    Thank you so much for this series! I cane across bullet journaling and never got answers for any sort of format or what is involved (not to mention handwriting-envy to no end). All I've seen is that its short, sweet, creative, and lots of bullets. I cannot thank you enough for explaining what a bullet journal is, what is involved, etc. I'm already coming up with ideas to keep me on track, and I already have plans to start tomorrow.

    Thank you Kara for these great series. I like the Bullet Journal for many reasons and one of the things I love is the possibility of trying different things depending on your changing needs and your linking. I find tons of inspiration in your videos that provide me with ideas to improve my planning system. So again, thank you very much!!

    As always your video was great and the entire series was awesome. I learned so much about bullet journaling. I was so excited and patiently waiting for the next one and the next one. You are very encouraging and your explanations was very easy to follow throughout the series. Again I appreciate it and I am sure the are many others who do as well! Thanks for sharing.

    I'm now addicted to bullet journaling because of you! And here in Brazil it is not common, I don't think I ever saw anyone bullet journaling or talking about it.
    Everyone that sees me doing it in college is just like "wow, what are you doing? i love this, so much effort into cuteness and organization!" Hahah and I'm just like yeaaah I know, it's because of a youtuber I love watching! 😘

    I was completely scared to try the move to a binder system. I am starting this month in a Carpe Diem. So far I am in love and am looking into moving everything into it. My Bujo is a frankenbujo. I do a dutch door system for weekly and daily pages. Instead of a task list (it happens on occasion) I just journal instead. Memory keeping and getting my thoughts out is at the forefront for me. What I love is that I can change it at any time when it isn't working for me.

    Hi! Your necklace was clicking against the mic the entire time (maybe position it differently next time please?). I have a couple superficial questions (I can usually find another one of your videos for any answers about the bullet journal stuff). What's in the jar behind your right shoulder(to the left on the desk) and what are the clippy things on the shelf (led lights or something to do with your camera down angle view of the desk)? Thanx for the informative video! :) I use a discbound notebook as my planner and I can journal as much as I want to and just put those in another notebook every once in a while. ;) just a thought. You can just not index your journaling and put it in other rings (when you are in your filofax).

I randomly stumbled across one of your earlier videos a couple of months ago, not having heard of bullet journaling at all before, and it's been incredibly helpful especially as I juggle a lot of writing deadlines. Hi I have a question I'd love for you to answer if you don't mind! :) How do I set out my daily logs when the weeks cross over between months? E.g. If the 29th, 30th and 31st are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the rest of the week has continued in the next month, how do you set it out whilst still keeping the months separated in a bullet journal? I've only just began bullet journaling, and I'm struggling to find anyone who shows how to figure out this problem. I'd super appreciate your help, thanks so much!

    Oh II watched all the videos and I didn't see where to put the collections. So, my question is this; where in the journal do you put your collections? Do they go after the future log at a glance or do you put a a repeat set of collections after each month at a glance entry?

    I just loved this series and I thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this series. It answered a lot of questions that I had about the bullet journaling system and made it so much simpler than what I thought it was. I hope you don't mind answering one more question. I hope this will be considered a "simple answer" kind of question. I currently have a Happy Planner and would like to start bullet journaling. Would it be a better idea to go ahead and use both systems until I'm finished with my Happy Planner, discard the Happy Planner completely and just use a bullet journal, or just wait until I have used my planner up before starting a bullet journal? Again thank you so much for posting this series. It was both educational and fun to watch. I look forward to your videos every week. Thank you in advance if you have time to answer my question as well!

      Chelsea, I currently have an Erin Condren Life Planner and I have my bujo in addition to it. I have recently made the move to put my bujo into a Carpe Diem and I am even considering putting my planner in with it. My advice is to start with what you have, whether the happy planner, a cheap notebook, or go ahead and purchase the bujo you want. You can always use both systems until you find what works best for you. I hope you are able to find what works best for you!

    Does anyone use a separate bullet journal for work and personal life? I feel like if I combined both I'd go through a note book every month. I also don't know if I'd have enough personal stuff to keep in a single notebook.

    great video, and thank you for planning out this series! i wanted to ask: have you ever experienced any smear/smudge with the Faber Castell PITT pens when you go over them with Tombow dual brush pens or Mildliners (if you use these)? or even when you happen to brush your hand over a freshly drawn line.

    • @Bohoberryshop
      @Bohoberryshop  7 років тому +1

      The PITT pens dry pretty quickly, so I rarely smudge them. As long as I let them dry for a bit I don't run into smudging when I go ever them with my Tombows either. :)

    • @diminade
      @diminade 7 років тому

      Boho Berry Thank you for your reply! I experience smudging (although quite slight) with my Sakura Pigma Micron liners, and especially so with the thicker ones. I was wondering if it was a property of pigment liners or something to do with the brand. Thanks for your insight!

    the pen and pencils, I use Mechanical pencils for journaling or hand writing in general 95% of the time because I absolutely hate running out of ink, they're erasable and I don't really care for archiving my journals. If I can find a nice fine pen that I can refill eg. a fountain pen, thenI'll consider saving up for one. Ps.:I love your series so much I went ahead and got me my favorite notebook and started numbering them. I can't wait to start using it.

    • @malcido
      @malcido 6 років тому

      Andrea, if you haven't yet, check out the Pilot Frixion pens. They use heat sensitive ink and you erase with a plastic nub that is at the end of the pen. I bought them for my 15 year old son who was using pencils for the same reasons you stated and I stole one from him---they work much better than I expected and the writing experience is much nicer than I thought it would be!

    Hi,
    I don't know if you respond to old videos' comments, but thanks in advance if you do. I was wondering, how do you log things that you need to do but have no required date or time? see, I am a student, which means my scedule is pretty flexible outside of assigned projects and lessons i can't miss. that leads to having things i need to do "pretty soon" but with no real deadline, like calling someone for a paper i need to get, or to get my faucet fixed or whatever. and i dont like putting them in my dailies bc i know there is no way they're getting done for a few days and migrating things all the time stresses me out. But not writing them down untill the day I can actually do them stresses me out more, as I'm afraid of forgetting about them. how would you solve that problem?
    again thanks in advance for taking the time to read and reply

    Hi Kara, In recent months, I got a lot of inspiration from your videos, and I started my own bullet journal. Unfortunately I write from right to left in Hebrew, and in Israel I haven't found a notebook with dot grid. For now I print A4 pages, and everyday I walk around with a stack of folded sheets of paper, which makes writing difficult than it should. I wanted to ask your opinion, how can I find a notebook upside down? I'm asking for your opinion because you have much more experience than I. Thanks for everything, You are wonderful!

    • @Ilostmyfangs
      @Ilostmyfangs 7 років тому

      I use a notebook with a 'standard' grid. You don't have to use a dot grid unless that is the specific aesthetic you are going for. :)

      You can also do some basic book binding techniques and make your own book. It is pretty simple and requires just a few supplies. Tons of videos on this site for it. I know Sea Lemon has some for a bunch of different styles.
