Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2024
- In this Stealth Truck Camping Adventure, Luke has a very strange encounter at 3am with someone screaming about the Devil next to his truck....it's weird.
Any time you have to stay at a Walmart, it's weird....
Additionally, Luke was able to fit a FULL SIZE Cot behind the Driver Seat!

I used to do that when I was younger too. I called them my self healing days. Took my dad once and learned a lot about him as we traveled. Miss him.
Leaving your window That open was anxiety inducing. Definitely more trusting than i am when car camping 😅
A stealth camp? I had to look twice, I thought I clicked a Steve Wallis video🤣 What you have done with the cot Luke is VERY cool, you have taken the 18 wheeler sleeper and sized it down to fit YOUR truck. In the shots of it, it looks just like a sleeper cab, just smaller.
Me too. Thought the airwaves were crossed.
Also being a Thursday also haha
Same 😅
I thought the same! But he can check out the cot!
Steve is the best, Hunker Down!! And have a step two!!
Wal-Mart does tend to attract weird people at night. That ending theme is most excellent though.
As well as business hours!😃
Well Luke being there proves that
That guy is the 3rd shift parking lot security. 😂😂😂😂
Dudes just vibin to Jellyroll 🎶
Exactly. Kind of fit too.
Jelly Roll Rocks!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Taco Bell while stealth camping? That’s risky
that was about as stealth as a orc fighter jet
Be careful lighting a match in enclosed area after Taco Bell 💥
A restroom nearby after midnight Taco Bell is a must….run Forrest run!
Yup!! Total luxury.
Yep and must have had a portable 5 gallon bucket with some Walmart Toilet paper we didn't know about...lol
Luke I have the same cot, thanks to your review. I drive a F150 and have a cap on the truck bed. I actually have my cot back there and it is awesome. I camp in the Adirondack mountains in the off season and absolutely love it. I have been doing it for a while now and sometimes wake up thinking I’m home. It’s that comfortable!!! I’m a 75 year old female and absolutely love the outdoors. Many of my purchasers
have been because of your reviews. You are always dead on! Thank you for you and your channel!!!!
Be safe out there-
😮😮 please be careful going camping alone!
I’m so glad you posted your age, I’m 70 about to be 71 , I still feel like I’m in my 40’s , and am wanting to do the same thing your doing,,, good on you,, safe travels
71 yr old female also, I forgot to put that in….
I don't think I would be able to sleep a wink in a Walmart parking lot, even without your Grammy winning singer providing quality entertainment all night😂
I have slept a few Walmarts in Virginia, Maine, and few other states I don't remember. The Ellsworth Maine Walmart is super freaking big. I went in and talked to mangers to see where I should park and his many days could I stay and would I be safe since I was alone. They were super nice. That Walmart has four sides to it for parking and the entries into store and another in auto section. They also told me not to worry about being safe there entire store inside and out had thousands of cameras and people watching them at all times. This was way before plandemic. It closed at twelve since it was a small place. Lots of people came to that area tho cause its not but seven miles from the coast.
I remember this night you filmed this, we had major fog that night here in Virginia. I'm about twenty minutes from Como NC
I can if I were tired enough, taken a few road trips and stayed up all night driving, once I pulled over in a factory that was closed and passed out for about 8 hours.
I could share some stories. In 1992 some friends and I did a tour with the Grateful Dead. We took off at the end of May and don’t come home until the end of August. The entire summer was camping out of a VW Vanagon and sleeping in pup tents. That was an experience! Some of the people I met will stick with me until my last days.
Lol.The most leftfield folks of them all with a Dead gathering.?
Aww... the good days...
Greatfull Dead after all. Namaste in 24.
I was a road musician for many years. While I always had hotels to stay in some of the trips were long and I’d pull over and sleep. It was safe way back then (late 70’s-80’s) but I wouldn’t do it now
The 70's and 80's were not safe either, the Internet just lets you know about it more now.
It deff was safer in the 70s
@@trinarichardson291 is that why like 90% of serial killers documentaries are about 70s people lol
From the lyrics I could hear it sounds like "son of a sinner" by Jelly Roll. Pretty good song.
Another fan who knew the song.
That is Herbert the Walmart Clown, They keep him around to keep the weird people away 😅😅😅
Wait- this is not Steve Wallis channel? Stealth camping..
Talking about past friends. Back when I was young I remember going to a Kmart to buy a Matchbox car. I remember thinking it was a long bike ride but it was worth having a new Matchbox. Back home my friend and I started playing with the new cars. First we had two, then there was four, then six and ended with 8. I bought one or two. My at the time friend bought one. He stole the rest. I was a loss for words.
