My brother died today unexpectedly. I wish the Lord would command my brother to come out. But, the Lord knows best. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord
@@shamgirl240 Congratulations shamgirl on your return! I'm 66 and found the truth about Jesus when I was 58. I could no longer deny the verdical evidence.
Jesus told them how important their work is, but I don’t believe that they would have been able to conceive just how much an impact their work would have
When my 14 year old daughter, Jennifer was killed by a drunk driver in 1998 NC, I asked the Lord, 'Why.' My thoughts said, 'You are God and you know why you took her home. I don't understand but I trust in you and know you have her.' I was blessed to have a dove upon the wire above where we found her body, it sat there for three days. I remember the Holy Spirit entering me on my left side (significance of left side?) and the peace that came. Mourning with peace is very ... no words. A week after I heard her audible voice as I showered, she said, "Mom, remember me the way I am now." I thought to myself, 'How are you now? oh, you're with Jesus!' God allowed her to speak to me, and those words have brought me through the hard times over these past 26 years. Other miraculous things happened, too much to mention here. Our God lives and reigns above all and he will do according to his own will, and we must trust him and continue to look at the big picture, eternity with God. Holy is the name of the Lord Jesus the Christ.
Gosh sandy im so sorry! Your faith is strong and beautiful . I lost a niece when age was barely 17 and a nephew at 16. One family believers , the other not so much. That brother drank himself to death 😩🙏🏻❤️ God bless you. You will see your daughter again in heaven!
Amen. We weep for the loved one we've lost. Death can be selfish for those that are left behind for we feel pain and sorrow that our time with them here on Earth has ended. But they are blessed in the kingdom of heaven and in the arms of our Lord Jesus. I couldn't think of a better place for them to be. Rejoice and take comfort in that. We will be reunited with them in time.
My 7 y/o daughter died in 1998 in a tragic accident. No one truly understands why these things happen, but as the years have passed, which are many, the pain has lessened. The Lord has comforted me. Jesus wept at the loss of Lazarus and the things to come. Jesus truly is a man of sorrows acquainted with grief and his Holy Spirit is a true comforter. How we make it through life after such a loss, a loved one so dear, is a miracle. It’s not selfish how we respond to death. I remember all to well the indescribable pain I felt when my daughter was tragically killed. There was a void and as if a cord of connection was severed. It took many years and Jesus love to heal that pain. And now I try, humbly, to help others through that pain with prayer, love and simply being there. I read a book many moons ago called “What Would Jesus Do” and I try to ask myself that question when in difficult circumstances. I look forward to the glorious reunion with all my loved ones, we’ll all be with Jesus. That is such a comfort.
dearest sandy, your faith is beautiful. GOD has richly blessed you. my heart aches for you and your family that your daughter left earth side horrifically and soooo.... young. yet her life heaven side has had this amazing, beautiful story for you to share GOD'S good purpose and for HIS glory years longer than her precious life here. thank you for sharing your love... continued blessings.🕊
This was a sad episode for me. I’ve been a believer for over 40 years and to remember our Savior wept, was crushing. He was acquainted with grief. I am ever thankful for Him loving me enough to die for me. I don’t deserve and yet He calls me and wants me. I am very thankful for this show and how it is bringing His story to many who are lost and encouragement to those of us who walk with Him now. What a gift! God be with those who write, behind the cameras, those who act and all others. May God move in their hearts and guide them in the next few seasons. They will be very hard seasons. Prayers for everyone.
Mary Magdalene told Matthew she had been having dreams, so when she was peering into the tomb and touching the stone I thought it might have been because of her dreams.
I think God had to get new bottles to save all the tears cried with this episode. The thought of Jesus being hurt in his heart, or the dread he felt about His own death, crushes me. He did it for me, He did it for you. Every step he walked, every breath He took, all of His discomfort, was for us. 😢 And we do the things we do everyday, waste a chance to help someone, and all the other stupid things , we are not worthy
A good friend of mine once preached a sermon about Lazarus called "Dead, Defeated and Dangerous." Lazarus was dead and Jesus resurrected him, when he walked out of the tomb, he still had on his burial clothes so he was defeated. But once people heard about him, he was dangerous to the Pharisees because he was walking living proof of the power of Jesus.
