I seen this show live I’m 55 years old now and it still gets me off my ass on my feet. I’ve been a fan when really nobody really knew Bon Jovi early early days friend of mine brother worked in Jersey brought back a bootleg cassette and the rest is history I’d love to go back to those days and live the 80’s one more time. People make fun of the big hair days, glam rock they call it but in my opinion it was the golden age of Rock N Roll and we will never experience that again. If you were there and seen BON JOVI, Motley Crue, GNR, Poison, Ozzy, Skid Row, Ratt and the hardest Rock Band in my opinion METALLICA then you know what I’m talking about you felt the energy in the place especially right before the show starts that’s why I love this video so much to me it’s the closest thing we have to bring us back to that very special moment in time.
Sexiest bloody, entertainers to walk the face of the Earth, all of them. Bon Jovi and all the rest. Kids today, truly, do not have a clue. They don't get it; it was ALL, part of the SHOW. And WHAT, a bloody, show it was, too. It was indeed, a special moment in time, one which I would go back to in a heartbeat, to relive again, if only I could.
What an album this is and was. This, Bad Medicine, Born to be my baby, Blood on Blood, Homebound Train, Wild is the Wind, I'll be there for you, 99 in the shade ....... WOW. JUST WOW.
People listening to the music of today, streaming or on spotify will never have a clue to what we experienced in the 80s with the music and live concerts such as these, saw bon Jovi on the Jersey tour absolutely amazing, better place and time, I know you can't go back but we still have our memories of a better time
Steven Stiles wow I paid £80 when I saw him a on his last tour before this one he’s on now, I’m only 28 would have loved to have been at this show or any back in the day.
20 bucks because back then bands made their fortune with the album sales and hit singles, unlike now, when the income comes from the overpriced 100 bucks tickets, hoping for a hit video on youtube and legal downloads.
1984, the year I graduated high school, the year I seen Bon Jovi warm up for the Scorpions, I had his first Album on cassette, knew every song by heart, I sure miss those days.
I can feel this all the way down to my toes! I was in my 20's when this came out and we were having the times of our lives! I'd love to feel that again, but the rock bar is not a thing anymore! Never like the 80's! Miss these guys' energy!!!
I was 20 years old when this song came out. Jon is still one of the best front men of all time and this is one of the best rock bands ever. My 2 kids love them. When my now 21 year old daughter saw this video for the first time last year, she said, "I can see why all you girls lost your minds for Jon back then...." 😂 I still love him and I've seen Bon Jovi live 3 times, they were amazing!!
Richie left on his own to make a name for himself, but wsn't that successful, he did eventually come back to Bon Jovi, but from what reports said, they were having issues with him and eventually was let go from the band. As with Alec, he was fired due to reports of him disclosing private info about the band for $$, or something to that effect.

I was actually at this concert and made it in the video! At moment 4:27 I am standing in the center in blue shirt with my arms in the air. My sister is to my right holding a white BJ tshirt up in front of her face. LOL. GOOD TIMES! Still enjoying their music today.
A friend of mine had two extra tickets and invited me and my wife to go with him. Atlanta the Omni March 1989. I didn’t know much about them other than the hits like Livin on a Prayer and Wanted Dead or Alive. They came on to this song with the drum and guitar build up and everyone went nuts. Then pyrotechnics and Jon appeared on stage out of nowhere and this song kicked in. I was in a state of euphoria and I thought I’d never heard a better opening song in all my life. And the good feel energy that Jon has was electrifying.
My sister is a pastor and at the end of the service all members gather and Lay Their Hands on anyone who is needing a blessing. I am the 'black sheep' of my family, but I think this is beautiful.