Steve is a boring moron
Missed the step two mind!!! 😅
I was confused too for a second, but its too early for Steve.
Steve is garbage
@@ac1dburn698 Dood? Really ?
Singing man really was quite special 🤣🤪
Neat cot setup
I think I'd be more afraid of the 4 taco hell tacos you ate than the singing dude. 😅
That dude is just your average, every day Jelly Roll fan. They are typically weird as all hell but usually quite harmless.
Yes. Someone else new the song.
Thanks for the info. I'd never have found out that was him on my own. 😁
Wow you're a jerk! I'm a jelly fan and I'm nothing like that!! Rude!
Everyone should know Son on a Sinner by Jelly Roll when they here it. But Save Me is my favorite.
New subber. I didn’t realize it at the time, but my family grew up nomads. Dad didn’t like staying anywhere for too long. We often camped out of our station wagon. Sleeping out of it. Eating out of it. We had some trying times to be sure. But we also had some very unique experiences. Dad was all about stopping by the wayside to see something interesting, swim in a creek, have a picnic, have s’mores by a campfire. Once, (this was in the 60’s) we got to some sort of check center set up in the road. A tiny hut with a man inside, who was some sort of military man. He had very explicit instructions for the next six miles of road. No cameras. No stopping. It takes exactly x amount of time to get to the other checkpoint going x mph, which you must drive. If we stopped, didn’t reach the other checkpoint in time, someone would be sent out. If you have an emergency, do not under any circumstances get out. He then did a check of our vehicle. We got back in, he started a timer, and we proceeded forward. The first crazy thing was a boiling river. It was literally boiling with steam coming off it as it wound its way through its course. The next thing is both sides of the road was very forested. Heavy, thick forest. One squared area, the trees were petrified. Another square area, the trees were gorgeous and flourishing. Another squared area, the trees were stumps…the soil was ashy and smoking. It went on like this until we got to the next checkpoint where our vehicle was again inspected to make sure we didn’t have any contraband from the area. We had a lot of crazy experiences on the road. I guess that’s why I enjoy these vlogs so much.
Luke, I had to laugh! I'm a retired Walmart driver. They always suggested that we stay at, or behind a store at the end of our day. Now you know why I never did! 😂🤣
Your videos are calming and easy to enjoy and very educational.
Just watching you eat Taco Bell tore up my stomach. You, sir, are stronger than I. 😂😂😂
The last time I ate Taco Bell in Flagstaff, I had really bad food poisoning which ruined my plans to go on an helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon.
Taco Bell is my favorite cheap food but have learned not to eat them outside California. Had them in Quartzite AZ, never again.
Not only yours. But mine rather because its 03:00 am and im super hungry 😅
I eat taco bell with ginger juice infused water, the ginger helps prevent any bad taco bell stuff.
You need to eat some fiber more often if taco bell hurts your stomach. Its no more gross than any other fast food, and at least there is an option of some sort of vegetable in the food. It's my go to for travel fast food. 🤷♂️
Mans kept whippin those tacos out of nowhere
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY brother thank you for sharing your adventures and testing equipment and sharing the facts and truth brother
I have a ford f150 with an extended cab and an extra long bed with a camper shell. I use the back seat of the cab for storage and in the bed I have added a long cot,2 tables, a stove,a propane heater, and a fan to create a simple but comfortable sleeping space. The windows of the camper shell are limo tinted to increase privacy. I call it my mobile man cave lol. At 71, it is a lot easier to climb in the back of the truck than to set up a tent! Plus since there is absolutely nothing added to the outside,it looks like a plain old work truck, which makes it much easier to stealth camp.
Always a good day when we get a video drop thanks so much
Works great for short people. I paused the video and climbed in the back seat of my 2002 f150 extra cab to see what the room is like. Nope! I will continue to sleep in the front seats reclined all the way. Glad it works for you.
I’m short enough to sleep across the back floorboard in a crew cab ford😂😂😂
The fact that there's a soft rain really helps. 😊
I've never tried but I don't believe I'd get a lick of sleep in a walmart parking lot I'd be on high alert
I had the same thought....creepy singing man would have had a pistol in my hand🤣
Luke love ❤️. There’s always one. No matter were you go, there’s always one person. 😂❤😂❤🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🤷♀️🤷♀️
Loved this stealth camp…a refreshing change
This was shaping up like a suspense horror thriller and a well made one at that. You should make a movie.
