Wow, they look great, I cant believe they survive in your garage
These are actually super Hardy types... the purpurea when i google it is hardy to Z 3 or 4... and the taller ones are Z6 or 7... so they can freeze... and actually require a dormancy... if i trusted that my garden had no nutrient value i would plant them in the ground and not worry.... but since i'm growing them in pots i shelter them, just so they don't get the intense freeze thaw. as i divide them and have some to spare i think i'll experiment with leaving some outside in shady spots where the freeze thaw isn't so intense.
@@PlantzNThings so interesting. I have 1 pitcher plant which fried in my greenhouse in the summer, it's starting to recover now, I put it in pon and water it with tap water.🤪🤣. Hopefully it will tolerate the absolute abuse ot gets from me. 🤣🤣. You are so knowledgeable,.I love watching your videos.

Doesn’t the Miracle bro perlite has a fertilizer? I was told that both perlite and peat moss must be fertilizer-free.
Sir, Miracle-Gro perlite has fertilizer in it.

I had purple loosetrife and bullrush selfsow all over my bogplanter i had to completely rip it apart now my sarracenias are in the pond all year round they seem pretty happy
