Mike Le Rossetti This is amazing. I can put this on as background for anything and it will amplify it.
Dylan Hite Yeah, this came on while I was taking a shit and it really helped move things along.
Mike Le Rossetti make another great music bro, keep it up.
Mike Le Rossetti En Que afinación esta?
Mike Le Rossetti So, seems like the Agile guitars are worth the bucks, right?
How did my entire youtube auto-playlist end up in one song. This is amazing.
The djent gods smiled upon you, take it in stride haha
I did NOT expect to see you here!
An exceptional youtube channel commenting under an exceptional metal composition.
God exists.
HE JUST MADE A NEW VIDEO!!!
Oh yeah man this dude is amazing I’ve been jamming this song for several years it doesn’t get old
Insanely cool! Never heard anything like this.
he sure is a djentleman, isn't he?! Sorry for the bad djoke.
+Filipe Silva some much puns im djenting xD
Be djentle with the puns guys
Animals as leaders
+Boyinaband nobody gives about your verified status
I commented on this video 3 years ago..... I commented on this video 2 years ago... and now I'm back again to say, PLEASE MAKE A FULL ALBUM OF THIS!!!!!!
Here I am a year later agreeing
See you next year :)
Check out 12 Foot Ninja if you haven't already. It's a djent band with a jazz funk fusion twist.
FULL ALBUM FULL ALBUM!!!
Guys we need to make some petition on the changeorg
Oh yes, please.
Honestly one of the best songs ever.
Really don't understand how someone couldn't enjoy these sounds.
When someone says they like all kinds of music
kek
Richey Stanley
it doesn't have any country though. ;.;
ludwigkid08
Don't you DARE piss on Johnny Cash's grave.
._.
ludwigkid08
And I also equate your country to trash.
I'd recommend learning respect.
Good day, Good sir.
But really only 3 variations of one kind of music.
This genre needs a one syllable name. I'm thinking "djank".
Greg Jonson Djank you
Pensei em "DjaFank"
Ou "Djafunk"
That sounds like a weird new porn category
Great genre name. The album can be called "Funk me Djently."
I've been jamming this song off, and on for 5 years now. It will never get old. It fact it'll age like fine wine.
It keeps getting better, my dude
Right there with ya. Had this in my playlist for some time now
Thanks man!
@@mikelerossetimusic Indeed.
@@ruleroftheundersky570 Been Listening to it since it released when I was 14. Now I'm 21 and it still keeps inspiring me to keep playing guitar
THIS is how you fully utilize an 8 string guitar to its potential...
I don't think this is a "normal" 8-string guitar though (strings are not the usual).
i think that is a bass with strings piccolo
Arturo Borja Its an Aglie 8 string guitar, using standard tuning with the exception of the lowest string dropped to E.
oh, thanks i didnt know about that guitar
Arturo Borja The lowest dropped tuning still practical lol
muchas gracias a todos por el apoyo! el ep y camiseta ya es mas dificil... tendria q plantearme lo de grabar un ep quizas...
eres de españa no¡¡¡¡???
sí, es de españa, acaba de decir "espero que OS guste" :P
Fenomenal!.... y esa vista, wow!!
Mike Le Rossetti Te gusto Agile??? Bien ??
Need more please! This is some of the best guitar ive ever heard
Easily one of the best pieces of music ever written, absolutely amazing. Been listening to this for years and years and still as awesome as the first time I heard it.
Every now and then I come back to this video. This could very easily have been my first encounter with the genre. Blew me away. Still does. As someone who loves djent, jazz, and funk...this will always be a favorite. My songs are still influenced by this style off heavy music.
thanks peter, very kind words! all the best!
Wish this dude made a solo album. He'd become known like Animals As Leaders and Polyphia.
For real...I'm almost tempted to make a kickstarter/gofundme page for him lol
First time seeing this guy today. AMAZING
FusRoDatAss
Hahahaha...Comparing this clown to Tosin is like comparing a really good middle school basketball player to Steph Curry. Different worlds entirely.
Bryce Walburn tosin is good but even with all the complex music he makes its kind of flat. Not key wise just music wise. I'm impressed with his knowledge, less impressed with his music
Thank you very much for your comments, subscribes and support around the world!!! I didn't expect that! I didn't expect more than1500 views! Lol
Come on, this is pure genius! You deserve a whole lot more views. Keep up the great work! :D
I can't stop listening to this. It's great.
Thank a special music discussion group on Facebook.

