I felt like there could have been more expressed relief/surprise from Ezra. I could understand Sabine's lack of emotion since she already had been tipped off that he'd be there, but Ezra shoulda been like "WHOA WHAT??" It's been 10 years, goodness.

Yeah, it matched the characters. And, really, it's a pretty emotional scene without going over the top. You can see the heavy weight that comes off Sabine's shoulders and her overall relief and joy that everything she did was worth it. And Ezra is grinning and glowing. Family members in real life that have been apart for longer show less emotion when reunited.
Ezras look is directly tied back to Rebels and his fathers look. Which is wonderfully recreated along with his unusual eye color. I am really looking forward as to what he uses as a weapon. Maybe a proto-saber or found the last Kyber?
... I was also wondering about this. Do they have needed Crystals in that galaxy? Or perhaps something else which Jedi could turn into different sort of lightsaber? Could it be Ezra will have a new color of lightsaber? Perhaps purple one which is very rare one?

Also I have a feeling that the Force itself will work a little different. I mean if the source itself is in the center of the main galaxy, then they are extremely far from it.

According to the canon thrawn novels considering thrawn served with Anakin in the clone wars and with Vader in the empire, he was also one of the few people to know of Vader's true identity hence his comment to baylan "you would not be the first to leave the Jedi" his interactions with ahsoka have me so excited
I think the way Ezra and Sabine met was perfect for their characters. That's how imagine people like them would act seeing each other for the first time in years.
The interaction between Ezra and Sabine are in character given their brother and sister relationship mixed in with a pint of romantic feelings. Sabine's happiness turned guilty expression is an amazing reaction to Ezra's "I know I can count on you." She is happy to see Ezra again but feels guilty for betraying Ezra's effort by helping Thrawn's effort to escape the exile. On Ezra's part, his mild reaction to the reunion is perfect for the moment as he could sense incoming threat. That's why he keeps on questioning how Sabine gets to him and tells the villagers to move out.
Maybe they weren't going after Ezra because it would take so many of Thrawn's limited troops just to take out someone who's already in exile too. But now that Thrawn has an out, he's making sure Ezra doesn't follow
I've seen speculation that Ezra's 'scale mail' shirt might be made of Stormtrooper dog tags. If that's the case, then He might well be part of the reason for Thrawn having limited troops.
Thrawn will use very limited resources to try and kill Ezra, but he will not sacrifice his mission to do so. That's what seperates him from other bad guys. He is actually smart and not driven by emotion to make bad decisions

I totally get what you mean about Ezra and Sabine seeing each other. It almost seemed like a delayed response,I would have expected her to go running twords him, and giving a big hug. Especially after all that time.
I loved seeing Jen's facial reactions during this episode. She was so engaged with what was happening. Glad to see you guys are starting to recover from your illness.
Thrawn was just about perfect to me. Awesome. I really hope Dave brings in new stuff into live action. Abeloth, Zeffo, potentially. But whatever it is, I think the great mothers and Nightsisters are up to something. There loyalties are to their people not thrawn. I think they have something up their sleeve even hidden from thrawn. Baylon can feel it too. Something big from legends or the games is coming to this show. I can feel it.
Something is calling to Balon. Something from beyond the known galaxy. There are very few entities in Star Wars canon that have that kind of presence. I hope we're building up to Abeloth.

