Just got my first pair of tech 7s. Love them
There is a lot of great deals on used gear. Bought a chest protector for next to nothing. But it’s always a gamble.
yea, that too.. I got some used gear before as well
Couldn't agree with you more brother. I love the Tech 7s. Unfortunately, everyone was out of them when I needed another pair and I had to get the Tech 5s. I'll get the 7s soon. :) Thanks man!
right on Robert! how to do like the 5's?
@@dirtniron Too hot (for me) to ride in Florida so I haven't tried them yet. They feel great and the main difference I see in the 5's is the buckles are plastic where they're metal on the 7's. However, you can put the 7 buckles on them which I'll do if they break. We'll see. I'm sure the 7's also have more protection than the 5's but my old 7's fell apart. Too much time in a hot Florida garage....lol I keep these in the cool inside.
SG 12’s 💯👍
thanks for sharing!
Big fan of your channel ❤️❤️
Thanks Sammie, glad you like it 👍
Helmets, Gloves, Goggles, and other basic Protection or necessities would be good videos. Separate videos ?
yea maybe, thanks for the suggestion
I love my Tech 7’s!
I've had tech 8s, sg12s, and sidi crossfire 3s and the most comfortable were the tech 8s the sg12 are pretty close and the sidi's with the srs are goodish (they run a little to narrow for me) in my opinion the tech 8s have the best feel but lack greatly in the protection department from trail debris and ankle support. The sg12s have a pretty stiff sole almost to the point of not being able to feel were the pegs are. And the sidi's (with srs)have little to no feel of the pegs you just have to know were they are. The all feel fine to squeeze the bike.
thanks for sharing Kolton, appreciate it!
The Alps Tech7 kill my toes ...I love the boot but can't wear them long. Believe it or not the Sidi Crossfire TS fits me best .. I 100% agree on getting a top quality boot. In the long run its probably less cost but definitely more protection.
thanks for sharing brother!
I wear Gaerne Fastback boots. Good Price/Value and durable product. Airoh helmet and POD knee brace. ✌️ Good video Rado 👏👏👏
thanks for sharing brother!
Great advice. I too agree with good boots and helmet. Can you do a video about knee protection? I do not currently use any but, i am considering. Thank you kindly.
I can do a video on it. Thanks
Yes, that could be a good content mate! Nice!
Good tips! 👍
Thanks, glad you like it
No Rado no. My girlfriend said dirt bikes and saving money don't go together. I know it must be true because she also told me she knows how much I spend on dirt bike things.
haha, looks like you need to explain to her the "smiles per miles" concept of the sport
on my second pair of sg12s. first pair couldn't feel anything for 20 hours. felt the pegs right out of the box on the second pair. maybe im just use to the stiffness or im riding more on my toes now.
thanks for sharing Patrick
This is really great advice/insight. Thank you!
you are welcome Douglas!
Ima go all out with my gear, get a full set of Alpinestars head to toe and %100 Goggles. Still savin
sounds good Eric!
i use tech7 too, i was planning to change the soil for the enduro one! how much have u felt the difference? expecially in mud, i tend to slip with the mx tech7's soil
I can feel it in a loose stuff, we dont really have mud in Socal tho.. ;)
Been struggling to get gear down here in South Africa
please help 😂
Nah I definitely need a new pipe for my bike, but yeah good boots are also on the list tech 7 or leatt 4.5 is my picks
Nah ? Lol.
thanks for sharing ;)
Gaerne for boots & Arai for helmets.
thanks for sharing!
Hey do u know if the enduro soles will fit on the mx boot are they the same otherwise
I am pretty sure its the same
hi , i have a question on buying new boots. we are the begining of 2022 but there are a lot of sites selling bots which are manufactured all theway from 2015/16 to 2021. how old can you go with manufacturing dates to get a good deal, does the shoes leather etc quality get affected with time lying in their warehouses ?
I would get year old..
@@dirtniron thanks
well I am not rich enough to buy cheap shit..... Nice video, cheers V!
👍👌
@Rado you just need to find a friend with expensive taste and the same size feet 🤣. I have a buddy who gets new tech 7's every year and then I buy his old ones from him.
what size are you Pat? ;)
My sg12s fell apart so fast, never again.
How? Very hard to believe.
@@tonn333 i have no idea, maybe from walking in them here and there. I dunno im just a puzzled.
I'm still wearing a pair of resoled 2013 Tech 7s. Now the harder rubber on the ankle is starting to crack, but until then resoling is a great tip.
Another tip: don't try saving money by resoling it yourself! It's harder than it looks. Pay someone to do it properly!
Exactly Peter, thanks for sharing!
