more and got a bit more saved up =) everything happens in due time.

Great question. I’ve never done it personally, cuz... pretty much I’m not rich so I’m all organic. If you have money to blow and growing on Instagram is your goal then maybe? I’m enjoying the community I’ve got and it’s not my only focus so I don’t. Totally up to you if it’s worth the investment and what your purpose is behind the boost.

I really agree…. My work I post is different but the new algorithm just makes it impossible to grow. Sometimes I’ll go from 100-200 likes to sometimes 20-50. They just want you to promote your post so they can make money. I hate how greedy they have become. I remember how easy it was to grow years ago and now it’s just so hard.
I just started a car page of my car on ig and I almost have 100 likes on my first reel it’s not much but it’s way more then I got on the ones I did on my main account and I’m getting so giddy looking at everybody liking it
