- An employee of a Lauderhill catering business sent Local 10 News a photo of a dead rat inside the kitchen area, and the next day the business was temporarily ordered shut by an inspector.

Disgusting. Also beware those self serve salsa bars at Mexican restaurants. I've seen many times customers serve themselves salsa and lick their fingers and then serve some more salsa grabbing the spoon with the fingers they licked.
More and more I’m glad I don’t HAVE to eat in restaurants. Can’t wait until all our meals are prepared by us at home. This is beyond disgusting. Keep exposing them!
So, the food you buy that comes in a can or bottles from somewhere else, do you think that they are exempt from having roaches and rats or there locations are in places that these things will not survive

You'd be surprised. I literally got fired from a restaurant for "washing my hands too much." After handling raw meats.

Remind me not to eat at restaurants the next time I'm in Florida. As far as the chicken next to the dumpster, if they're throwing it out, there's no requirement to keep it in a refrigerator. That part of the report is incomplete, since you didn't determine whether it was being disposed of or not. If not, then it's disgusting.

I've been to that restaurant and is very dark. She was definitely going to serve that food has she not been caught and chances are that's not the first time they put food back there not to mention the ground is filthy so that's what a lot of foodborne pathogens begin they should not be allowed to reopen at all because they're going to do the same thing again
When you see its dirty around the restaurant it tells you they also don't keep clean inside. They can scrub the area around the dumpster and even spray it with anti fly chemicals

They should hire people for cleaning and maintain food and equipment and supplies safe and clean. All restaurants have mice in an area and restaurants, where used live rats, are big like cats running on the street

That is the truth. A lot of these side restaurants that we think are good food they usually have a lot of violations and bacteria and pathogens and they're just plain disgusting but nobody sees it up front

Exactly, they wash hands less because they think the gloves are magic. It's better to wash your hands multiple times than wear gloves. During the pandemic I was working part time at fast food restaurant, and a doctor came in and insisted the person who was making his burger wear gloves, even though it was something we don't normally do. I was like this fool is in the medical field and don't know that gloves doesn't prevent cross contamination smh

A few years ago, I was taking the bus from Michigan to Virginia. I had to get off the bus in Richmond temporarily because the bus was being serviced(cleaning, refueling, etc.). I was eating in the cafeteria at the Richmond bus station when I and other customers noticed mice running through the cafeteria. I told the manager, but she didn't care. I called the manager's supervisor and left a message; that person was not available. So I filed a complaint to Greyhound as soon as I got home. Greyhound said they would investigate the matter..
Greyhound: “We’ve completed a thorough investigation of ourselves, and we’ve found that we did nothing wrong.”

I'm a master chef and i've worked in restaurants and i've Monday. I can tell anybody tell your friend to tell everybody you know. If you go to a restaurant, the place source place you should check is the restroom if it's not clean, and there's a lot of things, and then they make a smell good. Don't eat there most of the restaurants. They make your coffee, but the coffee pot, which is glass. S not a pot, it's usually known when you wash a glass at sparkle. S, these containers are brown. And that means they haven't been cleaned at a real long time check the bathroom😊

To be fair..sometimes you have to know the situation...like we forget the behavior of rats and mice. Mice are more prevalent but rats are more of an infestation sign. Mice tend to relocate when buildings are demolished. Restaurants all have pest control, so don't be surprised if anything works.
So 1 "rodent" ehhh more than 1 present..no excuses. But I just want to be clear on Mice vs rats not being nearly the same habits
