- My kids 6v power wheels just wasn't enough. We go through doubling the voltage to 12v and also adding a lot more capacity for a longer drive.

Why not mod the wheels to include a motor drive on each wheel?
Easier to just add some more power with batteries. More motors would mean additional controllers and gearbox's.
@@SaltySRT That’s correct. The gear box and the motor come in one piece and they are inexpensive. For more torque to drive even on grass, lawn and uphill is to add two motors. Using one motor on the wheel and adding more battery power will wear down the gears faster.
Yeah at some point might add another motor, or go to something bigger. But seems to be holding up just fine over-volted.