Because of the evidence of his resurrection, he became a steadfast follower of Jesus. He rattled some Jews who rejected Christ & they plotted to kill him, forcing him to flee from Judea. Some said he went to a town in France & built a church there. Eventually, he landed on Cyprus & met Barnabas & Paul. Later, Lazarus became The Church leader in a town named Kition in Cyprus. Lazarus passed away for the 2nd & final time in Cyprus. His grave was found with an inscription: "Lazarus friend of Jesus."
Best episode yet. I lost my brother three years ago tragically. I prayed with all my might for him to be ok before we knew that we had lost him. Worst day of my life. But I never lost my faith. I didn’t understand it, just like it’s said so much in this episode, but I continued to trust my Lord and my God…my Everything. Life is now, bitter, intermingled with the sweet, all the time. But the sweet is that, my brother, Erik Peter, loved the Lord with all his heart…and so do I. So we will see each other again. Without that Hope, I don’t think I could find a way. But Jesus made a way and I am so eternally grateful.
I am 18 years old and i’m from Dallas, TX, I love Jesus Christ, his story is the greatest story ever told, he died for our sins, performed miracles, talked in parables. Jesus was a very smart man who was humble, humorous and kind, wise and sinless. The only way we can get to heaven is to grow our relationship with Jesus Christ, repent, allow God to turn your heart into flesh so that you can become a new creature.
I have heard about Saint Issa (Jesus) learning and teaching in India! Notovich from Russia uncovered some of this through writings in the temples in India! The Unknown Life of Jesus Christ by Nicolas Notovitch 1890's.
For me, the hurt that Thomas feels is very relatable. How many have lost a loved one when we have prayed and begged for their lives only to mourn them and wonder why WE could not have our prayers answered. Thomas watched as Jesus wept, but he did not understand that we all suffer at times yet God never abandons us to this world. A very powerful episode indeed
Yes, definitely I begged Jesus to save my young son, he died. One of the prayers I prayed was you raised Lazarus..why? But Jesus carried me every step of the way and every day, without him I would not have survived the loss. And I know we will meet again and my mourning will turn to dancing.
@@Mir_Nohtiif you think all Jesus did is found within the three gospels I’m sorry to tell you but you’re wrong. The Bible is a sacred text, but there isn’t room enough in this world for the things Jesus did and said
I am from a Hindu background and when I began to follow Jesus, my family chucked me out. They took my younger son away and sent him with his dad who remarried another Hindu lady. I and my older son had to struggle so much. After about 8yrs I heard that my younger son also had severe psychological issues. How many times I would have asked the Lord "why" like Thomas, like Mary, even like Judas - why struggle? - a sign of failure while we are supposed to be overcomers! It is by being partakers of his suffering that we are sanctified and become transformed into His image!
@sunshinespectra885 I wonder how many people have had your sad experience, and that of your younger son. I hope you keep peace in Christ with your older son, and that your younger son finds his way back to you.
@@kvin949 Thank you so much. Yes, in India, it's a real challenge to be a disciple of Jesus. Many people have a threat to their lives too. I have a lovely couple who took me and my older son in with them. I came to Christ also through them and now we are a family!
Thank you Holy Spirit for descending upon the writers, actors, directors, behind the scene people, etc. in making The Chosen a reality. Season 4, Episode 7 captivates the soul. Jonathan Roumie's portrayal of Jesus crying over Lazarus' death, showed the depth of his feelings over Jesus' humanity. "A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief", Jesus was truly human like us. And how He loves us, unworthy as we are. Thank you again....
FUN FACT: Lazarus, the man with 2 graves. One in Bethany, the other in Larnaka, Cyprus. After Jesus' resurrection, he helped the Apostles to spread The Gospel as the evidence of body & spirit resurrection. He had to run away from Judea because there was a plot from the Jews who rejected Christ to kill him. Lazarus ran away to Cyprus & met Barnabas who was the leader of The Church there. After some time, Barnabas & Paul appointed him to be the leader of The Church in Kition (ancient name for Larnaka) in Cyprus. Early Christian tradition said that Lazarus never smiled/laughed after his resurrection because he was worried about the unredeemed souls he saw in Hell. The one time he laugh was when he saw someone stole a clay pot. Lazarus laughed & said, "The clay steals clay." Lazarus lived for 30 years after his resurrection. His 2nd & final grave was discovered in Larnaka, Cyprus, with an inscription: "Lazarus friend of Jesus." His relic is still available in The Church of St. Lazarus in Larnaka.
Thank you so very much for the information. You like me and so many others share in the same curiosity when comes to those who was followers of our God Jesus Christ. I know I have researched two of the disciples. I know everytime I read something it always fascinates me to know that these were real life people with the same issues the we have in today's modern world that I can truly relate to. Those people felt joy and pain and the Best part for them was they got to be in the presence of our lord Jesus and got to follow him daily and witness his act of compassion and love for a world of people.
