This 190c, BF109, ME262, P51 Mustang, Spitfire, Corsair, Black Widow, P38 i could go on and on and not to mention the Tiger and King tiger. Beautiful Machines.
NONE of this beauty, power and technology would happen if not to destroy things and people. How should we appreciate it. I do; but the truth is the truth. Conflict and survival requires creating these beautiful machines and the humans to operate and control them for that singular purpose. Amazing.
my grandfather used to tell us, that even when the germans had already retreated (over Poland) they still had air superiority and you would see those bad boys daily.
It is amazing that they were able to build this rather than restoring one. Even with the Soviet engine it is wonderful to see her fly. I look forward to all of your videos, and can not wait for more!

After years of saying I'd never own a bmw motorcycle I recently bought a gs1200 te purely because that massive boxer engine on start up reminded me just a little of the 801. Before 9/11, I had a chance to watch one of a beautifully built Yak-3M.Reading airport Pennsylvania. It was flying mock combat with P51D. Very maneuverable machine, short legs though.
What a beautiful machine! When I was a kid, I put together a Focke Wolf 190 balsa wood model kit with tissue paper covering the wings and fuselage. The propeller was powered by a rubber band - which of course, you couldn't replace, because of the tissue paper glued over the fuselage. Anyway, the first flight was a disaster! LOL! After experiencing more damage, I eventually poured lighter fluid on it and gave it a fiery send off.
My Grandfather became a 801 mechanic after his job was phased out as JU87 Stuka rear gunner. Licensed in January 1945, the war was to last 4 more months. At the end of tactical operation SG151 piled up their FW190's in groups, not before they pulled all the machine guns and ammunition out. The FW190's burned in funeral pyres, and the crews ventured off north towards Germany as Luftwaffe infantry. With this video I can see what he saw with his own eyes.
The most notable thing about this aircraft, for me, is the fact the bmw 801 engine (used in the revised fw190’s), used the bmw kommandogerät, which controlled the mixture, the ignition timing, the propeller pitch and the compressor speed, all off of the throttle input of the pilot. In other planes of the time, most of those adjustments had to be manually controlled. Bmw (and bram), introduced possibly the worlds first engine control unit, in 1939. Just boggles the mind.
A kettenkrad for tug duty a period ground vehicle. They were multiple purpose designed for air delivery and equipment included a cargo trailer. Front wheel was recommended removed for severe off road conditions. Handle bars actuation for tread brake turns.

This 190c, BF109, ME262, P51 Mustang, Spitfire, Corsair, Black Widow, P38 i could go on and on and not to mention the Tiger and King tiger. Beautiful Machines.
It would be awesome if she got her original BMW engine!
Looking forward to that!
Cool footage. Thanks!
That Kommadogerät engine control unit is a real piece of german jewelery
+Radu B. A very rare BMW has been built for it. The work was planned to begin in 2021.
Da. Da. La numărul de cilindri pe care îl are cu respect mă înclin în acest caz. Da super. Avion.
Эти кресты много слёз принесли миру.спасибо прадеду за победу

Uno de mis aviones favoritos.. que hermoso es verlo volar todavía.
One of the greatest warbirds.
NONE of this beauty, power and technology would happen if not to destroy things and people. How should we appreciate it. I do; but the truth is the truth. Conflict and survival requires creating these beautiful machines and the humans to operate and control them for that singular purpose. Amazing.
always loved the FW190 design.
my grandfather used to tell us, that even when the germans had already retreated (over Poland) they still had air superiority and you would see those bad boys daily.
ranked as one of the top 3 best propeller planes in WW2.
I’ve never seen such a better video of my 1 series than this 😮
Какой Шикарный Звук в начале видео, просто великолепный ! уххххх 1900 поней, омг ! жесть
OMG.All that cam overlap. Hell yes.
It is amazing that they were able to build this rather than restoring one. Even with the Soviet engine it is wonderful to see her fly. I look forward to all of your videos, and can not wait for more!
+David The Kraut Flugwerk was a German company that set up a production line of Fw-190 kits (with some changes) and offered them as a low-cost option for warplane collectors. Twenty-one were offered but I think only about ten of them have been completed to fly including this one.
@@FiveCentsPlease it sure would be nice to have the money for one of these toys! Thanks for the information.
If indeed a Soviet copy the degrade HP by 20%. Their tolerances were horrible
After years of saying I'd never own a bmw motorcycle I recently bought a gs1200 te purely because that massive boxer engine on start up reminded me just a little of the 801. I'll never own anything this but a high performance bike is as close as I'll get to it (and my gs is slowest of my big bore bikes it just sounds fabulous)
Я ждал взлёта. Хорошо когда люди помнят свою историю! Жалко что не сохранилось ниодного Ла 5 фн.( может и ошибаюсь) я про самолёт. Респект рестовраторам!
Before 9/11, I had a chance to watch one of a beautifully built Yak-3M.Reading airport
Pennsylvania. It was flying mock combat with P51D.
Very maneuverable machine,short legs though.
У него вроде охлаждение жидкостное было.
В городе Spayer в Германии видел полёты самолёта со звёздами на крыльях очень похожего на Ла 5
There weren't any when I was growing up, apart from museums. I'm so glad there's some living examples.
Love the sound of a powerful radial engine!
💪✌️❤️🩹🇺🇸
I can only imaging being behind the stick of this beast fighting it out with a P-51. Makes me think of Aces High by Iron Maiden blasting away!
Beautiful engine sound😍
What a beautiful machine! When I was a kid, I put together a Focke Wolf 190 balsa wood model kit with tissue paper covering the wings and fuselage. The propeller was powered by a rubber band - which of course, you couldn't replace, because of the tissue paper glued over the fuselage. Anyway, the first flight was a disaster! LOL! After experiencing more damage, I eventually poured lighter fluid on it and gave it a fiery send off.
Awesome video. Just freakin awesome!
Wonderful piece of german engineering… always in the shadow of the ME109, but not less impressive!
Wunderschöner vogel...❤ 😊
星形エンジン最高!日本のゼロ戦といい、70年以上も前に美しい航空機が大空を飛んでいたことに感動!
The best low to medium attitude fighter of WW2, with the best roll rate of any WW2 fighter...
Yes they did just wonderful flying into battleships. Luckily my grandfather survived such mongoloid flying skills
No substantial armour plate....therefore could not withstand attack.
My absolute fav fighter from ww2.but the ta 152 is my fav variant.would have been formidable in full production.
Love the stance of the 190, looks like a pit bull!
This babe was a pure fighter
Yak-3 was a pure fighter
Beautiful!! I hate to say it. Probably more beautiful then the P-51. I have a place in my heart for all aircraft of this era!
nice work paddy, love the butcher bird!
A kettenkrad for tug duty a period ground vehicle.
They were multiple purpose designed for air delivery and equipment included a cargo trailer.
Front wheel was recommended removed for severe off road conditions.
Handle bars actuation for tread brake turns.
The Fw.190s were/are very beautiful birds. I love both the Fw.190 A and the Fw.190 D 'Dora" version.
This thing looks immaculately clean
Fantastic - Especially blowing that kiss at startup. Swear I could smell it...
The sound is just magical thank you so much!
Lovely stuff. Thanks uploader
*sees 190 video*
*clicks on it*
*Hears the sweet sound of Germany engineering*
Rolls over foaming at the mouth while whispering : “ I love Germany engines and there aircraft! Nrrrrrrrrggghhhhhh!”
Btw did I mention that this is a great video?
Keep up the good work
