- I will be going through different STUDIO LIGHTING AND PHOTOGRAPHY setups and scenarios with my Canon EOS 6D, the SIGMA 85mm 1.4 lens and our model Julee. This video is a VLOG style BTS and it's a new technique I want to try out so please let me know in the comments if you find this style helpful.
I will be shooting with the Canon EOS 6D and the Sigma 85mm 1.4 ART lens. I will be using my FOTODIOX octabox and parabolic in this session.

I think the last lighting setup, with the parabolic came out the best. It had a softer touch and more finesse compared to the octabox, although the octabox still looked good. Good tip on angling it away to where the edge only lights the subject and avoid spillage to the background.

Thanks a lot for this. I used to think color gels were for just lighting models, now I know I can also change background colors too cause seamless backdrops are quite expensive and difficult to maintain 😊 Btw Kuku told me bout your channel.

+Obraniak Design settings will always vary. You just have to know the light scenario you’re either facing or creating and then adjust your settings to get what’s best in the moment

Love your work sir ..I want to ask some few question sir..I use canon 5d mark 111.but am still finding to set my camera .all the setting I don't know if u can help out sir seen u are a canon shooter .thanks sir. Brivic_studio
+bright osagie the best thing would be to read your manual for the basic settings. Otherwise please try to experiment. I’ll still find a way to do a basic camera setup video
culd u posssibly get the same look with a 1.8 g
+shutter phactory you certainly can. I’m not really shooting shakloand even if I was, 1.8 is open enough to create this look.
Did you ever have to calibrate your sigma 85mm
No I have never had to. I was missing focus on my 6d but that was a problem from the camera itself. When i switched to the EOS R and now the 5d mk 4, its tack sharp. I didn't do any calibration
I’ve never calibrated it since I got it. Now that I’m using a mirrorless body I feel there’s no need to calibrate even...
How much was kelvin you used ?

I see where you were going sir, to get the projection of the gobo you made... I recommend making bigger patterns....are buy the ones from magmod…. next to prevent spill of light you will need a vflat for these large size softboxes…..I recommend a beauty dish because its smaller and it will cover what you want in the subject here... the idea would be to put the gobox and speedlight setup behind the vflat...shielding you away from the spill of your modifier and also use honeycomb grid to focus the beam of light on your subject control light spill the name of the game here....hopefully I was helpful...good effort … check this out my brother ua-cam.com/video/MMp0DKZos0I/v-deo.html&feature=emb_logo buy here:www.shadowfoils.com