Taco Bell runchy tacos and mild salsa. BEST COMBO EVER!
Love your videos for years. I have stealth camped all across America in an suv. Walmart and cracker barrel are my least favorite for one reason. No 24 hour bathroom, lol.
You went to Walmart on the wrong night this night was karaoke night. 😂😂😂😂
Guy can’t be all bad singing a jelly roll song 😂
My husband and I love car/ truck camping. Queen blow up mattress fit perfect in the back of the excursion. Really virtually “glamping” but still fun and comfortable most importantly! So many forms of camping and I love them all
I’m not sure why I like the stealth camp vids so much but I do....and yes I do get a kick out of Steve’s vids as well. Cool stuff Luke 👍
Reminicant of Steve Wallis ....but you missed "Step Two" ! LOL
I'd be careful of that stealth camping in a vehicle. If a cop made you move your car/truck in the middle of the night and smelled booze on you, your evening might start to go down hill.
I myself have stayed up all night singing Jelly Roll songs. However I haven't tried it in a Walmart parking lot yet. Yet.
Yet being the keyword lol
that was "Son of a Sinner" by Jellyroll. Great song and it is a spiritual song
I think there’s at least one guy like that allocated to each Wal Mart in the country
I always find it funny when people are like, omg look what was going on at Walmart. It's Walmart I am happy if nothing goes on while I am there.
I didn't know you stealthcamped! Great to see you do this! Cheers and greetings from the #StealthCampingAlliance❤🤘
Four Taco Bell tacos at midnight -- the most impressive part of this video.
😅 Right!!! No way I would chance that
what a great stealth camp, nice to see you in a different environment and camping, just a good old chat with the camera having a late supper! ❤
This going to be good let me get my 🍿
Taco number 3 was my favorite
I would LOVE to see more content like this from the channel. Greetings from Wilmington, NC
(The Port City)
Love the adventures! Thank you! Looks like it worked pretty well
Hi glad to see you do this. I am an older lady who is going to travel and sleep in her car, but as campgrounds. Hopefully I will be okay. Some worries, but your video helped.
I was going to do the same, but some campgrounds won’t allow you to sleep in your car. I was so bummed. I don’t get that if you are paying the same as an RV. Make sure you check that out ahead of time.
I love to sleep when it is raining like that, but I would be too paranoid to have the windows down.
Lol. This was a lot of fun.. A camp out in the truck on a rainy night.. nice 👍 thanks for the tag along.
Love your videos, and I love camping in the rain,,, really appreciate your updates on what to do and what NOT TO DO…..
These road trips feel so relatable to me. I've spent so much time living out of my car a small corrolla and had my fair share of sketchy momments.
So now you value judge others work? NO job is shameful or beneath someone. Honest work for an honest dollar is always honorable.
You did it again! Way to go Luke!....😊
Thanks for that I have a camp cot will try this out, got a Toyota wish so should be great! Thanks from NZ.
Love your channel so much! I haven’t watched in a while, so coming back tonight was very special! Thanks for always having great content…
Always 1 crazy person.
I was driving to Florida last week and at 2:00 AM I noticed several giant motor homes parked for the night in the Buccee's parking lot.
awesome video luke! i love these types of videos man. keep up the great work!
Epic video jajajaja love moments when bizarre people appear . Wishing you the best from Guatemala
Oh look at that fresh haircut :)
The Outdoor surveillance review...😂 great video Luke as always
Nice haircut, Luke! Great video.
These videos are great Luke! I truely enjoy my car camping setup in my 4runna i use roll up yoga mats and comforters and it works great. Enjoyed this video actually all your adventures are great keep it up man! Thank you
Good ole Walmart. I would totally park in the lot for the night, have a relaxing night, but only if it's raining lol... You were snoozing away and you looked comfy 😴 Looks like the man singing may have been homeless. That makes me sad for him. Great video Luke! Stay safe. Sending good vibes from Ohio ❤
you are NOT alone with those weird nights. I have had some doozies myself! Some entertaining, some dangerous. But God sure has his hand on me.
I tried to sleep once in a parking garage in Chicago, while my daughter was enjoying a concert but couldn’t sleep from the noise of people getting in and out of their cars. The things you do for your kids, lol. Another great video, Luke. Now, it’s time to watch Susie’s tent video. I want a hard shell taco, now.
You should do more of these videos.. you rocked it . God Bless you & Sus!
Watching at 2:30am, and I am now craving for tacos😂😂😂
Luke big fan here from the Philippines! Why not go stealth camp with Steve Wallis? He needs a guy like you who is always calm and composed when he panics!