@@Gnaritas42 "thrawn just been snackin the whole time in exile" was the thought i had when we saw that profile shot of him walking. He's a tall, relatively slender 60yr man. I think it was a combination of wardrobe + arms folded behind back + holding chin up while walking that made him look chubbier than he should have.
Some people complain about Lars Mikkelsen being too old for this role, but they seem to forget that Thrawn would be in his mid-late 60's, if not 70 at this point in the time-line, so it looked like they have actually aged Mikkelsen (and his uniform) to make him look a bit older and less fit than he is. Mikkelsen is 59 and the original voice actor from Star Wars Rebels, who know Thrawn inside-out, besides being an excellent actor just like his slightly younger brother Mads Mikkelsen.
I knew Jen would love the rat-dog once the scolding happened. 😂 It's likely that Ezra did know Sabine was coming, he can use the Force, after all. And Thrawn likely didn't bother looking for him at all, unless Ezra came by to cause problems, simply because it's a waste of resources. They're both stuck there, and until something happens to change that, there's no point losing troops. Now that Thrawn has a way out though, it's important that Ezra not interfere.
Haven't visited this channel in a while. But man, your wife Jen has upped her game in her outro delivery. Oozing so much confidence and speaking with so much eloquence. I loved thrawn's entrance. So fitting for someone like him. Getting his va to portray him irl was the best decision they ever made. And hopefully it opens the door to get them to bring in sam witwer to do a live action star killer if they ever decide to use him. The storm troopers designs were great. They looked very cult like. It's very fitting considering they've been stranded and all they have is thrawn to lead them. I thought the reunion between ezra and Sabine was very weak. Really thought they'd have more there
That's why he's such a feared leader. He doesn't let his ego get in the way of victory and carefully considers what resources need to go where. If he were involved at the battle of Endor, he probably would have advocated that they wipe out the Ewoks living in proximity of the shield generator on the off chance they cause problems. A decision that would have won them that battle and subsequently the war.

This episode was AMAZING for all the Rebels fans out there. Literally all we wanted for the past few years. Also, Thrawns voice actor came back to play as Thrawn, that’s why he sounds just like he did all those years ago.
I don't know if you guys ever watched Sherlock, the BBC show. But the guy who plays Thrawn, Lars Mikkelsen, was the bad guy in one of those seasons and he has that same calm intimidating voice and it's so good
If you look closely at Ezra he is wearing some kind of chain mail. To me it looks like it is made out of stormtrooper dog tags, which would be really cool. So maybe Thrawn did actually find him and thats why their numbers are dwindling.
Great reaction! I thought the casting of Ezra was spot on. The character actually looks like his father now. Now, I want to see how advanced he's become with the Force. I hope they don't go the Kenobi route where he hasn't used the Force for 10 years and has to reacclimate himself. Regarding Morgan and the "NightTroopers", Morgan stated that they were loading "catacombs" into Thrwan's ship the "Chimera". Catacombs hold dead people, mummies. I believe they are loading either dead Nightsisters or their deceased demon army to take back to the Star Wars galaxy. There, the Nightsisters will either resurrect them to rebirth their civilization on Dathomir or they will serve as Thrawn's personal army. The stormtroopers or "NightTroopers" are Nightsister magic. I believe the Chimera actually crashed on Paredia and these are the stormtroopers that actually died. The Nightsisters resurrected them as zombies and helped Thrawn repair the Chimera. I think Ezra escaped when the ship crashed and Thrawn has been looking for him while they have been on the planet.
From the catacombs on their original homeworld, I would presume they are nightsister tombs. Possibly their payment for helping Thrawn is to take nightsisters back with them to resurrect dathomir.
I've been noticing the water on the ship windows in this show as well! Those little details, to me, make such a difference in helping to immerse yourself into the show!
I'm the most happy that they kept thrawn truly smart. This episode showed he is not just every other bad guy who lets emotions control his decisions. His speech about their true mission is getting out, and he is not gonna sacrifice it just to ensure Ezra is dead. A pit fall so many other bad guys would fall into .
After 30 years, the Heir to the Empire himself has been seen on screen in the flesh. It honestly is so surreal to me as someone who’s read both the Heir to the Empire trilogy, as well as Zahn’s canon novels (which are arguably even better than HTTE imo). That was one of the coldest entrances I’ve EVER seen in Star Wars 🔥🔥🔥. Even for those that haven’t watched Rebels or read the novels, I think this episode did a good job at starting to solidify not only why he is feared, but also how different he is from most Star Wars villains Fun fact for you Holden, in the canon Thrawn books that I mentioned above, Thrawn actually knew Anakin after meeting him on a mission during the Clone Wars. Years later during the days of the Empire, Thrawn and Vader returned to the very same planet on a different mission and Thrawn essentially trolled Vader by knowing that he knew Vader and Anakin were the same person. If you ever want good reading material, the trilogy containing Thrawn, Thrawn: Alliances, and Thrawn Treason is fantastic And to answer Jen’s question about how long it’s been since Rebels, it’s been around a decade or so. Rebels finale essentially takes place right around A New Hope, which is 0BBY (Before Battle of Yavin.) Then Empire Strikes Back is 3ABY (After Battle of Yavin), Return of the Jedi is 4ABY, and Mandalorian starts 9ABY. So given Ahsoka starts after S2 of Mando and run’s congruent with season 3, 10ABY is about where it falls
In the Norse (Viking) mythology there are two Wolf called Hati and Skoll (like Shin Hati and Baylan Skoll) this two wolfes are always chasing the moon but they can't never catch it, however the profecy say that one day they will Catch and Eat the moon and that simple action will start the Events of Ragnarok. I don't think that Dave Filoni named this two Characters without a good Reason, we know that George Lucas took inspiration from other cultures and Mithologies to create Stories/Characters.we can be sure that Filoni has a Huge plan for this two!
I thought the Sabine Ezra reunion was perfectly lined with how it would go in the animated version. Yes, light w Ezra crossing his arms n leaning. They had a nice embrace.. They are the storm troopers of the dead. The red stripes resembles the nightsisters dead sisters on Dathomir in the catacombs, so I would assume they are dead storm troopers.

