florabama Belle I’ve not heard of any issues around magazines at the checkouts. Would you explain why they should be covered? I am respectfully requesting your point of view.
@@Mark_from_IT Several customers will come in, and at the checkout, see a magazine with a cover that reads "7 Sex Tips to Drive Him Wild" or something like that. Their children see this magazine and ask "Mommy, what's sex?" So instead of telling their children about such things they'd rather cover it up.
I worked there for years, so this doesn’t surprise me in the least. I remember watching a deli clerk drop a batch of fried chicken on the floor, and put it back in the case. Some workers just don’t care.
Anyone remember how Adam Putnam (at the time Agriculture Commissioner for the State of Florida, his department oversees health inspections at food establishments) removed these failing results from public record and 2 years later, Publix made huge donations to his campaign for governor?
I remember years ago that dairy/ meat/ deli trucks would come in and sit in the backroom for hours. The deli was always too busy for them to pick up their stuff so it just sat there.
@@damanmoneysaver not exactly they are VEARY strict as to what happens in their stores. I can almost guarantee that several store managers where fired on the spot
@@andrewv7417 If they were strict or their hired health and safety organization was as good as osha and fda surprise inspections this would not have happened.
The thing is most of the workers aren't cut out. But most of the customers expect a person that kisses your but. And it's not common that a good worker can or does have time for that. It's just the facts of life say what you like. And very much so if fda did rapid surprise inspection without alerting management and osha actually investigated with surprise inspection instead of accepting they hire and have there own inspections. They would find many publix facilities in busy areas are going against osha safety practices and fda rules and recommendations. I know if you bring up matters of safety and inspections or sorts to workers and locals in the st. Petersburg area the people mock and laugh as if they are immune to repercussions of unsafe behaviors and safe food practices of osha and fda. They will all literally laugh at you . You should go into some pinellas county publix store right now they have huge culminating groups of people inside stores not respecting the 6 foot rule yet cdc noticed say otherwise of what they have happening in stores. The 6 ft rule does not exist inside while shopping. Only barely at the Register. Personally the shock and thumbs down in your comment section is probably from management and workers that drink the cool aid. I've noticed they have about a 4.5 google review at nearly every location and I've watched reviews get removed. The company is great at bullshizing and covering up any negative publicity. It's all business tactics they group up and team on how to handle you with the company mission statements. You would have to go undercover get fda and osha involved and not let them be aware your there to really get to the root. The thing is it's hard labor to run stores. And if your that like the ones in comercials you most likely aren't doing that much. Or you haven't been in it that long. I'd say a lot lies below the surface here though. Your just barely scratching the surface. Not many truly honest people out there anymore unfortunately. God report though. Totally agree and enjoy.
Got news for ya, folks. All supermarket chains have these issues from time to time. You just don't hear about it.
does not matter publix should not be compared to other chains if they did that they would not be PQFR
1:29 Generic statement is generic.
protest publix - not only this but make then put covers on all magazines at chechout

Mark Ulrich Jr I think he was trying to say that if they protested Publix he would want the magazine titles to read “protest at Publix”