If you were there and seen BON JOVI, Motley Crue, GNR, Poison, Ozzy, Skid Row, Ratt and the hardest Rock Band in my opinion METALLICA then you know what I’m talking about you felt the energy in the place especially right before the show starts that’s why I love this video so much to me it’s the closest thing we have to bring us back to that very special moment in time.
seen most of those.. wish i could see Poison and Skid Row, live they were amazing, but Poison never play the Uk and Skid Row are fractured
I'm 61 and will NEVER forget it. Jon gives/ gave 1000% Every time! Bruce taught him well!
What an album this is and was. This, Bad Medicine, Born to be my baby, Blood on Blood, Homebound Train, Wild is the Wind, I'll be there for you, 99 in the shade ....... WOW. JUST WOW.
俺もそう思う!
I liked it better than Slippery When Wet
It doesnt get any better than this, just look at the audience participation and the bands' showmanship!
Indeed. What heights we have fallen from since these days.
@@ivanj.conway9919 ... For sure,fer shur!😒
Lay Your hands on Me Sweetheart! ✌️
People listening to the music of today, streaming or on spotify will never have a clue to what we experienced in the 80s with the music and live concerts such as these, saw bon Jovi on the Jersey tour absolutely amazing, better place and time, I know you can't go back but we still have our memories of a better time
5:05 Jon’s KILLER smile. I’m dead.
Too bad these awesome young people of today had to miss these unparalleled shows. Tickets? 20 bucks. That was when bands cared about their fans.
Steven Stiles wow I paid £80 when I saw him a on his last tour before this one he’s on now, I’m only 28 would have loved to have been at this show or any back in the day.
@@sammyjotaylor690 When you saw them not him, Bon Jovi are a band-Jon Bon Jovi is when he is solo obviously lol
You should go to the Vegas show June 20,2020!!!They rock man!!!!
20 bucks because back then bands made their fortune with the album sales and hit singles, unlike now, when the income comes from the overpriced 100 bucks tickets, hoping for a hit video on youtube and legal downloads.
@@jjrj8568 Sad but true. Concerts then were sooo unpretentious and were more like some giant party.
I took a river cruise at st Louis in high-school back in 92' still remember that they played this song. Electric then as it is now
Gon bon Jovi the best ❤❤❤❤
1984, the year I graduated high school, the year I seen Bon Jovi warm up for the Scorpions, I had his first Album on cassette, knew every song by heart, I sure miss those days.
I can feel this all the way down to my toes! I was in my 20's when this came out and we were having the times of our lives! I'd love to feel that again, but the rock bar is not a thing anymore! Never like the 80's! Miss these guys' energy!!!
I don't know which is worse, the ones that PRETEND to be the rockstar or famous person or the one's that believe it (if ANY one does)!!!
@@tinahill3423 HHHMMM? You obviously had to be there! Graduating high school and coming into adulthood in the 80's was the absolute best!
I listened to this as a kid feedings calves with an aunt I didn't much care for thank you bon Jovi for drowning er out
The energy of the band is contagious to me! And what a solo by Richie, my people! 😍
😃👏🏼🎶✨🎸
That's pure intensity dude. I fucking love it 40 years later.
@@Christophercross- now I want to go sailing
Richie and Alec John Such :The good old times! We miss you!
Eduardo bsn - Absolutely!!
You ment Richie sam boerna
Richie left on his own to make a name for himself, but wsn't that successful, he did eventually come back to Bon Jovi, but from what reports said, they were having issues with him and eventually was let go from the band. As with Alec, he was fired due to reports of him disclosing private info about the band for $$, or something to that effect.
THAT Was MELBOURNE, I Swear I was in that CROWD, Somewhere up the back, It was AWESOME back then!🎸🤘🤩😘❤️🌹😘🎸

Men will never look as good as this nowadays
The women either...especially with all the plastic now.
You'd be surprised! 😎
WE COULD SAY THE SAME ABOUT WOMEN! THEY'RE ALL TRYING TO LOOK LIKE MEN NOW!
@@ClayMationNation Both men and women lookalike now. Both are full of implants, 24h workouts and are overly concerned about their looks, more than genuinely having fun. Like, for example, on this concert.
