On version 2.1.12 to enable KVM support option - Enable nested VT-x / AMD - V is not highted to be enabled ? because of it wont support KVM, your view pls ? thanks David.
GNS3 can't start VirtualBox unless the VM has a host-only adapter configured and that adapter has DHCP enabled. In VirtualBox 6.0, go "File > Host Network Manager > Create" - tick the DHCP checkbox. Click "OK". Once this exists, select the GNS3 VM, then go "Machine > Settings > Network > Adapter N(e.g. 2) > Attached to = Host-only > Name = "

Hello, Thank you. I am not able to see anything under VM name in GNS3 for the preferences. I tried refreshing it several times, but I could not find anything. What should I do, please?
Hi, David . As per your instruction in Video series of Network automation, the 1st video you have instructed how to configuration of loopback interface 0 and ip of that interface with the help of Network Automation tool available in GNS3 market place. I've exactly carbon-copy of your instruction and implemented on my lab environment. I've a question, why I am not able to ping 8.8.8.8 from my Automation System, you can find that topology diagram in gns3 community discussion with the subject of "issue in ping response" please help me out.
Thank you very much, David ... could I ask you about something, I faced a strange issue while opening a console for NX-OSv on GNS3, and it couldn't start and booted a lot for many times, it gave me this message " BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 11s! [insmod:217] "

@@zakwan3169 No~ I saw the other respond for this issue. The feature is need AMD CPU. I setup KVM option in Virtual box , but still not enable in GNS3 server.
@@youtube-watcher-TW Hi, you may have figured this out by now as your comment was a while ago. I had the same issue and it took me a while to figure out. You need to go into your BIOS (on a desktop just restart and mash the delete key a bunch until the screen comes up, on laptop you can hold the shift key while you press the restart button until the screen goes black), from the BIOS you need to find your virtualisation option. It'll be found in different places on every BIOS so you'll have to feel it out. On my MSI AMD 570x it was labelled as "SVM" for some reason. There may be a search option, I'd recommend just typing the letter V in there and reading the description for everything that comes up. Hope you solved your issue and this little snag didn't set you back too hard!
I have tried this on three seperate computers (All intel), Windows 10, Windows 7 and all three computers have and can run Virtual machines, they all have VT-X support enabled in the bios and all three, will not allow KVM support. Why does this not work?
VirtualBox only supports nested virtualization on AMD processors. Intel is not currently supported. Hopefully they will support Intel at some point, but it is not currently :(
