he doesn't have to let off the gas either, the bike has a quick shifter.......sure he could have had a better tuck maybe and a cleaner start but he looked like a light rider, even if he rode it perfectly the race wasn't close at all he still would have gotten walked......Seems like only way an s1000rr is beating this is with boost or whatever the fuck Transamguy73 has b/c that's the fastest s1000 i've seen on youtube

What does the car trap in the 1/4? Mr12 bmw seem to trap 162mph + around the very low 8 second mark. In my opinion I think the bmw should be out on the car until about 160+ then I can see the car pulling but not anytime sooner.

That car weighs under 3000 lbs. (something like 2400-2600 lbs. I can't remember). No way a low 200 hp bike is going to touch that thing, especially if it's able to hook up.
+Eric Williams it actually weighs over 3000lbs with driver and ballast (also I ride in the car sometimes so that's an additional 200lbs). ~2600lbs + 400lbs driver passenger + 200lbs ballast. It just makes a shit ton of power and it's aerodynamic.

That is a stupid fast car and a really fast bike. Riding a liter bike is not like riding a six hundred, more skill than just mashing the throttle and this guy doesn't have it. Sounds counter active but it surprisingly isn't, you need a balance of throttle and rear brake to keep the front wheel down to be quick. The BMW shouldn't be getting pulled that hard.
Unfortunately ....This particular BMW 1000rr had no chance.....the 240 had a strong pull all the way threw the run.

In all honesty, yes the Datsun is 1,000 hp and probably extremely light and probably would have smoked that bike regardless but I've seen bikes beat 700-1100 hp cars ... Weight for the cars is a huge factor.. Plus the heating on the bike.. Then most importantly THE RIDER! You can tell this dude had no clue what he's doing. I dunno why people always race bikes against cars? honestly it doesn't make sense to me. power/weight ratios are completely different, less moving parts, etc. I like motorbikes but race against another bike. Don't race a car that has 3-4x the weight. Then say "oh my bike can beat a lambo or a ferrari" no shit it can...the bike weighs as much or lighter than a typical obese american. While a car weights about 3500lbs or more.

I raced that red Datsun at a street racing made safe event on my mid 8-second stock motor GSXR 1000 from a roll. that car walked by me like I was standing still. if you think you have anything for that car you are wrong. cart wraps around a hundred and seventy miles per hour in the quarter mile. and no Trans Am guy does not have shit on his car. The ONLY reason the Datsun got him is because the s1000rr rider don't know how to ride! He couldn't keep the front wheel down. With 214hp, if that's even true, the bmw has more hp than it needs to out run the Datsun. Do the math. Hp to weight ratio. Bmw weighs 410 pounds with that exhaust. Plus you can't just do a two gear pull, you need to have a set distance, or a mph. Say quickest to 140mph or 180mph.

However i doubt everyone you've raced can't ride. At 1k plus horsepower, you should be able to handle pretty much any NA bike. I've raced some 800 horsepower cars and they've given me a run for my money, but @ 225 pounds I'm kinda heavy. The 160 pound guys seem to do a lot better! Haha.
