Love noodles and pasta of any kind and will eat about 2-1/2 to 4 lbs at a time and come back for more and it's even better if it's got butter and raw onions on top.. love it love it just totally love it.......

Also, 25 dollars for couple is really cheap and you can eat them like 50 bowls on average due the amount as just for one small slurp and most people can reach that amount of bowl.
You guys are reading on wrong side, the left-side was for Male while Right-side was for female. Mr.Bacon finished 148 bowls which is 61 bowls short from breaking record while Mrs.Bacon finished 105 bowls which is 70 bowls short from records. Also, with the amount of that bowl just like eating one regular cookie which most people can eat 50 bowls in average while people who have big appetite can do at least double amount of it.
FYI: Usually those bowls are served by employee, as soon as customer finishes their bowl the next portion would be poured into the bowl, unless customer put its lid onto the bowl. Some restaurants even forces you to eat more, as they pour next portion into your bowl way faster than you could put lid on. Guiness world record is 258 bowls in 5 minutes.
That feels pricey for what is only 40 minutes of all you can eat but it's literally one food over and over again. The cost of cleaning all the dishes one person eats is probably more than the cost of the actual noodles which are so cheap.
Most of those bowls can be cleaned with 1 or 2 light scrub. You can see for yourself it's not that dirty maybe just a bit sticky from the soba, but the amount so small I even doubt it can be called dirty
These videos are amazing! You guys should totally do some kind of collab with "Exploring Japan". I'd love to see two similar youtubers exploring and showing all that Japan has to offer.

I have sen competitive eaters challenge this one before and one of the rules is that you have to take one bowl of noodles at a time and you have to completely finish the noodles each time with Mr Bacon did not do. I’m sure it only matters if you are going for the record as they have staff watching to tell them that there are still noodles left. This looks like a lot of fun though and I’m very impressed by how you did, thanks for sharing! 😊
