Norma Jean has started doing mash ups like these on their tours to play pieces of a bunch of old songs quickly. You guys have the back catalog to do the same, it's such a crowd pleaser. Just hearing a favorite riff from an old song will make someone's night.
I want to thank you for these awesome everyday comments! More medleys coming soon! If you have any questions message my facebook page! Have a nice day!
Memorizing all of those breakdowns and playing it in one take is nuts dude. The breakdown patterns with the changing tempo is the hardest part honestly. Well done with arranging the songs too. 8 years later and this still holds up.
This is currently my favorite video on the Internet. Outstanding job - you sounded so much like the studio version I actually thought it was fake at some parts. I loved the faces too hahaha
If you want good guitar bands to listen to i advise listening to Phinehas. Doesn't matter if you play guitar, drums, bass, or just sing. THEY HAVE IT ALL!!
just watching this now and all i can say is GOOD JOB!!!! SBR has some of the most technical riffs I ever heard and you nailed them all! good job once again! :)
Would be so keen to hear this updated with their new stuff man. Rescue and Restore was rich with killer riffs. I can only imagine their new album will be the same. Solid work though brah, keep it up :)
I freaking love this idea! Great transitions and you picked just about all my favorite parts from the songs. Almost inspires me to do something similar on the drums, except I'm not nearly at Matt's level.
WOW, cca. the first video on youtube, where the guitarist's left hand doesn't seem like he is grabbing a baseball bat. Congrats sir, great vid, great technique!
Dude this video is sick I like it I'm personally a drummer matts drumming sometimes just gets me but like I can't imagine jb "flip flop master" burbaker dude mad props awesome vid
Hey man, JB from August Burns Red here. This is rad. Can't imagine how long it took you to put together. You did great!
Actually not. That is actually his official channel.
@@ThatBeTheQuestion is it really? I remember meeting JB when I was 12 now im 20. One of the best days of my life so far
YOOOO JB

The level of fakeness
Idk how JB Brubaker makes 5 albums out of the same fucking scale and manages to make each song unique ... God bless
chris b He switches scales on a few songs
+chris b just curious, but what scale does he use? :p
thanks :D
mainly natural c minor with some harmonic c minor mixed in I think
@@justinfeldermusicthey change it up when they start using drop b tunings on there 2013 onward albums and sometimes plop in the major scale
The transition from composure to the eleventh hour has to be the sickest thing ever .

Polo WeaK
Don't know about you but Seventh Trumpet's breakdown after "and the stars begin to fall" is soooo sick!
Dude that's my favorite part of any song I've ever heard. Just ridiculous
It's all about the placement of the snare hits at that part...
As a guitarist and ABR fan, I think I might just have found myself a new crush.
I love the break down of all the songs, this is sick. You should have a MILLIONS VIEWS. Let's help him guys...