Watching the Chosen always touches me because I feel like the disciples do. Often, I question "why?" When my husband died, I was angry. I knew that God could have healed his heart, and he would have lived longer. He was only 46. Our kids were 6 and 10 years old. It's still hard, but I have to accept that God's ways are not our ways.
Your experience is true today, not in the times of Jesus and His disciples walking and living so close to the Creator and Healer of the Universe. It’s not biblical this experiences of Thomas and his girl friend , Mathew, little James been handicap and Peter’s wife losing a baby. We need to ask God today, why for every individual experience as a Christian to understand the reason of events happening in our lives. I pray God bless you and heal you from your loss.
When Mary (Lazarus's sister) came running out and wept at Jesus's feet, just destroyed by the loss of her brother, it broke me. I wept with her. What an incredible piece of acting. I believed her grief in my soul. Well done.
In India we have idols that people worship, when we talk about trusting God with Faith and worshiping Him in Truth abd Spirit it sounds absurd for them....i guess this is the very reason that Thomas had to go through trusting in our Lord Jesus without seeing....probably he'd have preached his part of the story of not believing in the resurrection until He saw the Lord in flesh and bones and that part where Jesus says Blessed are those who do not see yet believe, i took it seriously and i believed in Jesus because of this verse, as i too was a Hindu needed something to see and worship it was a difficult thing for me yet Our Lord Jesus made it so simple for me. Now when i close my eyes i see Him through my Spirit as Bright light....as in Him there's no darkness 😊
I appreciated the shift to the future with Mary and Matthew. Speaking about Little James being persecuted and murdered. Bits of foreshadowing of what is to come. Of what it meant to be a follower of Christ.
The thing is in episode 1 season 2 they were already mourning for big James so that's why Mary said he doesn't have to suffer anymore! The writers did not mix the two characters of James don't worry😊
@@AngelicaMayorga_AMAdesign big James was addressed in season 3. There showing now little James being martyred. What it truly is to serve Jesus. Look at the times we’re in preachers are being cursed out and spit on. The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few
The grief of Jesus was so painful to see then ever because now I am so much more aware that he wasn't just son of God but also very truly human. He was grieving because he was human and understood pain and fear. And the fact that he still compelled to his father's will even with those human feelings shows he also is truly the son of God.
It's amazing how Jesus started his ministry at a wedding feast (weddings are a celebration of new beginnings), and then His last miracle was in the grave (the "end" of all things). But Jesus showed that the grave is not the end for believers. The first miracle launched His public ministry and His last miracle launched His passion. Praise be to Jesus our Lord and Savior for this wonderful show.
Jesus wept😢 Now I truly understand why....This was profound and deep. The best episode so far, Thank you Team Chosen ❤ Thank You Lord Jesus, Love You forever ❤
I wish we had the original! Wow what a great thing that would be, to have all the tablets and scrolls he wrote that eventually were brought together to make the gospel! I wonder if he put his comments on the sides like I do, his emotions and shock! Mark and Matthew are the only two actually written by them in their lifetimes, the rest shortly after by their students. How I'd would love to know how they felt, the show puts a human aspect to it, but to see their markings on the papers in the actual source material from the exact moment! As the older wiser men who finished the work were far from the boys who walked and witnessed it, and I dont care kf I'm 60, those boys emotions and mine would be more similar then the adults they became later. Mark was where i started reading the new testament, it was the first put together whole, and I started as a historian , not as a Christian, so the letters, Mark, Matthew, then acts , Luke and John, finishing with revelations. Changed my life forever, not right away, but in pieces and jumps over years, the seed was planted and grew, still grows everyday a bit.
Wow, so powerful, best presentation of the resurrection of Lazarus I've ever seen. - tears in my eyes as I consider being resurrected (or raptured) and seeing the face of my Redeemer. My Lord Jesus You are our resurrection. You are the Son of God, God the Son.
My whole body shook when watched the scene that he called out Lazarus and he came out of the cemetery. Im thinking how it would be the deep pain, tension, surpise, shock and all those emotions there and just witnessing one great miracle of God. It terrifies the human soul. Oh our creator that we worship is just unimaginable. Im so grateful i found him.