Thrawn finding out more about Ahsoka will be really interesting since he was one of, if not the only imperial to deduce that Anakain was Vader and Vader was actually a supporter of his tie defender program
People online are saying he looks like Price of Egypt Moses too, even the actor himself, Eman Esfandi, made a post saying "LET MY PEOPLE GO!". Another thing people brought up, if Attack of the Clones Obi-Wan looks like the standard Jesus, Ezra looks like biblically/historically accurate Jesus lol
In the main Star Wars continuity it's always been the same galaxy. In the EXU it was suggested that Palpatine's creation of the empire was because he foresaw a threat from another galaxy, and the republic was unable / illequiped to deal with it. A race of being strong in, or resistant of, the force, who used like bio-technology instead of the more sterile stuff we're used to seeing. It could be that Filoni may be building up to this eventual inter-galactic war
I can't say enough about how much I love Rosario Dawson's portrayal of Ahsoka Tano. She captures ALL the mannerisms and emotional agony over not only leaving Anakin's mentorship, but over his fall to the Dark Side and rebirth as Darth Vader.

PERIDEA's rings are the bones of dead Purrgills! The planet is like an ELEPHANT GRAVEYARD for them. Filoni just RET-CONNED the whole origin of the Nightsisters! The LEGENDS CANON was the order was begun by a rogue Jedi 600 years in the past who set up shop on Dathomir and lured female colonists away from their families. The colonists were expelled and Dathomir became known as a witch-world. The adepts used their power to garner influence and their dangerous reputation ensured their isolation. Some pirates sold them Zabrak slaves with whom they interbred keeping the female children for the order and establishing a Nightbrother settlement for the males. The human-Zabrak hybrids of Dathomir were called Dathomiri-Zabrak like Darth Maul who was Mother Talzin's son. True Zabraks hail from their homeworld of Iridonia. By the time of the Clone Wars, all Nightsisters and Nightbrothers were Dathomiri-Zabrak hybrids. The Nightsisters debuted in the 1985 live-action TV movie "Battle for Endor". It's good continuity keeping the voice actor and Mikkelsen did not disappoint. CAPTAIN ENOCH with the gold faceplate is played by WES CHATHAM of "The Expanse" where he portrayed Amos Burton. The troops are all bound by red Nightsister bandages and their cracked armor has been repaired using the KINTSUGI method of filling the gaps with gold lacquer. Thrawn says their numbers have dwindled and he's reluctant to commit too many troops to track Sabine. I bet these guys are mostly ZOMBIE TROOPERS like Marrok the Inquisitor. BAYLAN and SHIN are the stars of the show! RAY STEVENSON is killing it in this part! What's calling out to this man? What do the Nightsisters wish to get away from? How can it break the cycle of war? Is it possible the YUUZHAN VONG are lurking somewhere nearby? I sure hope so! EZRA BRIDGER shows up as EMAN ESFANDI with blue contacts and a beard looking very much like Ezra's pops from the cartoon images! Very good casting. He and Sabine have an unpleasant discussion ahead. The HOWLER's attachment to Sabine was very cute as were the nomadic NOTI Shell People. The bandits looked like RONIN in their red armor. What is the cargo being loaded onto the 'Chimera'? Nightsisters in stasis? Mummified Nightsisters? Nightsister relics? Nightsister treasure? We shall see...
Fun fact Lars Mikkelsen, the actor who plays Thrawn in Rebels and here in Ahsoka, is the older brother of Mads Mikkelsen. Mads Mikkelsen was Galen Erso in Rogue One.
Ponds and pools of water are dotted all over this planet. Not just main rivers and seas. They even hinted at this when the howler stopped at some ponds for water
I love how thrawns right hand trooper looks like a roman centurion. the bandits are very samurai looking. the inquisitor, baylon, and shin look like knights. ezra is wearing chainmail that looks like dogtags.
Season 4 of Mandalorian is confirmed. Not sure about a season 2 for this yet. Maybe we'll have more news after the finale for this show since the writers strike is wrapping up.

