How anyone can work with Mark is beyond me
I thought the same thing it would be like working for Boyd.
Knows his cars but that is his only positive trait. An obnoxious boob.
As a mechanic, this is the easiest work there is. R&R, remove and replace. No diagnosis, barely one step up from factory work. I'd just take his money, until I had enough of his gratuitous bullshit. Hopefully leaving him facing a deadline.
It’s all show, I think he makes it fun.
Stephen King chose the Fury for his book because he wanted a lesser known car at the time, and the Fury name sounded ominous. That's the extent of how accurate the story stayed to the Fury model. Remember, Christine was a fictional story. She was actually said to be a four-door Fury in the book. The movie car was very clearly a Belvedere for several reasons. Here's just a couple. First, the 1958 Fury was not available in red and could not be special ordered in that color, like the book claimed. Every Fury was beige with gold trim including a gold grill, and the wheel covers had gold centers. The trim is the most obvious sign that the movie car was in fact a Belvedere. Everything was chrome or silver - not gold. You could argue that someone painted a Fury red, but would they also replace every piece of gold trim, the grill, and the wheel covers with parts from a Belvedere too? No, they wouldn't. So basically, some non-car guys threw a Belvedere up on the screen and told everyone it was a Fury. Now if people with Christine cars tell people their car is actually a Belvedere and Christine was also a Belvedere, people will argue. They say no, Christine was a Fury, I saw the movie. So the people with Christine cars just end up saying they have a Fury to make everyone happy.
You sir, are correct!! But god is she a beautiful car non the less. Another fact is the fury cars had 150 mph speedometer instead of the Belvederes 120mph
@@anotherland2462 "Well duh" to you and me. The purpose of my comment was for those that can't seem to grasp that fact.
This is really late, but there's something people constantly get wrong about King and the book. You're right, the Fury doesn't come in red, and King knew that. I'm reading the book again right now and Lebay's brother outright says that Lebay had Christine painted red, not that she came red. In fact the only mention of the factory at all is that Lebay ordered and picked her up from the factory.
The movie is what shows her rolling off the line in red.
@@michaellawhun5941 You're right. I confused the movie reference with the book in my original comment.
Been a fan of this show for years.... absolutely love these Mopars ....👍
I love the fact that Darren is gone! That dude was poison!
For sure, Darren sucks !
Agreed
yeah i dunno
the show is 100 times lamer without him
@@buzzshavinutts2349 two negative and distracting for that team
He was a cancer on the show.
My brother worked on the original Movie and it was his very first. He still works today on Movie sets all over the US and sometimes in other Countries, amazing memories!!!
Please for God's sake somebody tell Mark Worman he is not funny
He's not funny he insults everyone trying to be funny and he runs around trying to look like he's the man .
Mark Worman makes it very hard to watch Graveyard cars, that's for sure!
I hope we can replace Mark next....
Fr tho, he's such a tool
Christine is still one of the most beautiful cars ever built then lines and chrome are just to die for
At 16 years of age I owned a 1957 Plymouth Savoy .. almost identical to Christine EXCEPT .. no chrome, NO OPTIONS at all really, a flat-head six, 3 speed on the column, and as naked a car as there could ever be. Loved it. I wish I still had it; not for the resale value, but rather for the fun. She was a great car (but more a buckboard than a car). Her name was 'Mabel'. RIP Mabel. I miss you.
That paint guy lost some weight and cut his hair. Hardy knew who it was.
If I had enough money to restore a Chrysler,Mopar or Plymouth that would be where it would be done at.Graveyard Cars is one of the best I've ever seen. What sold me was when he even used specific bolts not just any old bolts but the Correct bolts that's going the extra mile for sure
Have had bosses like Mark... I would eventually have to leave..jeez 🙄
Christine looks cool with the tinted windows
I can’t believe how perfect Christine is. She’s perfect.
@Sayten Vacscene see the movie and you'll know.
I understand Arnie's love for his gorgeous automobile. I have had mine since September 1996. The Stargazer is forever mine. I will always love her.
Christine certainly makes an entrance ❤ stunning car.
I came here for Christine.
Love this plymouth, especially the fins!!!
That's a 1958 Plymouth Fury. In it's red and white paint job and blackend windows, it became the famous star car from the 1983 horror movie, Christine.
