Okay, that first 27 seconds made me super excited! I think that's as close as anyone I've seen has been able to film a semi-panoramic concept of bison body language and behavior in action. (HI! I'm a self-taught animal behaviorist with an emphasis on ruminants.) Bison have panoramic vision which enables them to see all around them (especially when their heads are down). This kind of vision enables them to have constant visual communication with their herd and its surroundings. The pace you're walking, the direction you're facing, and your pauses during that first 27 seconds all have meaning to your bison, and they were responding to it really beautifully. A great shot, thank you!
Sometimes the best shots are when you least expect them! Lol! Very happy you enjoy the video, thank you very much for watching! (and...I learned a little something, too! Thank you!)
Thor is definitely a camera hog. I am happy that Ruby is doing better. I think her belly has shrunk. She doesn't look pregnant now. Still have her in my thoughts and Prayers. Thank you for sharing. Thoughts and Prayers. Love and Blessings. Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
We were thinking the same thing. On one hand, she was hardly eating all week, but on the other hand, she could very well have miscarried at an early stage. I know some animals will sometimes consume the material that is ejected. Not to sound gross, but that's just the way it is sometimes.
Not until the Spring. Just didn't quite have enough time to get it done this year. No heat for the shed, but I would like to run electrical out to it for lights. So we will store hay in the garage for another winter it seems...
Thanks for the video of Ruby. Thor always wants attention. A little snow makes it look pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Very true! Unfortunately the snow is melting, lol!
Always great to see your bison.
Thank you! And thank you for watching! :-)

@@blackaxeranch It is not gross what the animals do. It is nature. I am happy that she is getting better. 🤗
When will you put the roof on? Will you heat the shed?