100% agreed about the emotionality (or lack thereof). I never cared for Ezra or Sabine, but having sat through all four season of _Rebels_ and all of _Ahsoka_ so far, I admit I expected a little more enthusiasm than the greeting of two bros meeting up during winter break after not seeing each other during their first semester at different colleges.
Shin intrigues me most. You notice the two times Shin fought Sabine, she had been instructed to. So she did. But every scene with Shin and Sabine together, Shin is watching and measuring Sabine. Because Baylan was a Jedi, and Sabine is apprenticed to a Jedi, I think she's watching Sabine to see how different they really are. And when Shin calls out Baylan, it's (to my mind) a callback to Baylan and Morgan, Baylan said it would be a shame to kill a Jedi because there's so few left.
Figured it out. Baylan Skoll is trying to get rid of the two groups, jedi and sith and make them into one group as force users. He got tired of the conflict between force users and now sees that the only way to stopping the cycle is by uniting all force users. That's the new beginning he seeks.
There is also a movie announced from James Mangold, how the first Jedi ever figured out how to you use the force. The movie is supposed to take place 25‘000 years before the movies.
"Something calls to me...can't you hear it?" I have 2 theories. 1st is, this power could be Abeloth, or it 2nd, it could be Zeffonian in nature. Those were Zeffonian runes all over the temple where the Night Sisters and Thrawn were. Baylon made the statement about this planet being the land of dreams and nightmares, which again makes me think of Abeloth. The Night Sisters are very eager to get off the planet. Also Ezra has upgraded his hemet collection hobby to instead wearing "Chain mail" made from dark trooper dog tags. One other thing, is I believe these dark troopers to be undead. Their armor has been fixed in the fashion of Kintsugi. Which is applying gold to fix something broke. And they have red scarves wrapped around their armor. They are filled with Night Sister dark magic.
Every trip taken to Kamino in Star Wars Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars was outside the main Star Wars galaxy since Kamino was an extra-galactic planet. Although going to a whole other galaxy is a new thing for current Star Wars.
There are other galaxies that has been visited, most notably in terms of movies in Episode 2 there is mention of Rishi Maze, a dwarf galaxy outside of the main one and Kamino was near it.
I would hardly count that considering its proximity to the galaxy with the Republic, it was small and in a decaying orbit practically right next to kamino. I guess yea it is a galaxy but to me that's like saying we went to another planet because we landed on the moon.
If you look closely, that ring shaped ship's hull is overheating after its hyperspace jump. like the plates on our space shuttle, coming back into the atmosphere.
Eman Esfandi is just a perfect Ezra, just like I thought he would look like as an adult, he has the mannerism and even a similar voice. Perfect Casting if I ever saw one.
Sabine's fixation on Ezra and not telling him what's happening is going to get people killed. I love seeing Claudia Black as one of the Night Sisters. The planet looks decimated..you have to ask yourself what/who decimated it.
Thrawn isn't looking for Ezra anymore. Ezra is wearing a shirt of trooper dog tags. 🤣 Thrawn has likely sent many troops to get Ezra, and none have returned. Thrawn isn't going to keep wasting resources when they're both stuck there. Like he said, he doesn't care if they're dead or stranded, he just wants to get off the planet.
When you see Ezra’s photo of his Parents.. he looks exactly the same as his father .. with same hair & beard .. The death troopers look like they are held together or reanimated by the witches magic especially when you see them covered in the red strips of cloth 😀

From what I understand, Ezra may not take his lightsaber back at all. He may have taken up some kind of force enhanced martial arts...so rumor said.