Ironically crazy as hell
If 2022 (this year) is the last time he ever tours, I'd be ok with it, since I finally got to see them live up in Indianapolis on April 19th.
It irritates the hell out of me that people are complaining about his vocals going in and out, he's in his 60s and still willing to give us what we want, live performances, let's cut him some slack, shall we?
Jon at his vocal peak and New Jersey was the groups peak album studio sound in my opinion also thanks to Desmond Child’s compositions on this album
To something so good I "AHCH" everything eyeow
God I love the 80’s
You and both Edward!!
Any 80's fan-girls here still wishing their hair was as beautiful as JBJ?? 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
It was actually 😊😂
All of us!
My hair looked more like Richie's 🥰
He'll mine still is.
@@helanaclark4907 FKN-A!!!!
One of the best rocksongs ever.
I am so thankful Lay Your Hands on Me has a blip of talentless Bon Jovi and the rest is Peter Gabriel..Talent is Peter Gabriel, pretty boy with nothing different or special is Bon Jovi
I was actually at this concert and made it in the video! At moment 4:27 I am standing in the center in blue shirt with my arms in the air. My sister is to my right holding a white BJ tshirt up in front of her face. LOL. GOOD TIMES! Still enjoying their music today.
Lori Richards I'm jealous
Lori Richards that must have been one epic concert!
Damn thats pretty cool
Where was it filmed?
@@toddlaska8327 in 4 Different places.Salt Lake City Portland Tacoma and the Last one i forgot
Filmed at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland Oregon, and I was on the main floor. Great memories!!
wow i w ish i Would be their either
you saying you were there IN THAT SAME MUSIC VIDEO?!!!!
+melissa brown yes
Omg soooooo lucky
It was also film at Tacoma dome Tacoma,WA too I just learned that couple of months ago when I saw Motley.
That’s creepy as f
Jealous. 80s is my favourite decade. I was born in 84. If I could have grown up in the 80s I would've been in my element.
Best music !!
I remember when they opened their concert with this, this was the best feeling, it got you right though the inner core of your body. I saw this concert and it still gets me it takes me back to the 80’s.
Golden years
I saw this concert 3x… 1x @ Irvine Meadows and 2x @ The Forum [I’m in this video]. #bonjovi
Oh what I would give to have been a teen in the 80s and 90s! I’m a glam/pop metal girly & I am forever envious that my parents got to witness the rise of these bands! 😭
I wish I was born in 1970 in USA and enjoy this stuff.
The best time ever.....didn't know how good we had it!!
My NEW favorite Bon Jovi song!!🤣🤣 People can STILL see the 80's!! These videos are all we had too! ROCK ON!!
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame- Congratulations to Bon Jovi ❤
Jon is one of the BEST front men of all time!!! Awesome live!!!
Coolest band EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make a concert again bon jovi!!!
As far as I know, Jon can no longer sing the way he used to be singing in the past. And this is sad... 🤔
This video is still
fresh and amazing
even when you watch or listen to it now。‼️It,s
awesome。😍
Yes Sir, Plez…. Lay Ur Hands On Me!! LoL!! Jus love this Man, JBJ + BON JOVI & this Song too!!!! Damn, tha 80’s were too freakin amazing!!!❤️🌹❤️🖤❤️🌹❤️
Was at the show, when they filmed at Portland Oregon, remember they played the song twice for the cameras. The cat walk was so cool Bon Jovi walked right over us ..Great times at concert... Oh..the good old days we partied hard that night. 😎🎸🎸🎶
I was there at memorial Colosseum
I was there at the memorial Colosseum 👍🏻
I was 29 years old when this came out l was on the USS Nimitz and with so many different age groups someone told me about this. All l can say is what an experience. Being on that aircraft carrier 86-89 introduced me to some good times and music.
Happy birthday jon I have your mirror from years ago.
I remember seeing Bon Jovi on this tour. We went to two shows. I miss the 80s
