I'm glad you got it sorted. I had 20 ft kokoda written off when the same thing happened while connected to mains water. Same coupling. Cupboards and mould started during the winter. So keep an eye out. We had inspector with a moisture meter check everything out. Water capillaries upwards in your walls. Don't mean to frighten you but alert you. $80,000 damage, van only year old.😢. The new replacement caravan has its water heater in a fully contained waterproof tank with drain to outside. And accessible from outside.
@@ernuren3205 thanks Ern, we are keeping a regular eye on it and checking regularly, so far so good. We have spoken with Bushtracker and they have said if there is any water damage it will be under warranty as we have informed them and they have noted it. But hopefully we won't have any 🤞
Both of your down to earth personalities is going to be your success & your love of our great country especially the red dirt ( other channels seem to focus on coastal & green highlands) . I came over from Facebook originally following a single woman doing all I'm too scared or unable to do & now has grown into a beautiful respectful couple doing it together, Aiden is starting to relax more into his time on camera & it's showing ( good job) you work well together guys & have my type of humour. Hopefully will meet up on the road one day as I'm slowly getting kitted up to travel more.
Thanks Michelle, it is great to get feedback from our viewers. And thanks for following Leah for so long and now following us both. I can assure you we will be giving you lots of red dirt and sand, but may throw in some white sand and that every now and then to mix it up Hopefully we will see you on the road somewhere and share a campfire and good chat.
Thanks so much Michelle and thank you for for the ongoing support. It is so appreciated and I hope that we can inspire you to keep getting ready to hit the road so that we can meet you and share a hug and a good camp fire! It is really hard to step out of all that we know but when we do, I can see now, that all the good things come our way! Stay tuned, we love hearing from you! :) Leah.
Have a great time heading to the red centre, did last year via the Great Central Road, just behind major weather event. Was best adventure, but the 4x4 to this day still oozes red dust...;)
Thanks Cath, yes we are looking forward to the red centre, even though we have both been there before separately. We are still trying to work out the route as there has been a lot of rain in northern SA, so most of the dirt roads are a bit chewed up. But I am sure we will enjoy it and share it with you here. We would like to do the great central road, but time is not on our side for this trip, but it is definitely on the list, I love the remoteness of the WA desert roads.
Thanks Cath, I can't wait to share this trip with Aidan, although as he said, we are not sure which way yet! That in itself is exciting! Who doesn't love a roll in the red dirt! :) Leah
@@hayleyhoehne7460 not sure about whether it should be brass or not, but most John Guest fitting are plastic. We will have to wait and see how the replacement fitting goes. Yes Leah likes the cushion as well 😀

Honestly I thought you put the brass ones on hot water. How gorgeous is that cushion

Once I spied that cushion it was coming for a ride! Aidan will now have a couple of 'birds' by his side! 😅 Leah.