"Does it Djent?"
Yes. It does. And Funk. And Jazz.
malacelo Nope, just djent
From Death To Rebirth its a refrence to jared dines
Does everything have to.
Yes it Djazz.
Djent doesn't need vocals. It's onamonapia for palm muting with technically progressive rudiments in rhythmic cadence.
Also, Marcelo, this song should be called "Funk me djently." Because it did. xD
Over the years I have come back to this every so often to get inspiration. Such a great track.

ROTFLMAO... Are you kidding me right now? I woke up this morning thinking to myself that I was actually getting pretty good on the guitar. Full of my own greatness I made a cup of coffee, sat down at my computer, pulled up UA-cam and stumbled upon this guy. With SoOoOo much crap to choose from, I can do nothing but smile as I listen to this. AMAZING! God put his hand upon this guitar Jedi.

MarkThomasMusic I thought I was doing pretty good too.
I find this so crazy. Dude drops this crazy track with a well produced video in an incredibly picturesque location, gets like 3 million views, and then just dips. Gone. No activity in years!

The best dont need to prove themselves.
Finally someone who had enough sense to buy a guitar with all 8 strings on it
And actually play all 8 strings.
+Jonathan Peng And what about Rob scallon...?
4 years later and I'm still coming back to this at least once a month for a listen. One of the best Solo's I've ever heard.
he's just made a new video! go check it he is going to release an ep
you missed the opportunity to call it "Djazz Funk"
That could be his sequel if he decides to do one!
Djunkzz?
Haha but the 'D' is silent
Ashoka Prem You wouldn't have to pronounce it any different, but just for the sake of having a funny title.
Funk me djently
I’m back for my fourth annual “please make a full album of this” comment! If you don’t release an album of this by the end of this year, I will see you in April of 2021!! (Assuming coronavirus has not ended humanity by then 😞 stay safe all)

Dude look like Seth Rollins twin
I come back and watch this so often as well.
You know we need a complete album of songs like this one.
This song was truly ahead of it's time. First time hearing it and holy shit... amazing
Really really like it but have to mention that there is the band vitalism every song of which has that cool contrast of very rhythmic, shredy and latina music on clean parts so if someone likes this I really suggest you to check out vitalism
Then the whammy bar, because the 8th string isn't low enough already lol. Love it
Upon seeing the title, I wasn't sure if I would actually hear three distinct genres, but rather one big mashup that sounded and was influenced by jazz and funk but is actually just djent. But I got the complete opposite; this guy took pure jazz, funk, and djent and layered them all separately in a brilliant and well executed masterpiece!! Hat's off to you!
Zach Miner thanks for support zach! nice words! hope you share and subscribe
The weak, beta “I listen to everything”
vs.
The chad “I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING”
The way the camera captures the way the strings vibrate is almost as good as the song
This was absolutely OUTSTANDING! I was totally digging that funk. This is the best example of these three styles mixed together that I've heard yet. More!
Thanks Felipe!! Happy you like it! Hope you share! Thanks again!
Takes brains to create it !!!! ...thanks to you... for your amazing imagination and talent to mix them up....really sound great !!!

Indudablemente, muy original.
I am obsessed with the sound of this song. I love listening to the song once every single day 7 days a week. it opened my eyes to new avenues of approach with my 8 string. thank you
This never gets old out of the 23423532 times that ive seen it...only better...

I've looked high and low for something even remotely close to being this good, nothing yet. Great job and please make more!!!!!
Okay, I was TODAY years old when I even heard of this genre of music (djent).
This has (musically speaking) been the most awesome day for me.
And I'll add one more "Where's the album duder?"
Been listening to this for almost 6 years. Such a jam man. Its my "go to" to show off my hifi system. lol
Really cool tune. Be cool to hear the bass parts done with an actual bass but is wicked to see an 8 string used in such a way.
Danny Bailey Really? I absolutely adore the bass tone he got out of the guitar.
Bill Alone I agree with you its fantastic. More people need to play 8s like this rather than thinking they're just djent planks.
2:52 I don't know what's happening here but it's taking me places and I love it!
This seriously became one of my favorite songs instantly
I love Tosin Abasi too. This is a great song. Much appreciated. Cheers from Alaska!
2019 still my favorite djazz
It was so fun watching the strings waver and bend. =D
We need more people mixing these styles because this is amazing.
I always come back to this when i want to relax on youtube! thanks for your great talent and music! please make more like this!
I hardly ever comment, but I had to let you know that this is the most creative composition I've ever heard. I would LOVE to buy your music if you had an album or something on itunes.

