Those hooks won't stand a chance against a decent stripy. I'd go with 9/0-10/0 mustad tuna hooks with stiffrig 600lbs cable in your lures, not 80lbs floro. Also the gear is a bit light, use that Penn 50 thats sitting in the rocket! I guess the best way to learn is to be on the water and experience though.