I totally get what you mean about Ezra and Sabine seeing each other. It almost seemed like a delayed response,I would have expected her to go running twords him, and giving a big hug. Especially after all that time.

Thrawn was just about perfect to me. Awesome. I really hope Dave brings in new stuff into live action. Abeloth, Zeffo, potentially. But whatever it is, I think the great mothers and Nightsisters are up to something. There loyalties are to their people not thrawn. I think they have something up their sleeve even hidden from thrawn. Baylon can feel it too. Something big from legends or the games is coming to this show. I can feel it.

Some people complain about Lars Mikkelsen being too old for this role, but they seem to forget that Thrawn would be in his mid-late 60's, if not 70 at this point in the time-line, so it looked like they have actually aged Mikkelsen (and his uniform) to make him look a bit older and less fit than he is. Mikkelsen is 59 and the original voice actor from Star Wars Rebels, who know Thrawn inside-out, besides being an excellent actor just like his slightly younger brother Mads Mikkelsen.

It's likely that Ezra did know Sabine was coming, he can use the Force, after all. And Thrawn likely didn't bother looking for him at all, unless Ezra came by to cause problems, simply because it's a waste of resources. They're both stuck there, and until something happens to change that, there's no point losing troops. Now that Thrawn has a way out though, it's important that Ezra not interfere.
Haven't visited this channel in a while. But man, your wife Jen has upped her game in her outro delivery. Oozing so much confidence and speaking with so much eloquence. Props to Jen, and to you Holden for encouraging her in this YT journal and molding her into the force of nature she has evolved into today.
I loved thrawn's entrance. So fitting for someone like him. Getting his va to portray him irl was the best decision they ever made. And hopefully it opens the door to get them to bring in sam witwer to do a live action star killer if they ever decide to use him. The storm troopers designs were great. They looked very cult like. It's very fitting considering they've been stranded and all they have is thrawn to lead them. I thought the reunion between ezra and Sabine was very weak. Really thought they'd have more there
I like how Thrawn didn't just assume Ahsoka is dead like most villains would and is planning for worst case scenario.
That's why he's such a feared leader. He doesn't let his ego get in the way of victory and carefully considers what resources need to go where. If he were involved at the battle of Endor, he probably would have advocated that they wipe out the Ewoks living in proximity of the shield generator on the off chance they cause problems. A decision that would have won them that battle and subsequently the war.

I don't know if you guys ever watched Sherlock, the BBC show. But the guy who plays Thrawn, Lars Mikkelsen, was the bad guy in one of those seasons and he has that same calm intimidating voice and it's so good
If you look closely at Ezra he is wearing some kind of chain mail. To me it looks like it is made out of stormtrooper dog tags, which would be really cool. So maybe Thrawn did actually find him and thats why their numbers are dwindling.

Great reaction! I thought the casting of Ezra was spot on. The character actually looks like his father now. Now, I want to see how advanced he's become with the Force. I hope they don't go the Kenobi route where he hasn't used the Force for 10 years and has to reacclimate himself. Regarding Morgan and the "NightTroopers", Morgan stated that they were loading "catacombs" into Thrwan's ship the "Chimera". Catacombs hold dead people, mummies. I believe they are loading either dead Nightsisters or their deceased demon army to take back to the Star Wars galaxy. There, the Nightsisters will either resurrect them to rebirth their civilization on Dathomir or they will serve as Thrawn's personal army. The stormtroopers or "NightTroopers" are Nightsister magic. I believe the Chimera actually crashed on Paredia and these are the stormtroopers that actually died. The Nightsisters resurrected them as zombies and helped Thrawn repair the Chimera. I think Ezra escaped when the ship crashed and Thrawn has been looking for him while they have been on the planet.
From the catacombs on their original homeworld, I would presume they are nightsister tombs. Possibly their payment for helping Thrawn is to take nightsisters back with them to resurrect dathomir.
I've been noticing the water on the ship windows in this show as well! Those little details, to me, make such a difference in helping to immerse yourself into the show!
I'm the most happy that they kept thrawn truly smart. This episode showed he is not just every other bad guy who lets emotions control his decisions. His speech about their true mission is getting out, and he is not gonna sacrifice it just to ensure Ezra is dead. A pit fall so many other bad guys would fall into .
Just want to point out that they were unloading cargo for the nightsisters that came from the catacombs... 👀

