You know this is MBT's first time playing in a Gorz format because he's not attacking directly with lowest attack first. My Gorz PTSD is so bad that today I still attack in open board states with lowest attack first.

All the WC DS games used a lot of the same music. I have never played 2008, but I can assure you this music is also in 2009-2011, likely here because of the year Edison is.

Why is it good?
@@amauryrey1193 It's basically a low commitment but surefire way to absolutely OTK your opponent in most circumstances, and I believe this was before they ruled that you can't pull the trick off with only 1 copy of Colossal Fighter.
The OTK is of course summon Armory Arm and Colossal Fighter to your field while your opponent has an Attack Position monster that will be stronger than Colossal Fighter after you equip Armory Arm that opponent's monster. You ram and revive Colossal Fighter into your opponent's monster equipped with Armory Arm repeatedly and your opponent takes the effect damage from Armory Arm equal to Colossal Fighter's attack every time it's destroyed by battle.

Not sure which is more painful, the Gilman draws or when MBT misses lethal from Upstart-gifted Lifepoints.
It kind of validates why very few decks played it for so long, not many decks could get you on a clock from 11k at this time, everything is pretty small relatively speaking

I feel like plaguespreader would be a cool card to have in your deck. You can send it through Armageddon knight or foolish.
It's particularly good for MBT because he's so good at drawing Gilman.
Since you love Edison, I'd also recommend checking out the contemporary Tengu Plant format scene. It's the September 2011 banlist, but pre-Photon Shockwave. There's a lot of interesting diversity in that format as well.

I might have the time period wrong, but I also used manju, dark grepher, and djin releaser alongside relinquished. Using manjus let me drop BLS alongside veilers, but man do I wish I could remember my entire list.

This list is a bit weak tbh. You should probably add a plague + grepher to get more consistency with mali plays. Also DAD is pretty solid in this deck with those additions.