My heart is racing during this scene. I understand Thomas's questioning him. This is sooooooo heavy. His thoughts are not our thoughts nor his ways our ways. His timing is not our timing. HE is a healer though and will comfort you in times of need and not understanding why, I know this from personal experience. This soooooo gooood.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Your wife has left you with the right thing to do a piece of God's heart and his ways which compells you continue on in your grief just as he did to save souls. What wonderful thing it is to hear so many stories like yours being told but in the name of Jesus is that we can share and empathize with one another in our grief and show his compassion to our sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus. You're not alone God is with you and he's carrying you through this. May God continue to be with you and strengthen you in your journey with him. Your wife would be so proud of you. @@cascarrabias397 Thomas' wife? was not killed, Dallas just added that tidbit for drama so Thomas does not have to accept anything. Dallas was using his "Creative Rights" to change what really happened. That was no OK in this situation.
Don’t use this as truth. Everything happens through faith. Jesus told the woman with issue of blood your faith has healed you. Mari and Martha were such hard believers and had such faith they probably expected something like this to happen and that’s why it happened. The chosen portrays everything like He picks and chooses who gets healed and who doesn’t. That’s just sad!! I know through experience and knowledge of the Bible that everything happens through faith. The reason some don’t get heal is simply because there is no faith. So many think prayer heals people. That is works. Prayer heals nothing. It’s only fertilizer to faith. I love to watch these to get physical sense of the desiples but they betrayed this absolutely wrong. Jesus healed everybody. He says that over and over. They need to stop portraying it like he did not. There is only one suggestion that he did not heal, and that was in his hometown and it says because of their unbelief he could not do miracles.
@@cmcer1995 I know that. I know the scriptures. But in this episode looks like anybody who die must be resurrected by Jesus for the heck of it. Jesus didn't come to fulfill cravings, he come in a mission, to make another covenant. So stop crying for Thomas, he was not invited to join the 12, he volunteered after his water turned into wine. In this series he could go out anytime and leave to get married somewhere else.
Lazraus reciting Isaiah brought me to tears. Man of sorrows!! Thank you Jesus for bearing the shame that i may walk in glory. Praise be to you Lord Almighty
What an amazing touching episode! The moment when "Jesus Wept" and Lazarus was raised from the dead. Our Lord and Savior truly does understand our real humanity, all the bitter and the sweet. Shalom
@@Myriam-MinisterIn the Bible it doesn't say why he wept, but in the show does anyone know why he wept? He wept because he had to let his friend die, raise him after 4 days, and no one seen what he was showing them, which was his own path and suffering, he wept because he felt alone and that no one was listening to what he said or supported what he was really telling them.
This was one of my favourite episodes in the entire series. Not because of the big, resurrection scene, but for its little moments. Martha speaking to Mary in just one shot for the entire scene, Mary Magdalene walking over to the tomb, Jesus with Lazarus, it was all so lovely. It could really work on its own as a single film.
Dallas, your ability to make the stories from the Bible relatable and understanding is a gift. They have brought a new understanding of faith to me. You have be CHOSEN by God to do this work. The Bible is meant to be interpreted to each of us. Your interpretation is real and relatable. May God contonue to bless you! 1:25:27
I like how "Church Tradition" was mixed in here with the flash-forward: Mary was said to have lived out the rest of her days in a cave in Gaul (France) and it appears that this scene insinuates that this might be a refuge for Christians on the run as well as a make-shift Church.
@ fenu3587 from what I gather, Dallas said that this was just something made up and not connected to that at all. Plus the portrayal of Mary in the Chosen is completely different to what the gnostic gospel of Mary has, so I don’t think it’s a reference to that. I still don’t think they should have done it, but it isn’t an endorsement of that by any means, I think.
@@samueljennings4809 Dallas said he found it completely plausible she would have written something. That statement in itself is implausible as women in those days (even wealthy ones) would not have been literate and although more educated Christians would know that the gospel of Mary Magdalene is not a credible work it could lead some astray in believing it is a legitimate writing of hers
@@fenu3587 I have been wondering about these rabbit holes that are not accurate. In the first few seasons a joke or whatever to fill in between the lines is one thing but this season has been a huge distraction from the actual story. I am disappointed they have chosen to lead people down these inaccurate paths.
