Hiking with Dogs on Gatlinburg Trail // Great Smoky Mountains

Great Smoky Mountain National Park is the most visited National Park in the United States and two of the trails allow dogs! That meant that Maya and Forest got to visit their very first National Park earlier this month and they had so much fun!

I know it's true, but it seems so strange to me that so many national parks and trails don't allow dogs. As someone who loves my dog and loves to hike nature trails, I would be interested in finding the best, easy-to-use source that tells me which trails and parks allow dogs.
