I love it. Oh my goodness the views are amazing. I believe there should be more Dave walking up mountain sides carrying Sheila’s gear, my only critique 😂. Beautiful work, as always.
Hi Ron, it's Shiela. I second that!! Just kidding, David carries my gear for me everywhere we film. Thank you so much for watching our video. I completely agree, it's hard to miss stunning landscapes with/ or without wildlife in Iceland. Amazing place. Please give our love to Smoking Hot Mrs Lisa. We miss you guys.
Oh my GOSH! You guys! This is EXCELLENT! I just love the footage of the snow swirling and all the different scenes you captured with such a variety of behaviors! I also love the story telling combined with the scientific information in the narration provided by Shiela. BRAVO to Glatz Nature Productions!
A very nice documentary about the Arctic fox and the Hornstrandir peninsula. It's a great feeling to see those familiar landscapes beautifully described by you. Shiela's voice is well suited to the narrator's role. Excellent performance. Thanx Shiela & David!👍
Hi Jukka, it's Shiela. Thank you so much for the very kind words. I'm glad the landscapes were familiar to you, the Westfjords is an effortlessly beautiful place. Everywhere we pointed our lenses, we knew we were capturing gold. I find narrating our films exceedingly exhausting - next time around, David is narrating it LOL. We hope you are doing very well.
@@glatznatureproductions Or will Daivid have to speak himself next, I think that will be good too! Everything is fine here, spring is coming and the snow is decreasing. Let's go to St. Louis tomorrow and tour the places. All the best, strength and health to you!
@@love4wildlife Hi Henrik, thanks so much for watching our arctic fox video. I love Iceland, but filming at the Hornstranddir nature reserve in early February was brutal. The place was absolutely beautiful, and the arctic foxes will steal your heart, but the arctic winds cutting from the polar North is nasty and just gets nastier. However, all worth it.
Hi Fred, it's Shiela. When we first got to the Lodge, David and I were muttering to ourselves "We bad, we're from Chicago, we can handle the cold". Then the winds kicked up from Svalbard and the Polar North. Okay, the Chicagoans were cold, LOL. Thank you, sir, for watching our video. David and I hope you are doing well.
Thanks so much, Joe! Yeah if I’m going to stay up late every night for the last 2 weeks - it’s much better doing something I love. Hope all is well with you, man.
Hi Christina, it's Shiela. On behalf of David, thank you so much!! A little backstory to this. During our last afternoon in Kviar, we noticed both Melrakki and her mate close by - although the mate was hugging the steep mountainside near their den. As our zodiac finally launched from the beach en route to the awaiting ferry, Melrakki came down from the cliffs and hung out by the rocky shore, as if to bid the humans good bye. Hell, she was probably saying "finally, some peace". LOL.
Hi Gladys, it's Shiela. Thanks so much for watching our video. Frigid temps, frozen body parts, and misbehaving cinema gear, LOL, but getting footage of the majestic arctic fox was sooo worth it in the end. Thanks again for visiting our channel!
@@gladysklip6984 That's awesome, Gladys! The last time I tried to film the white arctic fox in Svalbard, I was NOT ready. The little bugger snuck up on me. We head back next year, hopefully I'm better prepared! So glad you got to photograph it.

Thanks Ron - it’s the “Sherpa.” LOL that’s hilarious. Thank you for watching and for your support!!