After 30 years, the Heir to the Empire himself has been seen on screen in the flesh. It honestly is so surreal to me as someone who’s read both the Heir to the Empire trilogy, as well as Zahn’s canon novels (which are arguably even better than HTTE imo). That was one of the coldest entrances I’ve EVER seen in Star Wars 🔥🔥🔥. Even for those that haven’t watched Rebels or read the novels, I think this episode did a good job at starting to solidify not only why he is feared, but also how different he is from most Star Wars villains
Fun fact for you Holden, in the canon Thrawn books that I mentioned above, Thrawn actually knew Anakin after meeting him on a mission during the Clone Wars. Years later during the days of the Empire, Thrawn and Vader returned to the very same planet on a different mission and Thrawn essentially trolled Vader by knowing that he knew Vader and Anakin were the same person. If you ever want good reading material, the trilogy containing Thrawn, Thrawn: Alliances, and Thrawn Treason is fantastic
And to answer Jen’s question about how long it’s been since Rebels, it’s been around a decade or so. Rebels finale essentially takes place right around A New Hope, which is 0BBY (Before Battle of Yavin.) Then Empire Strikes Back is 3ABY (After Battle of Yavin), Return of the Jedi is 4ABY, and Mandalorian starts 9ABY. So given Ahsoka starts after S2 of Mando and run’s congruent with season 3, 10ABY is about where it falls
In the Norse (Viking) mythology there are two Wolf called Hati and Skoll (like Shin Hati and Baylan Skoll) this two wolfes are always chasing the moon but they can't never catch it, however the profecy say that one day they will Catch and Eat the moon and that simple action will start the Events of Ragnarok. I don't think that Dave Filoni named this two Characters without a good Reason, we know that George Lucas took inspiration from other cultures and Mithologies to create Stories/Characters.we can be sure that Filoni has a Huge plan for this two!
I thought the Sabine Ezra reunion was perfectly lined with how it would go in the animated version. Yes, light w Ezra crossing his arms n leaning. They had a nice embrace.. Ezras voice n mannerisms were really good... Thrawn 🎉😱 same voice actor. He is chilling... keep up the great work Jen n Holden!!
They are the storm troopers of the dead. The red stripes resembles the nightsisters dead sisters on Dathomir in the catacombs, so I would assume they are dead storm troopers.

In the main Star Wars continuity it's always been the same galaxy. In the EXU it was suggested that Palpatine's creation of the empire was because he foresaw a threat from another galaxy, and the republic was unable / illequiped to deal with it. A race of being strong in, or resistant of, the force, who used like bio-technology instead of the more sterile stuff we're used to seeing. It could be that Filoni may be building up to this eventual inter-galactic war

I can't say enough about how much I love Rosario Dawson's portrayal of Ahsoka Tano. She captures ALL the mannerisms and emotional agony over not only leaving Anakin's mentorship, but over his fall to the Dark Side and rebirth as Darth Vader.

I agree that the Sabine/Ezra reunion was underwhelming. Considering he sacrificed himself to save everyone ; and she has been struggling with that guilt through the entire season, I expect more emotion than a “what’s up” when they found each other.

Some pirates sold them Zabrak slaves with whom they interbred keeping the female children for the order and establishing a Nightbrother settlement for the males. The human-Zabrak hybrids of Dathomir were called Dathomiri-Zabrak like Darth Maul who was Mother Talzin's son. True Zabraks hail from their homeworld of Iridonia. By the time of the Clone Wars, all Nightsisters and Nightbrothers were Dathomiri-Zabrak hybrids. The Nightsisters debuted in the 1985 live-action TV movie "Battle for Endor".
The NEW CANON states the Nightsisters originated in this other galaxy and established outposts in the Star Wars galaxy before history was recorded pre-dating the RAKATAN INFINITE EMPIRE! This is a major deviation from established lore!

