Great to see your walk around the Artic Fox Truck Campers. Love to see a dealer that actually uses the rigs they sell. Makes for a much more honest review. Please do more. Especially interested in 1150 and 1140 models if you ever get a opportunity to do a walk around. Nice work.
I followed the youtube of this young guy for years. He raved about Artic Fox and I can understand why. Go anywhere in the continent! My impression of your camper is absolute top quality. I feel your company delivers a product which is exceptional and comfortable.
I think this is one of the best truck camper floor plans there is and you’re right…the best of both worlds is a ORV 5th wheel and an AF Truck Camper!!! Take the one that fits what you’re doing.
Are the propane tanks on a slide out tray for filling purposes? Looking to buy my last RV (going back to a camper) but at age 74 with a few bad joints lifting those tanks up is a no-go. Nice walk thru.
Yes the propane tanks are on a slide out but you still have to disconnect the tanks and take them down to get them filled and lift the full tanks up and reconnect to slide them back in .
I currently have an 2016 AF 811 and have been considering switching to the 990. I noticed in your video there is no vents where the refrigerator is, is this because it has a new style 12 volt refrigerator?
not really if using the stock rear suspension , really meant for a dual rear wheel , just the slide out adds 1000 lbs to over all weight so ideally you would need at least a F450 dual rear wheel to carry this camper and still be legal at the scales .
It's a great camper and I will likely purchase one, I just wish that Northwood would stop with carpet. So many of us travel with dogs, and I specifically have 2 Aussies, so carpet is such a pain. Other than that, these campers looks awesome.
They have everything a trailer would have, plus the generator, fox landing, electric jacks and other specialty items… but the man hours it takes to build a camper is much higher than that of a trailer. There are cheaper campers out there, but arctic fox is top notch quality when you look at their frame, insulation, tank capacities, cabinetry, etc. Hope this helps answer your question!
Me too I guess I am too old school like you too I like The Propane and 120 Volt fridges , my camper now on propane just the fridge will last 15 days on med to high in the summer months , the hotter the better .

Best cold weather camper made, in my opinion.

I am not in the market for a camper, but this is a really nice unit❤
Nice job with this video. I have watched probably hundreds of videos on truck campers, And this is one of the best I have watched yet.
Thank you!! :)
They should make a drop in insert to turn the sink into two half basins. Wish it had the same floor plan as the 865
Wonderful presentation of the product you believe in!!

Exactly!
Could you tell me the dry/wet weight and truck size I would need. I’m thinking at least 1ton. Thanks
Will a f350 SRW diesel be enough truck for the 990 truck camper

Thank you. More truck camper reviews please.
Nice review, hope you do reviews on all Northwood RV’s. Boycott products in ads.
You missed the fridge and ac
DUALLY country! ya baby
How big is the inverter on this unit?? Good like usual
Hi John, No inverter, but a built in gen!!
What is the cost for the Artic Fox 990? Ball Park
Agree this is a duel’e set up. Nothing wrong with that. Plenty of forest service roads that can be gone down in a duelly.
Love the lighter colors...Horray! I would lose the curtainy valances, love everything else!
The curtains are easy to remove!! :)
Wow what a difference! It looks awesome. Great presentation as usual. Im in Michigan, thinkin of coming out and buying from you guys. Great reviews.

How much .
Always get a wet bath if you can. Less opportunity for leaks.
What kind of “Tracks” does this fit on, standard or narrow grade? 😊
Why are these so much more expensive than a pull trailer?

Everything looks good on the new model changes except for the refer.... hard pass on the 12v models.

With the 12v refrigerator having 2 100 a/h lithium batteries as standard is a must
We recommend three...
The camper is great. But I didn’t see a wedding ring. What’s really going on? Is she single? 😁
sure looking like it ! I like her backside but her front side aint to bad either brother if you know what I mean LOL .