All of that primer dust you blew off that deck lid into the atmosphere of the shop and everything in the shop, I have found over the years that just a clean soft horse hair shop hand brush and a dust pan can save so much time and having other things coated with that same dust. Just food for thought is all.
I always get a good laugh out of Mark Wormans antics, he cracks me up
I think he ticks everyone off you can see they all hate him .
I have met Mr. Gibson and Christine in person in Pensacola, very nice gentleman and a true car guy. The build date on this car from Chrysler records was very interesting. Christine looks amazing and details are there. Nice to see them both here.
What about the build date? I'll bite.
@@eefneleman9564 October 31st, he has letter from Chrysler showing the information. Seems fitting for this car.
WOW! I didn't know that Christine can talk!😮
She's evil, gorgeous and supernatural 🌟
Guess she's similar to having speech just like K.I.T.T. from Night Rider 😊
I tell ya, when I heard her say "Of course you did" I got the fright of me bloody life and said "she can talk?!"
Well she does. She uses her radio to commit speech.
@@gojifan7976 Christine does speak as we do 🙂
Met her a few months ago 😊
She said she loves my red hair ☺️
As well as she loves redheads 💝
@@user-ii4hr2mt6o oh. I actually didn’t know that.
@@gojifan7976 it was a great little visit with Bill Gibson and Christine ☺️
I think she was nice because I gave her a lot of compliments 😊
I assured her of how gorgeous she is 🌺
As well as how I enjoy her novel and her movie 😁
I would reinforce the cabin, doors, roof, posts, side panels, and install safety steering system, ABS, and air bags to make 5 star rated restored classics. New category: safety customized classic cars that will outrun any modern defective vehicle. Thanks.
One of the most famous automobiles in the world !
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people asking them!
Alyssa is SO easy on the eyes. I bet her mother is a looker too.
The problem with being with Alyssa would be getting along with the in-laws (or at least the father in-law)
Thank God she left that tool Josh. He was the worst!
The Christine car is awesome . There is one of these cars in Australia in the small town I'm from , original condition very very well looked after .
I saw a guy in Mchenry Ill. I chased him all the way to a wal mart. I ask him to restore it back the he had Forty thousand to re do it. my car was a fury. thanks guys for the show. just an old man thinking of his memories. and there was one just like mine with the gold strip in the parking lot.
I love that movie . And the car
I couldn't imagine working at a shop that tells me where l'm taking my lunch. Crunch time or not my life wouldn't revolve around someone else's ego. Good looking video cars but really...
I thought he was gonna call him chrome dome!
WILL I WAS HELD BACK A YEAR TOO LMAO GREAT OLDIE
From Australia. I had one of those "Christine" cars, way back However I found that there was a huge amount of body movement. So much so that the front doors used to clash with the front of the rear door and chip the paint off. Also the rear window would shake in its frame which made a load nasty noise. If i had one today I would get an Art Morrison chassis for it.
The real CHRISTINE from the movie is at the PETERSEN MUSEUM in Los Angeles, California.
There were multiple cars used to film the movie. There isn't just one "real" Christine car.
37:43 Man must have a death wish standing directly in front of her like that lol
That's hilarious! Yass
What a show what a movie the two are perfect together
Years ago I got to see one of these cars up close. It was at Doc's Harley Shop in Wisconsin. He had his own special car museum and had one of these. My first thought was "this car is frickin' tiny!" :P
This car is not a 1958 Plymouth Fury. It is a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere. The 1958 Plymouth Fury was only one color. It was a Light brown tan with lots of gold trim.
Your daughter looks like Lisa Marie Presley.
Hey Bill Gibson, Panama City Beach is just a short drive from Pensacola, you should bring Christine to the Emerald Coast Cruzin car show that happens here twice a year! Christine would definitely be the star of the show!
Great vid!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Time for christine TO SHOUT AT THE DEVIL WITH MOTLEY CRUE!
My friend had a 58 Fury, 2-4s, 3 on the tree, for that year it really kicked ass, I should have bought it,
it was beige with the gold anodized side trim, cool ass car. It looks better in red than beige though.
Nice Plymouth belveder clean nice 2 see.had a friend that had a 60 fury I think the lines were cleaner than the 58. But the fins were larger than caddie fins of 59. Huge clean fins 58 n 60 plys somewhat both same body style but not . 👍

Christine: Hello, boys.
At 4:37 wtf? Handsignals? Running around flapping with everything you got, trying to tell something? Lol 😂
I love the tint but in my state they never let you get away with how dark it is.
