How important is it to switch out your ballyhoos during trolling? How often do you switch them out?
Generally every 3-4 hours Jonathan. They certainly do “wash out” over the course of the day.
What pound test on the leader? Mono or Fluro? And how long of a leader
Do y’all plan on installing a Seakeeper on Speechless in the off-season?
It has been a conversation for sure. Access to the engine room (sea keeper is larger than door space)is a problem, but we’d love to have one.
Do y’all ever take speechless back to reedville?
We don’t anticipate taking it back at this point. Hopefully, she’ll stay busy in the OBX (and future tournaments) for a long time.
what speed is the boat doing?
6 to 7 knots normally depending on current and direction
