Albert these look absolutely delicious ❤️ is there a substitute you could use instead of the cheese? I don't have dairy but would like to try this recipe so can something else be used?
You can substitute the cheese for 1-2 tbsp of cornstarch, just to help all the ingredients stay together, would make these vegan :) much love

One of the most preferred pies in Greece is spinach pie. So let me advise, vegan friends. Instead of cheese you can use rice. Rissoto rice. Mix it with the other ingredients as in this recipe. You'll have a great result.

Is that a traditional filling? What other kinds are traditional in Spain? Here in Miami our empanadas are a bit different.
Yes this is kinda a traditional filling here, with my own touch, we have so many empanadas here it is hard to tell you all of them, but the origin of empanadas does come for the north of Spain