And a good body man and painter Will is one of the best
So I’ve wondered 50 years from now are people going to be able to discern the originals from the cars that this guy restored?
Very enjoyable Vid, Liked
I wish I can drive a 1958 Plymouth fury but first getting a driver license.🌟
I worked for a custom- restoration shop. Theres only one guy here making any money. Thats the way this buisness works.
Yes Darren was for sure poison

What a great car geezzuzz love this show
🤦Why rebuild it and spend all that money and all that time and then go with drum brakes?🤷
Factree
This is driving me nuts. What the hell is the deal with the silver hinges???!???!!! If I remember correctly, door hinges were almost always body color, or same color as the freaking car they were installed on.
I like the charger I'm a big fan off classic muscle cars
58 fury no white roof all buckskin beige
Yeah they never offered those Fury’s in red. I THINK they also offered them in black but am not positive
No black only buckskin beige
,, Christine is possibly my favourite TV car ❤,, 35:55
One of the Belvederes used in the movie. Christine was actually a Fury. It has the gold trim.
The real Michael Scott.
That’s sick!😎
I love that car! And that movie!
Mark can be harsh sometimes, but you have to understand, it's his business and his reputation on the line and loves perfection.
I'm sure his employees are being good money to work with him or they wouldn't be there.
Hang in there guys and Mark take easy on the guys, they know what there doing or else they would be working with you.
Maybe so, but his ego is too big for his head. Even if he pays well, talent doesn't have to "come crawling" to beg him for a job. For me, it started with the "Prodigal Son" story, as if his boy came back as a beggar, when in fact Mark contacted him, he agreed, and Mark sees himself as the winner. It would be one thing, if he gave credit where it was due, but like Henry Ford, and Thomas Edison, he claims all glory for whatever happens under his roof, and blame shifts anything that goes wrong. A poor leader, and no role model. He will not be missed, when his time comes.
Christine is such a cool movie.
superbe émission instructive est quelle équipe
Sweet Christine movie poster..it's hard to find those..
The hand signals remind me of Alaska Bush People.
What a Beauty! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
My top 3 car wish list.
1958 Plymouth Fury
1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird
1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda
I always wondered whatever happened to all the other Plymouth furys that was on the assembly line in the factory..
If this is graveyard cars will George Stibs fury be there he did lose his head in the back seat in Stephen King's other movie riding the bullet.....
Love it.
wow my fav car and loved the film
"...the one and only demon-possessed 'Christine'"? No. In the movie she was just "born bad". In the book she was being driven by the ghost of Roland D. LeBay, the guy Arnie had bought her from. He died shortly after the sale. In the movie, the character was Roland, but they called him George who was Rollie's out of town brother in the book. I love the car, but if you've only seen the movie and never read the book, READ THE DAMNED BOOK. Otherwise you are not a true fan.
Best in the Mopar Business
I absolutely love old Mopar cars and Christine definitely was a treat, but unfortunately these guys are kind of dull and boring. I'm way more entertained when I watch Counting Cars.
The Christine car is total awesomeness. Be cool to have it at my sons Birthday.
It might show up,it may be on fire though😂 Happy Birthday to your son.
If I ever win the lottery that’s my first car I buy 😊
My first Go-kart got named Christine
Yeah these was the days
I could my first car after this film,it was the best looking car I had ever seen.😜😜
Idk if I’m dreaming or what but am I seeing a real talking Plymouth rnw
It is a beautiful car, Christine, but there's no way he drives it more than a mile in FL before getting popped for massively illegal tint.
this is a beautiful plymouth. There was not that many that cqme off the line. My first car was a 1958 plymouth. three eighteen with a two barrel, bust it had a gold stripe down the side. I paid all of four hundred dollars. I thought Christine was a 1957 plymouth. I saw my first car in this.
3 minutes in and i would never have them work on my stuff.....sanding with your finger tips on a flat panel.
35:57 the real moment most of us clicked to see
Call the hospital guys in white with the van for a 24 observation on him. For his own good.Very unbalanced.
I've been to the Chrysler-Plymouth plant in Belvedere,Ill
I wish you could bring this car back.

@First name Last name
Who's Alexa?
Boy if this wasn't clickbait
Does that have a push-button transmission?I understand many Plymouths did
Beautiful
I could care less about certain paint spots on my car just get it done
I love her the car. Hell yes.
