My wife tells me I'm stuck in the 80s in high school. Why would I ever leave, such great times. If you didn't grow up in the 70s and 80s you wouldn't understand. They were the best

So freaking fun. I am in that video. Standing behind the keyboard player. I was in 9th grade. The last shot of the video was filmed at Six Flags Great Adventure. Bon Jovi played a free concert to thank Seaside for allowing the video shoot to happen. I have guitar picks and the band autograph still to this day. Oh that scene where Tico is floating on the raft. I was asked to do what is known as a camera block where the set up the camera's and lighting before the talent actually enters the video take.

@trudymccubbin1780 That's so cool, I betcha' loved that!!! Cinderella was one of my favorite bands back in the day. I saw them open for AC/DC in '87 or '88. I think it was AC/DC's Blow Up Your Video Tour. Why I remember this stuff and can't remember what I said yesterday, I have no idea.

    In and out of love
    Young and wired
Set to explode in the heat
    You won't tire
'Cause baby, you were born with the beat
Take you higher than you've ever known
Then drive you down to your knees
I'll pick you up when you've had enough
You been burned baby lessons learned
    In and out of love
    Hear what I'm sayin'
    In and out of love
It's the way that we're playing
    In and out of love
    Too much is never enough
    She's gonna get ya
    Running wild
When me and my boys hit the streets
    Right on time
She's here to make my night complete
Then I'm long gone I got another show
One more town, one mile to go
    One endless night of fantasy
Is all she left of her with me
    In and out of love
    Hear what I'm sayin'
    In and out of love
It's the way that we're playing
    In and out of love
    When we're together
    In and out of love
    It's too much forever
    In and out of love
    Hear what I'm sayin'
    In and out of love
It's the way that we're playing
    In and out of love
    Too much is never enough
    She's gonna get you
    Out of love
    Out of love
    Out of love
    Out of love
    In and out of love
    In and out of love
    In and out of love
In and out of love (love!)
    In and out of love

I'm a devoted fan of rock music from '83 to '92 and I've listened to THOUSANDS of bands from that period and I will never understand why did it all fade away... such talented musicians, all the feeling, the fun, the vibe... I guess that's why most people can't remember those times without a sincere smile and a sigh...

I actually look back at the '80s with "tears of joy." In my opinion, the '80s were the PEAK or PINNACLE of "FUN," "FUN," "FUN!" In my opinion, thanks to God-awful "grunge," the "fun" came to an end! Looking back and, even, TO THIS DAY, WHY would ANYONE, with ANY COMMON SENSE OR LOGIC, want a "miserable," "depressed," "homeless-looking," junkie, like Kurt Cobain, to be the "voice" of THEIR generation?!

You know it makes this good. It’s not the song cause it’s a good song. It’s the background people it’s the location it’s what is going on in the video. Jersey shore lives on. And this video proves it

Although Bon Jovi don't really like the "Fahrenheit" record, I don't mind the album and this song. Great guitar work by Richie, but in my opinion you can tell when you hear it that they haven't got there yet. The songs and production were fine, but the band was still looking for those big sounding stadium anthems.

The debut and 7800 Fahrenheit are the two best Bon Jovi lps. The rest of course have "those other songs" but those 1st two have a certain magic.

Damn! My 1st concert when I was 15. I pushed my way up to the front and had 10 ft between me and Bon Jovi. The guards were spraying us down with hoses and my big hair and mascara were both running. Best story I've ever got to tell yet as a 70s kid. Meaning I was born in the 70s and now pushing 50!
