I am from India and a Christian and I love this Chosen series. I cried watching the series. It's really heart-touching. Lots of love from India.... ❤❤❤❤
@surajprasad9866 My favorite Indian Christian teacher and probably the best Christian teacher in the world today is Zac Poonen (CFC - Christian Fellowship Church). If you don't know about him yet, you will love his teachings about following Christ.
I married an abusive man. He made me pay for the neglect and abuse he suffered as a child. In 2014, I almost died from pneumonia and vasculitis, which is cancer of the immune system, and used our red blood cells to attack us. I was on a ventilator for 9 days. During that time the Lord Jesus spoke to me about forgiveness. When the ventilator was removed, I called my husband and he came to see me. When he arrived, I said to him, "All is forgiven." He wept. And the weight of our past was lifted. He seeks the Lord Jesus now.
My husband passed away just a few months before I started watching The Chosen. My grief was still very raw when I watched Season 4. It was really hard for me. When Episode 3 ended I sat in the theatre crying my eyes out. I couldn't move. But I am thankful God showed me some valuable things during The Chosen, Season 4, Episodes 3 and 4. Thank you, Dallas Jenkins, and all the others who make this possible.
Immediately after seeing this episode in theaters, my friend and I were sitting in my car talking about forgiveness. I was talking to her about my oldest brother and us not having talked for many months. I told her I have prayed to understand do I need to forgive, wait for him to reach out, or cut off the relationship to move forward and I didn’t have a clear answer. Told her I’m sure I’d have a sign from the Lord “soon” we laughed…… in THAT moment my phone rang connected to my car and it was my brother… I looked at her with my eyes the size of golf balls and said that’s my brother… She stayed there for the conversation and after we just sat in shock and silence for a bit. Talk about a POWERFUL moment after powerful episodes.
My youngest brother and I had a fallout almost 2 months ago. I'm heartbroken. I apologized at least twice and asked how do I make things better. I pray daily for me to forgive and how to regain out relationship. Thank you for thoughts!
@@dmnguyen103 truly keep praying. It’s all in God’s time, which is why “soon” is always a humorous word. However in his time the right move forward will be revealed to you.
@@sierra_brown thank you for your advice!! I pray every day for him, just asking God to bless and keep him. Out of my hands and in Jesus's Hands and Heart