She was a Jew, not Christian. They never created a new religion, Rome did. Negating this fact is the same thing actual Jews do. Let's stop negating his roots. They celebrate the Chanukah (and in the book We can also see it), so They weren't Christians.
This really hit home on the deepest level at this stage in my life, questioning Jesus but still with great respect and love, with so many emotions. Thank you.
It's great blessing to have such excellent work on Bible and JESUS' life. My husband and I were talking this morning that it is because of The Chosen we are able to learn the name of JESUS' Disciples and many more about JESUS. love from Pakistan ❤
The world of emotions in that resurrection scene. It was a great hope and joy for Lazarus & his sisters, and such a bitter surprise to Thomas. It was hard to determine which fueled more of my emotion. And then Mary talking about that balance between the joy and the grief in that monologue- this was an artfully, poetically made episode.
This series is perfect timing with everything going on in the world...the evil and corruption being exposed....many are turning to Jesus and God....thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤
This was my favorite episode from the entire series. I have Disk Degenerate Disease, and I’m young. I have never seen a character aside from Little James that portrayed the physical pain I’m going through every day. Towards the end of the episode, when Little James was laying in bed struggling to move around, I’ve never related to any character more in my entire life. Everything about this episode was amazing - the writing, acting, everything. ❤
The writing and acting in The Chosen is a "once-in-a-lifetime" scenario. This series is a blessing from GOD when we need it the most. HE ALWAYS KNOWS WHEN.....
Very, very appreciative of this program. Definitely major impact on my life. While very extremely ill with Stage 4 Cancer, along with two other Cancers, this may have saved my life. Am fully recovered, Cancer-free, and very well (physically and mental) now.
"It hurts my heart", Jesus said to Thomas and they cried. I don't understand this long ongoing pain Lord , but please be with me and my mom, sister, and my children.
My father died recently, it hurts me so much but I know my Jesus and how much he wanted him. So every day I ask him to take care of my dad. He is in good hands.
Today, I'm traveling to the memorial service for my 49 year old son next Saturday. I know he is with Jesus... that Jesus has him, but it's still very painful because our children aren't supposed to precede us. Yet I know he and Jesus are watching over the whole family. Praise be to God!
What a series! What an episode!! What a scene, this raising of Lazarus!!! May the Lord Jesus bless you all abundantly! Millions must have turned to Him after watching your series. Thank you. -Joseph Lobo, India
So cool to see Peter become a rock and develop in his faith. From a chaotic fisherman to the foundation he wants to be for his brethren. Maybe Jesus and God knew how important a new name would be for him.
Jesus' crying with Mary shows how He grieve with us when a loved one of ours dies. Jesus, our God knows the pain of losing through death, and this scene shows how much He truly love every single one of us
The scene where Zee cuts off the branch of a tree and peels its skin it made me realize, that it indicated towards the crucification of Jesus as how He could feel the connection He had With Father was completely cut off and the way He was tortured by the romans soldiers and all the religious leaders as they peel off His skin ( they whipped Him and gave Him the crown of thorns to wear )and distributed His clothes among each other which we can find in the four gospels...... And this is just the realization i found when i saw that scene 😅😅 God bless you Mr. Dallas and the whole chosen team you are doing a wonderful job... Love from India ❤❤😊😊
I wait to watch these when the are relased. Extra happy to be watching with other believers. Can you imagine the party we will all be having one day? We are gonna know each other guys!
I just saw s4 e7 for the first time. I’m a fan of the show, and I enjoy all episodes, all seasons. Thanks for all your hard work in spite of Satan’s desire to stop it all. For s4 e7 one word comes to mind…BRILLIANT! Thanks again!
With each episode my heart opens up and it's hard to hold on the tears... the inmensity of pain in Tomas eyes, put in perspective the fact that we all face when things we don't understand happen in our lives and we doubt, we question God... but just with time we get to see and understand the reasons why things happen. It was nice to see that Jesus kept telling Tomas to keep looking at him, to focus on him, despite of the pain he was suffering.
Still deeply moved by this episode...wanted to convey another thought. 3 Mary's were shown in this episode who didn't just understand and get what Jesus was saying and doing back then while most of His male disciples had doubts, questions but these women were faithful disciples, one with Jesus in their love, devotion and actions towards Him. Truly inspiring!
I'm so blessed by this series. The Lord Jesus as human, and the disciples became so real! I read the Bible differently now. I'm deeply touched, there are crying and laughter, and it strengthens my faith. 🤲