It's disorienting for LEGENDS fans to see LARS MIKKELSEN in the role of Thrawn because he is supposed to be a younger man with strikingly chiseled good looks and sharp cheekbones. However, I was prepped to accept the change by seeing "Rebels" and "The Witcher" where he played the wily mage Stregobor. It's good continuity keeping the voice actor and Mikkelsen did not disappoint.
CAPTAIN ENOCH with the gold faceplate is played by WES CHATHAM of "The Expanse" where he portrayed Amos Burton.
The troops are all bound by red Nightsister bandages and their cracked armor has been repaired using the KINTSUGI method of filling the gaps with gold lacquer. Thrawn says their numbers have dwindled and he's reluctant to commit too many troops to track Sabine. I bet these guys are mostly ZOMBIE TROOPERS like Marrok the Inquisitor.
BAYLAN and SHIN are the stars of the show! RAY STEVENSON is killing it in this part! What's calling out to this man? What do the Nightsisters wish to get away from? How can it break the cycle of war? Is it possible the YUUZHAN VONG are lurking somewhere nearby? I sure hope so!

Season 4 of Mandalorian is confirmed. Not sure about a season 2 for this yet. Maybe we'll have more news after the finale for this show since the writers strike is wrapping up.

Didn't realise at first but the Chimera left Lothal as an ISD-I and appears in this episode as what looks like an ISD-II.
100% agreed about the emotionality (or lack thereof). I never cared for Ezra or Sabine, but having sat through all four season of _Rebels_ and all of _Ahsoka_ so far, I admit I expected a little more enthusiasm than the greeting of two bros meeting up during winter break after not seeing each other during their first semester at different colleges.

Shin intrigues me most. You notice the two times Shin fought Sabine, she had been instructed to. So she did. But every scene with Shin and Sabine together, Shin is watching and measuring Sabine. Because Baylan was a Jedi, and Sabine is apprenticed to a Jedi, I think she's watching Sabine to see how different they really are. And when Shin calls out Baylan, it's (to my mind) a callback to Baylan and Morgan, Baylan said it would be a shame to kill a Jedi because there's so few left.
Figured it out. Baylan Skoll is trying to get rid of the two groups, jedi and sith and make them into one group as force users. He got tired of the conflict between force users and now sees that the only way to stopping the cycle is by uniting all force users. That's the new beginning he seeks.
There is also a movie announced from James Mangold, how the first Jedi ever figured out how to you use the force. The movie is supposed to take place 25‘000 years before the movies.
"Something calls to me...can't you hear it?" I have 2 theories. 1st is, this power could be Abeloth, or it 2nd, it could be Zeffonian in nature. Those were Zeffonian runes all over the temple where the Night Sisters and Thrawn were. Baylon made the statement about this planet being the land of dreams and nightmares, which again makes me think of Abeloth. The Night Sisters are very eager to get off the planet. Also Ezra has upgraded his hemet collection hobby to instead wearing "Chain mail" made from dark trooper dog tags. One other thing, is I believe these dark troopers to be undead. Their armor has been fixed in the fashion of Kintsugi. Which is applying gold to fix something broke. And they have red scarves wrapped around their armor. They are filled with Night Sister dark magic.

Every trip taken to Kamino in Star Wars Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars was outside the main Star Wars galaxy since Kamino was an extra-galactic planet. Although going to a whole other galaxy is a new thing for current Star Wars.

There are other galaxies that has been visited, most notably in terms of movies in Episode 2 there is mention of Rishi Maze, a dwarf galaxy outside of the main one and Kamino was near it.
I would hardly count that considering its proximity to the galaxy with the Republic, it was small and in a decaying orbit practically right next to kamino. I guess yea it is a galaxy but to me that's like saying we went to another planet because we landed on the moon.

Sabine's fixation on Ezra and not telling him what's happening is going to get people killed. I love seeing Claudia Black as one of the Night Sisters. The planet looks decimated..you have to ask yourself what/who decimated it.