I am a aged man ; who loves Christian movies about Jesus; yes faith comes by hearing: yet a picture is worth a thousand words, and this searies is reaching deep into my heart and brings up emotions; hidden heart issues; softening and bringing healing to the bitter waters! Thanks!
I am an old-timer also, friend. Just wanted to say I enjoyed reading your words; you put into words something familiar to me but that I never thought to vocalize or write down
Many images can make a picture book for children. So this language of pictures can translate into any language because all languages have words for the images. We all have children's understanding compered to God and jesus said "suffer the little children to come on to me for such is the kingdom of God". Jesus uses images to tell stories when teaching. When you learn the images as a child you grow in knowledge you learn words from the images then become more knowledgeable. You learn how to speak and to have a conversation. Well its is like that with the kingdom of God. So when jesus is telling a parable he is communicating a different message that only people who are in the kingdom of God will understand. The father's children are the one who believe in the God of Abraham and their scripture contains the meaning of the images. This is how he had crowds 5000 strong those people knew the images and there word's. If you don't let the author tell you how to understand Scripture. And you don't follow it in the way the author intended you to. And you are not using christs teachings you are being antichrist and denying the holy spirit the author of Scripture. Check out Robert ferrell apocryphile1970
The Chosen has transformed me. Growing up Catholic I didn't know much about the bible. The Chosen has made hungry to learn about the bible which I am doing. I was recently baptized, and it was one of the greatest days of my live. Thank you, The Chosen team, for opening up heart to my faith again.
The Scriptures are read at every mass, the Holy Scriptures are accessible to all who wish to read them The problem was not the Catholic Church, but you. However, I am happy that you are baptized
I cried soooooo hard. Forgiveness is a gift you give to someone. This is hands down the best Series ever written ! I love every single episode ! Watching from New Brunswick Canada ❤ 🇨🇦 ❤
@@aheartonfire7191.... That is probably the most 👎... Comment I have ever heard about this series and I have watched every single episode... In fact multiple times
Forgiveness is a gift. Not only to the other person, but to yourself. These days, when I forgive somebody, I don't do it for them. I do it for my own wellbeing. If I don't forgive, I end up harboring hatred or some other thing against another. I just can't do that anymore. Also: Forgiving oneself for the things done in life is probably the most difficult.
Forgiveness allows you to break that which ties you to that other person . It frees you without letting that other person off the hook as it were . Failing to forgive puts that person in prison and you are the prison warden . This means you are both in prison together . This has been taught to me and it was shown at the cross when Jesus forgave his killers .
I was struggling with an issue at work. “I have only one thing to do today… follow Him. The rest takes care of itself.” That actually settled the issue.
Thank you. Your comment helped me with my own struggle with my place of employment..... its my job to follow Jesus and let the rest take care of itself, while following His guidance, leading, and direction, which is to "let go" of the situation and keep being a good example, do my best, and focus on Him.😁
Just remember, our God is bigger than any issue we face. He knows ALL the circumstances surrounding it, that we do not. Trust in Him to handle it, according to His will. Once you trust and have faith in that, you will have let go and let God take it from you. You'll feel different and just watch how He works in it. God IS SO Good!!!!
That interview was fantastic. Those guys made that scene of forgiveness as real as I’m here on my daybed. I’ve learned so much about forgiveness in my life, & it has done wonders in my soul. This episode wrecked me. I'm a grieving mother who with God and His grace helped me to forgive my daughter's murderer. You did an excellent job on forgiveness ❤
@@-franca495 Opposite sides of same coin if you love God then you are obedient, if you are obedient then you love God, can't have the one without the other. God bless.
John the Baptist's breaking of his chains is so powerful ! I watched it repeatedly. Later I came upon Pastor Wilkinson's sermon. At the end he prayed for us to grieve over how our sin binds us. The very last words he spoke were, "break the chains that ARE Binding, Alleluia!, Give Him thanks, Give Him praise!" How immensely meaningful that prayer now is to me since The Chosen's portrayal of JBT's life and death !
My son is a police officer. The man that shot him as he was responding to a domestic abuse situation was just sentenced to prison after two years in court. The man requested to speak to him and told him he was sorry. My son shook his hand, hugged him, and told him he forgives him. It was very emotional but that forgiveness has been a positive step in dealing with the PTSD that followed. 🙏🏼
Thank you to everyone who had anything to do with the filming and production of The Chosen. You have helped with my spiritual growth more than you will ever know. God Bless each and everyone of you.❤