I needed this episode. I walk the paths of both Mary and Little James, freed from darkness and walking in pain and there is such peace in this episode, thank you.
The first time this season I wept. Maybe it is my own brothers untimely death. Maybe it was the deeper revelation that the Gospels were eye witness accounts. Not thst I didn't know this before, but the heartfelt knowledge that these books are stories that are far more than their accounts. They are lessons and messages that they would die to share with the world. Nothing new, just deeper understanding.
Beautiful episode. Mary did sum everything up, I could see Thomas pain and his questions and yet following Jesus is about Faith even when you don't understand, just have Faith.
Not used to this, but my favorite episode keeps changing!! How can it not be this though?! So beautifully done and so deep and meaningful on so many levels. Immensely grateful that The Chosen has happened to the media world.❤
I'm very appreciative of how true to the Biblical account The Chosen writers are. They're accurate with what is written and when they fill in the blanks with "sanctified imagination" they do so in ways that are so in-keeping with the spirit of the biblical narrative. the music during Mary’s monologue is one of the best music in the Chosen. it’s haunting and eerie as it forshadows what’s to come. But somehow still it has this hint of hope. Bittersweet. just, beautifully created. You can clearly see the passion in the storytelling and filmaking

When my 14 year old daughter, Jennifer was killed by a drunk driver in 1998 NC, I asked the Lord, 'Why.' My thoughts said, 'You are God and you know why you took her home. I don't understand but I trust in you and know you have her.'
I was blessed to have a dove upon the wire above where we found her body, it sat there for three days.
That brother drank himself to death 😩🙏🏻❤️
God bless you. You will see your daughter again in heaven!
I lost a son 42 years ago. He's in my heart every day. Never forgotten. It's how it is, and you know this ache as well. Good share by you, and thanks.
I absolutely love Mary Magdalene touching the grave!
Foreshadowing!
I can’t wait for THAT moment in the show!
A poignant moment. Liz wept, I wept, lots of us wept😢
Foreshadowing - exactly my thought.
I can
Mary Magdalene told Matthew she had been having dreams, so when she was peering into the tomb and touching the stone I thought it might have been because of her dreams.
But once people heard about him, he was dangerous to the Pharisees because he was walking living proof of the power of Jesus.
that sounds like a powerful message. I would have loved to listen to it
This miracle drove the Sadducees nuts. They didnt believe in the Resurrection.
AMEN!!!

