I can totally agree with what he’s saying from my time fly fishing and from when I first started how I would attach myself to the the old brigade who truly knew what they were doing and so long as you wanted to learn would tell me so much. Sadly they all gone now.
@kostringworks i suppose there are similarities in that you can’t just wing it and the very best have a feel for not just the mechanics but the history.