The holyspirit wrote Scripture through men of God and all scripture is inspired by God. Ok lets talk about it the holyspirit wrote Scripture through men of God so the holyspirit God's wisdom is the understanding scripture is written in and this how it is inspired by God. Jesus taught a doctrine of spirit his teachings are his wisdom because God is a trinity the father son and holyspirits understanding is the father's and son's wisdom also. As Jesus said you must eat my flesh and drink my blood because Jesus's blood is living water the same wisdom and understanding that wrote Scripture through men was the same understanding Jesus's was teaching. So without the holyspirit understanding we cannot know what God is saying Check out the guide book for the elect
This episode made me shed so much tears. I cried with Peter, I cried with Matthew. I was deeply touched by their reconciliation. It is indeed hard to forgive. But when you do, you become free and you simply open the door for many graces to flow. I truly love this new episode. Peter is so cute here.
I've seen alot of films retelling the stories of the Gospel. I guess Hollywood placed emphasis on the spectacular miracles of Jesus, opening blinded eye's, casting out devils, walking on water....and so on. What's different about the Chosen is that it show's us that Forgiveness, and Reconciliation, and acceptance, and Affirmation are some of the most powerful miracles, that touches our Hearts and Emotions and Intellect. Thank you for Reviving and Reigniting my love relationship with Jesus and reminding me of his Genuine Friendship.....
Watching from Chicago. I cried watching GOD's personal touch to Matthew. LORD JESUS didn't just say goodnight but, instead, kissed Matthew. I cried more when Simon Peter embraced Matthew in forgiveness 😢❤
When Eden said, "There are so many Simons in the world, but i have never met anyone named Peter. It suits you, one of a kind".... omg, you writers are so brilliant 😮😮😮 such a beautiful thing to say to your husband ❤ He's indeed one of a kind💥
Watching the full circle of forgiveness that closed with Simon Peter's long sincere hug made me cry for the first time in a long time while watching The Chosen. Thank You, LORD, for the powerful gift of forgiveness ❤
I love The Chosen and watch it every chance I have. I am 84 and watch every night over and over before my quiet time and going to bed. I share with everyone I know and many have found a new urge to read the Bible. Go's blessing on The Chosen and all who bring it to us.ShALOM shalom and maranatha!
That's wonderful, maybe you might like listening to Fr. Mike of Bible in a year. I just started my 2nd time yesterday. As a new believer it really helped me.
The scene between Peter and Matthew really got me. The actors don't seem as if they're acting at all. Their emotions are so real and raw. Love The Chosen.
This episode was written beautifully. I loved the scene with Jesus and Andrew talking about grief, and Jesus says that our hearts are so tender. All of our emotions are at the surface-- where mourning goes to laughter so easily.
Thank you for the chosen series. Its giving me the strength to go on. Im handicapped and cant walk very good. Cant work. Im battling very aggresive cancer. And Im facing more surgury for botched original cancer surgury. I have massive hematoma. I cant find dr. thats willing to do surgury. Its causing my arm to be mostly paralized. Watching this series reminds me that Jesus is with me, and loves me thru this terrible journey. And im forgiven for wanting to just give up. Also when i was 3 years old, i died and went to heaven. Jesus, or disciple appeared in this beautiful field of flowers. He was in white robe. He told me I needed to go back. That my mommy and daddy needed me. And others in my future would need me. I do hope i have helped some people over the years. Please pray for healing of my cancer, hematoma, lymphadema in legs and arm, severe knee and ankle arthritis, and bad cataracts. Also I lost my health insurance. Thanks so much for the series. It has helped me mentally and spiritually. ❤❤🙏🙏😢😢😭😭
I consider the characters in this series my best friends now. Each night, I pop an episode to settle in the night and to calm myself. It’s like having a deep talk with friends. My thoughts clear, and I become closer to God once again. I would be okay even if all TV shows disappear except The Chosen. It’s an anchor to my soul!
This show was what showed me who Jesus is when I knew very little about christianity. Thank you The chosen for all the hard work you put into this show so that people from all over the world can learn who Jesus is by watching a TV show. You guys are absolutely amazing!!:)
Please now get a Bible and go to a good protestant Bible teaching church....and forget about this show because much of it is fiction and gets some theological things massively wrong.
@@YTTraveler777Here is a protesting protestant 😅 I saw the first 3 seasons, there are invented characters and anachronisms regarding food, customs etc, but where are the theological errors? After watching the full episodes of the chosen my perspective for Jesus completely changed...now I'm born again with new life and full of grace...I love you Lord
This is my first time see this and i love it . i am battel in my eyes that do not want to see like it need to and i have to go to hospital and on this moment my family is alll busy in there own world . so no one can go by my side in this . and this after noon i walk up to my sister like that to tel her i do not want her to take me for she do not want to but every one is point to her . but when i see this Peter give me that moment to forgive .