THE STORY OF LAZARUS IS FOUND IN JOHN CHPT 11, THAT'S WHY IF YOU NOTICE, ONLY JOHN IS TAKING NOTES AT THIS POINT. BEAUTIFUL!!!
Wow amazing perspective

I am so sorry for your loss. Peace of Christ to you ♥
I love the Chosen!
Thankyou Thomas the apostle you stayed with Jesus. Because of him India is saved..

Thanking God for Thomas sharing with India
I visited that place when I went to India over 15 years ago, it was very beautiful my friend
"How many have lost a loved one when..." Zero during this time of His ministry since He is said to have healed everyone.
yheah, right? the show has shown us the humanity of the Apostles.
The Bible is a sacred text, but there isn’t room enough in this world for the things Jesus did and said
Everybody hurts sometimes. 😢

Lazarus laughed & said, "The clay steals clay."
Lazarus lived for 30 years after his resurrection. His 2nd & final grave was discovered in Larnaka, Cyprus, with an inscription: "Lazarus friend of Jesus." His relic is still available in The Church of St. Lazarus in Larnaka.
Thanks .
Wow, that's fascinating! Thanks for sharing.
I was wondering about Lazarus' life after. I visited Cyprus a few years ago and I wish I'd known this then.
Thank you for sharing that, didn't know and still was wondering about Lazarus
❤❤❤
Your experience is true today, not in the times of Jesus and His disciples walking and living so close to the Creator and Healer of the Universe. It’s not biblical this experiences of Thomas and his girl friend , Mathew, little James been handicap and Peter’s wife losing a baby. We need to ask God today, why for every individual experience as a Christian to understand the reason of events happening in our lives. I pray God bless you and heal you from your loss.
Said right❤
When Mary (Lazarus's sister) came running out and wept at Jesus's feet, just destroyed by the loss of her brother, it broke me. I wept with her. What an incredible piece of acting. I believed her grief in my soul. Well done.
Absolutely

Sam. I was full on crying 😭
I agree. Oh my stars I wept with her as well.
Bless you dear ❤
You appear BORN AGAIN!
No darkness at all! Amen
When Jesus knelt with Thomas at his level in grief, it reminded me that Jesus came to earth, at our level in our time of need.
And He Looked us in the eye and told us to trust Him ❤️ Jesus is a beautiful man and yet the son of God.

I appreciated the shift to the future with Mary and Matthew. Speaking about Little James being persecuted and murdered. Bits of foreshadowing of what is to come. Of what it meant to be a follower of Christ.
Not to mention hearing about Brother Paul
Al que mató el Rey Herodes según la Biblia en el libro de Hechos fue a Big James, hermano de Juan...y no a Little James. Ojo con eso!
The thing is in episode 1 season 2 they were already mourning for big James so that's why Mary said he doesn't have to suffer anymore! The writers did not mix the two characters of James don't worry😊
but Matthew didn’t say King Herod 20:26 “King Hyrcanus” in Lower Egypt

When Jesus said, "Please stay with me, Thomas, and you will understand. "Hit me deep
Me too... this episode broke me
It mirrors when Jesus first called Thomas. Thomas says "I don't understand" Jesus tells Him to "Keep watching"

I'm reading it now, 9th chapter 😊

It made more sense to resurrect John the baptist, than a wife for Thomas.
And.. it didn't happen. God has his plan and we MUST accept it.

It also hints at the gospel of Mary Magdalene a complete heretical gnostic work. Very inappropriate and inaccurate not sure the reasoning behind this
@ fenu3587 from what I gather, Dallas said that this was just something made up and not connected to that at all.

