Scorpio is an amazing dancer. I saw his Micheal Jackson show n he was slamming!! I met him back in 1990 at Boys market on Slauson/ Crenshaw. I’m also from the Baldwin hiils/ Crenshaw area we’ve been crossing paths for many years on the Popping scene. We actually are both in “L.A. Boppin Crew!!” He went Oldschool with “Innercity cultural center” I remember that! Props to Scorpio a true entertainer!
This good brotha is an Icon. As a young teen we all thought MJ was really on Soul Train 😊. Incredible work and we miss the 1980’s impersonators dancers. Thank you for the memories!!😊
I,m from Detroit, Michigan. I Remember seeing the both of the Brothers . Dancing on the Scene Dance Show/ Soul Train . I really regret, that I, I didn’t invest into Dancing Further in my Life . But I like hearing the , Successful Dancers ,Success Stories . ❤️😊
Used to see him on Venice beach and at a club next to a barbershop i worked at past 20 yrs. He frequented all the top l.a night clubs locally. Always seen him on soultrain growing up. He was one of the best dancers on there . Nice humble guy. Doesnt show off or anything. Ppl person ❤
What an amazing story! Soul Train Dancers impacted many, many lives...such class and undeniable talents- ALL of you. Such great times. Thank you so much!💯💯💯
I remember him very well during 'The Scene' years. I also remember another good dancer on that dance show. Het name is Cheryl. She and another dancer on the show, went to LA to dance on the show, 'Dsnce Fever.' Cheryl and her partner won. They were doing the 'shake dance that 'Scorpio' talked about. That's how they'd won. It's good to see him represent Detroit with pride, here on the Westcoast. And it's also cool to see LA peeps on the show give him love. Equally dope. Is knowing that dancer came from all over the country, to dance on Soul Train.
Me too! I had a crush on him....I remember as a kid watching soul train and he showed up on the screen... I was like hey he danced on the Scene!!! I think I said the same thing about Lisa Mapps, lol
He is amazing. He talks about the work being from in the chest but his footwork is also impeccable 😲👏✨ I love how his brother recognized his talent and supported his career. That is real love ❤
Watching Soul Train 🚂 on Saturdays noon time in Montréal Canada 🇨🇦 from 1972 a 13 year old white Greek-Canadian with a natural Afro inspired me to learn to dance soul listen to Motown music as I got better dance copying the steps doing the jump up and robot stand to a split on the floor every high school dance the Greek girls was trying to get my attention. I had my favourite male soul dancers🕺🏼 I still 2024 watch UA-cam videos on soul train 🚂 ❤
Worked w him in studio recording session before. What folks dont know is Scorpio has an amazing voice!! 🎤💥💥💥💯🤔 So it's interesting that he has just never been that known for it. Super talent!!
He also had a beauty shop in Inglewood California he used to do my hair he used to walk in there like he was actually Michael Jackson😂😂 La Brea and centinela
TINA ... MARIE !!! You know, as time goes on the World is gonna REALLY really start to miss Tina more & more, i mean We already do, but as we ,as a people, keep hearing what came after .... It'll become CRYSTAL CLEAR, just how Special and Unique (there's nothing like HER) she IS.
I love that he gave The Scene love. When he hit the floor he showed he didn't hold back. A great dancer. It's sad that the dancers don't get some kind of pension for being on the show for over 15 years.
8:33, every R&B group, from the 60s, the 70s and the 80s, predicted of how the beats and the sounds of how R&B songs would sound like, for the near future. it's amazing. 🌎🎵📺🎧📻
Let me tell you something young man I was the lady with the dog yesterday that outfit that you had on you was looking good and I kept trying to get your attention and tell you you need to bring that fashion into the stores you and so many others are so trained taught us how to wear her hair how to match up our shoes with our clothes you guys brought us to life and I'm going to tell you something when I was when I saw you I don't know why but I was kind of shy because I'm older than you baby I'm 67 years old and to me you are a a star ⭐ All of you are soul train are stars in my eye because you brought those those those good old years to Life for Us you guys on Saturdays you gave us something to do without you we wouldn't have known how to dance we would have known how to dress I mean you guys had it going on and I know you so please give me another chance try to get a show back on TV so our kids can learn how to appreciate what we appreciate it when we were growing up God bless you and stay safe and that outfit again it was nice to me by just acknowledging me that that day and God bless you that's something I'm going to keep in my heart forever ever for the rest of my life 🕯️👀🌈🫶🏿✌🏿🙏🏿🤲🏿⭐
Scorpio gave a whole history lesson. King Fu theatre on channel 20 in Detroit was a big deal. Many respectable adults learned to be honorable and responsible as children by watching Kung Fu theatre. Peace and blessings.
I had forgotten all about him,but i definitely remember him now,he's very talented. Does anyone know the name of the male dancer towards the end of this clip? The one with the 2 long braids and the open silver shirt? I loved watching him dance too.

Bruce Lee was the Cha Cha Champion of Hong Kong. Bruce was an amazing dancer.
There is fun to be had out there ladies and gentlemen.
Aretha Franklin's father C.L Franklin was an Icon. He reinvented gospel preaching, singing, and was instrumental in the civil rights movement.

Nice
He's so cool 😎
Why did they re-upload this?
Yeah! What happened to all those good comments!? And the views? Oh well, he's still the bombay!
Asking the same question
The only thing I see different is that they removed the picture of Michael Jackson's son Blanket out of the video
@@zdoll12 because it had a photo that should not have been in the package, so it was removed and corrected. so we get on them good comments back
Anybody know the name of the dance he does at 7:15-7:16? We use to do it back in the day but I can’t remember the name for anything smh lol.
He was really popular with those moves. Love hearing about these people. We all wondered what happened to them in life.
I guess he hasn’t watched any of the other ST clips bc everyone says they were told the answer to the Scramble before it was taped.
Awwwww people were nice to each other in entertainment so nice
Most of them.
I had forgotten all about him,but i definitely remember him now,he's very talented. Does anyone know the name of the male dancer towards the end of this clip? The one with the 2 long braids and the open silver shirt? I loved watching him dance too.