I was so excited when The Chosen first came out, but some friends told me how this show was not true to the Word. So it is so eye-opening and encouraging to listen to you today saying that "the episodes are not the end-game... the bible studies are not supplements to the show, the shows are supplements to bible studies... we are not studying the show... we are studying the Bible." Although there are definitely some scenes, dialogue and backstories in the show that are not found in the Bible, I still believe it is an effective way to reach more people, especially those who have never heard or have heard only false ideas about Jesus. God bless the show and everyone involved in it.
I believe God is speaking to Me through this episode. Especially when Dallas said "The freedom that comes from forgiveness." I've been thinking about people that have wrong me in the past I haven't forgiven. I pray The Holy Spirit will help me in Jesus name 🙏.
Dallas, Amanda, and beautiful actors, what makes The Chosen so special in its presentations are the interviews, the post dialogue, the Biblical Round Tables. You thoroughly present all aspects of this spectacular show. Thank you and thank the Lord for guiding you through THE CHOSEN! We are all blessed by THE CHOSEN!

What an awesome way to proclaim the month of Jesus’ Sacred Heart (a Catholic devotion)! Exemplary writing, direction, acting, and background, combined with the greatest story ever told, is truly helping some of us get a picture of Jesus heart and humanity, as well as divinity. Another fantastic episode! I’ll be praying for you all 🙏🏻

He does to all who choose to believe in Him, trust Him and follow Him xx He will never leave you nor forsake you xxx Regardless of the day, moment or hour, God is akwwys with us.
The Chosen has blessed me beyond words. God has been definitely directing you and your team. You are masters in your work. This has been sent by God. I pray God will be with each of you.
I truly truly enjoyed Episode 2 , it showed how valuable the power of repentance and forgiveness is , I am so glad The Chosen is back you will have a great impact in this world. May you all be blessed !
God bless everyone who reads this post; let us pray for each other and ask God that this inspires people to read the Bible and live our lives so that we reflect Christ like a full moon that takes it's light from the sun.
my favorite seen is still the one of the woman with the bleeding problem; she was so embarrassed, so ashamed for not asking, feeling so guilty and then Jesus said "it is your faith that healed you!" She was so happy to hear that she started crying.
This show is the best thing that has ever happened in my life. This show and Lord Jesus is my only comfort! This amazing series bring a semblence of peace in my life and it is not easy having a judgemental, overly-criticizing and abusive family!!
We were in Saudi Arabia during Season 1 and my boy was 8. He grew up along with the seasons and now, nearly at 14 years, he teaches his 6 year old sister and is talking about The Chosen to his high school pals in the UK. “That’s how I think I spread the gospel, mum!!’ He says. We as a family, watched Episode1 of Season 4 and cried so much.. My 6 year old loves the shorts showing the on-screen memorizing of Psalm 115:1,2, .. she memorized along with you guys, instantaneously!! You have made our lives more beautiful and purposeful!! Forgiveness is very evident in this episode, which we all need to be reminded and applied. I’m going through a time where I need to ask for forgiveness. It’s not easy, but very rewarding, because it’s what God wants us to do so that we can be free. Great job!!!
Amazing work!!! Well done👍. Episode 2 touched my heart. Especially the part when Peter goes to Matthew and forgives him. I loved The Chosen. Every episode breaks and touches my heart. Blessed be the name of Jesus . Thank you Jesus for teaching us the power of forgiveness. Amen 🙌🙏💛

I like how they argue if Peter is an able leader, BUT when he roll-calls for the night, they all respond anyway 😅 1:00:14 AND he starts a prayer that they all end up reciting aloud together. BEAUTIFULLY done. 1:00:51 thanks again, Chosen Team! ❤ so I googled and it’s a traditional jewish prayer called Hashkiveinu, a prayer to sleep well and wake up alive next morning. We usually take it for granted, but when we go to sleep, we could wake up dead, as we joke. And our jewish ancestors knew not to take each sleep for granted. Thanks for this beautiful prayer.
i also felt the power of such praying in unison to dampen any disagreements and remind on something greater, the importance and benefit of which can be very easily overlooked in such heated moments...
I think Big James and John are going to struggle with Peter being the rock. They both mean well but need to work on "ego". They're still concerned with earthly things such as prestige, recognition and " having a title". Things we ALL need to work on, I'm sure.

@@amysill3815 what's wrong with the way you think? someone expresses how they got emotional in a positive way and you respond by saying they appreciated something that's not Biblical. How dense can you act?
It was done beautifully. I loved it when Thaddeus (I think that was the correct disciple) popped up from behind James and John as they were arguing about why Simon got the name change, and said “I am pretty sure Jesus was talking about Himself as the foundation”. I thought it was beautifully done. It made it clear that we all initially have the wrong interpretation… Peter, James and John certainly did at first too. Jesus says things that can be hard to understand in a world ruled by satan… gotta sit with Him and get to know Him to really understand.
@@amysill3815You are WRONG! Matthew 16 explicitly shows Jesus talks to both his disciples and Simon / Peter. 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his DISCIPLES, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And THEY (DISCIPLES) said, Some say that THOU (Jesus) art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto THEM (DISCIPLES), But whom say YE (DISCIPLES) that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, THOU (Jesus) art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto HIM (Simon), Blessed art THOU (Simon), Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto THEE (Simon), but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto THEE (Simon), That THOU (Simon) art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto THEE (WHO?) the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever THOU (WHO?) shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever THOU (WHO?) shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 20 Then charged he his DISCIPLES that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
I love the Chosen...These are amazing if I wasn't a believer already this would change me..I'm so encouraged more to live for Jesus after watching these episodes🙌🙌
Another great episode, ty guys, keep doing the Lord's will Simon/Peter, his "transition" was so well done, and the acting of everyone, especially Jonathan Roumie, was on point as ever! Can"t wait for the next episode. Greetings from France
the deep meaning of what this episode tries to convey; one of the messages that really meant so much is the one of forgiveness. Truly as we approach HIM, of all the things we may ask and cry out for - it should be mercy, seeking HIS forgiveness, HIS grace. Coming to Him in repentance. And even as we come into His presence, as He works in our life, we too seek the forgiveness of those we have wronged and forgive those who have done as wrong as well. Just so much here... that words would fail to fully explain
Who ever reads this… may God keep blessing you in your time of need ☺️