Beautiful
and remember, it will Mary Magdalene whom he chooses to appear to first
Currently, #1 show to watch. Sharing the link with alot of people.....thanks Dallas
I'm so blessed by this series. The Lord Jesus as human, and the disciples became so real! I read the Bible differently now. I'm deeply touched, there are crying and laughter, and it strengthens my faith. 🤲
When I read the Bible or think of the people in the Bible, I now visualize with this cast. Its alright.
At 1:58:00. Such a great word clarity and the principle of God wanting us to particpate in the miracle. We are the body of Christ, amen!!! ❤💯 Thank you Dallas and entire staff of the Chosen!!!
AMAZING CHAPTER, I loved the talk between Lazarous and Jesus. We all are like Thomas sometimes, doubting, and asking God why, thus, why that...
watching form New Zealand Wellington. Amen LORD the father the son Jesus Christ and the holy spirit thank you for casting your net upon me and my family good work Dallas and your team God bless you all we was lost but now we are found. AMEN
Thank you so much for the excellence, professionalism, and the spiritual depth and wisdom in this episode. The script, acting, music, costume speak volumes, and all so firmly rooted in the words of the text. Thank you for the life changing art you are producing!
Watching from Stony Hill, ST Andrew, Jamaica!!🇯🇲 Have my Almonds & Tissues ready 😢❤
Hey neighbor! Watching from Antigua. 🇦🇬 😊
Watching from Stony Hill too 😊
I needed this episode. I walk the paths of both Mary and Little James, freed from darkness and walking in pain and there is such peace in this episode, thank you.
Same here. You put that well.
Mum passed away into the arms of Jesus two days ago. She was so looking forward to seeing the Lord. Loved him sooo much.
I'm praising God for the entire crew of The Chosen.
When someone dies early, as has happened in my family, you weep for the other people who have to go on without the dead. Especially if they were a young person and a close family. You don't weep for yourself.
Thanks for making the Bible seem more real and relevant! What a ride!
Remember world,Jesus is the way the truth and the life,no one goes to God but only through him(jesus),I love him with all my heart and soul, praise god king of the universe, fruit of the vine❤

Hello, I'm from Philippines and here in Dubai watching from Dubai UAE, and I watched THE CHOSEN in UA-cam and this is so amazing. Can't wait to watch this all. Thanks everyone to all cast. God blessed all your life.
My wife and I have supporters since Season 1 and have always been amazed and emotionally provoked and challenged in every episode. We cried after the last episode. We're sure we'll weep again.
Loving Sunday nights with The Chosen
the music during Mary’s monologue is one of the best music in the Chosen. it’s haunting and eerie as it forshadows what’s to come. But somehow still it has this hint of hope. Bittersweet. just, beautifully created. You can clearly see the passion in the storytelling and filmaking
I have noticed Catherine for quite a few years! Just LOVE her portrayal of Mary! So innocent! So earnest. So neat to see!
Watched from the Philippines! This show is truly amazing…..the emotions & feelings are so real…how our faith grows with them….
…. The WORD is so alive !!!
Watching from Springs, South Africa, freezing outside🥶🥶🥶 warm in my ❤ for the privilege we have to have The Chosen in our life to teach us. Thank You Lord. Bless them abundantly 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I went to theaters to see episodes watching them again I see I missed a lot of things. Of course I will watch again.
We are watching it via UA-cam from Bornholm Denmark- wish though it could be available for a wide audience through this countries channels- we are spreading the word to people so they can also watch and feel the spirit of these incredible episodes! Want all to Come Unto Christ 🙏🏼
My husband and I have shed many tears watching The Chosen right from Season 1 until now and we are so blessed beyond measure. Beautiful episode ❤️
I've been a Christian all my life and this story of Lazarus has always been difficult for me to understand . . . but THIS episode has switched on the light bulbs for me!! For the first time in my life, I understand! Thank you The Chosen!!!!!
Watching in England, such a wonderful episodes.
I started reading my bible again following watching Chosen
The writing for this episode is beyond spectacular. There are no words to describe the feelings and emotions that I went through watching this. I literally feel grief right now. This is by far the best episode of the whole series so far. I didn’t think that it could get any better and wow, was I wrong. Season 4 is an emotional rollercoaster. Brilliant writing! Well done Tyler, Ryan and Dallas. Just WOW!👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Seeing what it means to be a "man of sorrows, acquainted with grief." Hits much different than reading the words.
Recipe for Faith, Trust with a smear of love a little imagination on the side hold the doubt. Most are allergic to it... Great episode. Soon Jesus will prove himself again. Go Jesus!