Steve Wallis doesn't seem the kind that panics. I've followed him for years. I think he's really laid back and chilled.
Actually I don’t know the right vocab to describe Steve when he doesn’t feel very “stealthy” 😂
He would have to drive way uo there in Canada eh
😂😂😂
Well done! It was good to watch along on your stealth over night. I've done exactly the same from time to time. Always an adventure. lol I take a 2006 Jeep Liberty on my own "run-aways". Got my, camp stove, cooking kit, fishing rod n pack... Change of clothes, and emergency FIRE KIT, that I put together after watching one of your videos. Thank you, you are an inspiration. 💯 Keep up the good work! 🙂👍🏼
I really liked this video, man!
You should do stealth camping videos every other month or even more often.
From South Africa.... Loony tunes ? 😂
Steve Wallis would have offered a Step 2
I enjoyed the heck out of you and your video, it brought back so many memories of random spur of the moment road trips with inconvenient outcomes, and at one point living full time in my vehicle (not by choice) for a few months. I’ve been woken up by cops, thieves my boss…looking forward to binge watching your channel.
This was a good one. Thank you for sharing your life stories! The gear reviews are good, but these are great since there is no talking on the other channel.
What a calmness in his talk
You eating taco bell in a enclosed area has me more concerned than any human walking earth.
😂😂😂he did say the windows are cracked
Smart guy like me. I took my backseats out and it’s literally almost large enough for two people to sleep. One very comfortable.
Great video! Good imagination. Yep, weird happenings at WM at night!
Bazaar! Absolutely lol. But I guess he's having a good time jamming to his tunes and not hurting anyone. 😂
Been a long time since you did one of these, nice.
That was great dude. that was some things that me and my wife wanted to do before she passed. so thanks
I’ve been waiting for you to make another one of these. I remember the first one and loved it
FYI, parking at Walmart isn't really stealth. Almost all Walmarts allow overnight parking to campers and truck drivers.
Literally none of the Walmarts in my region allow any sort of overnight parking or camping. Zero
@Nathans_Margarita_Salt if you watch real campers like MAV, ROAMING RECKLESS, and CRAZYQUADY, they do it all the time. Plus, last summer we had a family reunion in Hartford WI and they asked the store manager if they needed something from him to camp there. He responded that they don't need anything and told them that truck drivers do it all the time.
Hey Luke. I just wanted to tell you I use to work for Taco Bell back in the late 90s. I can tell you from experience, that if you don't eat their tacos almost as soon as you buy them, they go to mush. Because of the type of meat they use, it has a lot of grease and it will soak through a taco shell very fast. When I worked for them, back then we would make up tacos and burritos to stage up for the main line to grab and put in orders. We had about 5 to 7 minutes from the time they were made and staged up to get them out to customers before we had to chunk them because within about 10 minutes the crunch was completely gone.
Doesn't the taco "meat" taste different from the 90"s
Thanks for sharing your adventure! Loved it!
Luke and suzie just wanted to say I love your UA-cam channel, u both make me relaxed watching ur adventures from an Irish fan Tracey, God bless you both your a beautiful couple
Did anyone else already ask this: Why didn't you have window covers?
If they don't try to kill me, I typically find crazy people to be quite funny. 🤣
I was stealth camping across the country in 2020 and 21... Many Walmart will no longer allow you to Park and sleep... Your setup is great. However I have a 2002 to Chevy S10 pickup with extended cab. I traveled with my dog. I removed the passenger seat and used memory foam mattress topper making a bed where the passenger seat used to be. That was awesome. Worked well for me and when I stopped traveling, I had the seat bolted back into the passenger side. Blessings sent!
Done it back in the day, Kmart, and Farmer Jack parking lots...even an IGA, but never alone...at least one of my friends, and armed of course! Coffee and grain bars for me...
Enjoyed the video. It was different out of the norm for you. It was like a Steve Wallace video stealth camping thank you it very interesting and entertaining. Have a great day.
Taco bell while stealth camping you are playing with fire there hopefully the Walmart is open 24/7
Great video!😊
Good video, Luke. Cool the way that cot fit into your cab by shortening it a bit. The Midnight Rapper must have been entertaining. Enjoy your weekend.
Hunker Down 😎👍🤣
Taco Hell is only good after smoking weed all day. Lol
The dude couldn't sing, but glad you were comfortable.
Oh that brought back some memories… many thanks from Sweden. 👏🤗