May God continue to bless you as you grow!

How can you be Catholic and not know the bible? Every mass has a scripture reading, a psalm, an epistle reading, and a gosphel reading.
This is not my comment. I was never Catholic and I grew up knowing the Bible very well. Someone stole my identity.

Saw the whole Season 4 in the theaters but still need to see it again! Thank you for this gift to the world!
the scene with Peter hugging Matthew was so powerful...
his action spoke louder than words
I cried soooooo hard. Forgiveness is a gift you give to someone. This is hands down the best Series ever written ! I love every single episode ! Watching from New Brunswick Canada ❤ 🇨🇦 ❤
And yourself
This is not true. Satan is the father of lies!@@aheartonfire7191
No episode since season one that I didn’t cry like a baby! I love The Chosen!!!!❤❤❤

When Peter Hugged Matthew, That Was Awesome!
👏🙏🏾
My son is a police officer. The man that shot him as he was responding to a domestic abuse situation was just sentenced to prison after two years in court. The man requested to speak to him and told him he was sorry. My son shook his hand, hugged him, and told him he forgives him. It was very emotional but that forgiveness has been a positive step in dealing with the PTSD that followed. 🙏🏼
My husband was career law enforcement and picturing your post brings forgiveness into such an amazing light, as with Peter and Matthew. ❤
So glad your Son is ok and that he was able to forgive the man that shot him. Your Son is amazing and blessed by God.

Thank you to everyone who had anything to do with the filming and production of The Chosen. You have helped with my spiritual growth more than you will ever know. God Bless each and everyone of you.❤
when did you find the Chosen?
So without the holyspirit understanding we cannot know what God is saying

"The Chosen" has changed my life and many others I'm sure. Shalom from SE Oklahoma! Love and prayers 🙏🏻💖
Watching from Chicago. I cried watching GOD's personal touch to Matthew. LORD JESUS didn't just say goodnight but, instead, kissed Matthew. I cried more when Simon Peter embraced Matthew in forgiveness 😢❤
Most emotional moment for me was when John broke the chains that held him captive. He is truly free now. ✝️🕊️
Same!! Just that profound thought of scripture, HE sets the captives free!!
@@cara5680 I also liked the way John kinda gestures with his hand to Walk. Letting Him know that the Path is prepared for Him. Shalom ✝️

As a Mexican fan it was endearing to hear them talk about Latin America 🥹 specially Shahar ❤ I loved hearing him speak Spanish in the interviews!!

Thank you to everyone who has been part of creating and promoting "The Chosen". You all are doing God's work. Thank you so much.

so I googled and it’s a traditional jewish prayer called Hashkiveinu, a prayer to sleep well and wake up alive next morning.
Well spotted
I think Big James and John are going to struggle with Peter being the rock. They both mean well but need to work on "ego". They're still concerned with earthly things such as prestige, recognition and " having a title". Things we ALL need to work on, I'm sure.

But in scripture passage, Yeshua doesn't call Peter the rock,
He calls what Peter SAID, the rock, that is, that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God. THAT'S the " rock" the church is to be built on. Not Peter, a mere man.

Yes, but Jesus was speaking directly to Peter, no one else. The director got the scene quite wrong and it was unbiblical. Too bad.
What a call. What is He calling us to do. A sacrifice of suffering.
The chosen has taught me so much and how to understand the Bible so much more.

the deep meaning of what this episode tries to convey; one of the messages that really meant so much is the one of forgiveness.
Hermoso capítulo, gracias. Dios los bendiga el perdón es lo qye más cuesta. Solo el espíritu santo nos da ese don