Definitely what I aspire to attain with my guitar. You're an inspiration man! 🤘
fantastic. i usually cant stomach more than a minute before getting bored. but u have all the elements to draw the listener in. even better with repeated listens. u seamlessly blend technical with musicality. bravo. i too am waiting for an lp,
something so satisfying about watching how the strings vibrate
yees
It's an awesome trick caused by the low frame rate that cameras shoot at. They can't keep up with the vibrations, so they make an interesting wave.
its been 4 years and still keep coming here
OMG THIS IS AMAZING!! HOW AM I JUST NOW SEEING THIS???! Wow!!
Begging for an album drop and more of this amazing work! I can put this song on repeat and get lost in it for hours!

yes! im in it!
Mike Le Rossetti I'm ready to buy it. Just tell me where to go!
Mike Le Rossetti Yeah, I'm with James! I will throw my money at you dude! Haha
I would love to buy an album of that. Tell me what to buy
Weeaboo Destroyer Your name is amazing hahaha. Do you watch Filthy Frank by any chance?
This song is so good and this guy is so talented that it depresses me because I know that I will never in my life be half as good at anything I ever try as this guy is playing that guitar.
you could be twice this good. you just gotta stay on the grind and keep at it no matter how slow the progress seems. I'm absolute crap compared to this guy and most guitarists that are considered halfway decent, but I can tell you that I'm twice as good as I was a year ago. Just keep up the hard work and you'll make it.
Git gud m8.
Whether you think you will be really good at something......or you think you can never be good at something....... Either way, you are 100% right!!! Really think about that!!!
World Known practice man. That's what I thought when I first heard this and than I was like aw fuck that noise! Went and got my self an 8 string ( never played one in my life. In fact I've played mostly acoustic my whole life) and just sat down and started practicing every day for hours after work. My wife got pissed but well... music is my life. She'll get over it 😬
Just keep having fun with it. That's all that matters.
Damn! You're better than Tosin abasi. I always thought that tosin was the best but you're like on another level.
Please trust me he is 100 Times better t'han me 😉
+Dallas Green Yeah dude Tosin is better anytime. But Mike sure did a great job! :)
+Mike Le Rossetti it's not about "being better or worse than such and such idol" but about doing something with whatever skill level you're at, and you're not only at a high level but also doing something cool with your skills and sharing with the people. Nice use of the andalusian cadence by the way
+Nijs Tim Idk i just like mike's style. mybe tosin is so good that every riff looks so complicated.
+Dallas Green Tosin is amazing but what he does is "harder" to appreciate for most people. Which is fine, cause I'm willing to admit that the amount of time signatures, keys and modes are excessive even to me at times. So I understand it if you think would this guy is better, cause it's easier to appreciate the skill (which is awesome).
Still one of the best guitar videos to date
4:53 No, don't you dare to stop! ... 4:54 I hope, this is just a breakdown and.. 4:55 (looking at the duration of the clip and the current timestamp) F*CK this is really going to end :( Noooooohoooooooohooooooooo.
I really enjoyed you're piece of art. Well put together. Honestly I came here for the "harder" parts but the Jazz and Funk elements were enjoyable, too. Nice work. :)

I'll be honest, 6 years ago when I listened to this, I was kind of on the fence about what Djent was about but as soon as I listened to this it kind of hooked me in. I kind of knew what it was about but I just thought it was a fad until I kept searching and I found more artist behind this 'movement' and I haven't stopped searching since

His badass manly beard is the source of his abilities
Djent usually bores me because of its sometimes lack of complexity. You have what others don't. The ability to create good music.
+George Weigle You're not listening the the right Djent. Listen to Erra or hell, even Periphery.
+Skylark No please dont say that.
Say what? Periphery? There's nothing wrong with them.
Skylark Ah, don't want to argue. Whatever XD
+George Weigle
Lack of complexity? You don't listen to much djent do you?
Mr. Rosetti, this is what all musicians should aspire to as a personal goal. If you make any more videos or music, I need to know about it. keep on rocking.
