A great collection of shots, thank you. I didn't really mind the mind, just that it was the same piece each time. I chuckled when the last one was different. You use what you got. Great job.
Thanks for posting! It seems like a lot of people had trouble with that first combination that you showed in the video. Not saying I could do it better, it must have been pretty particular striding or something
There isn't money in this sport and not every horse can do this type of thing. These riders take time choosing which ones have the drive to do it and they retire them sound and happy because of all they've given them which is huge considering it takes a horse years to get to this level. Jumps are getting safer and horses are looked out for. Think what you want though because the people who know and respect this sport know that what you said is not anywhere near true.
Soo agree with you here! so many people say there in it for the money as they see the money but have no clue how much it costs to prepare and get the horse up to this level! They all have their backs checked and teeth and everything before so they won't be harming them! so respect the sport and hope to be on one of those courses myself in years to come!
I love the adage that says the best way to make a small fortune with horses is to start with a large one a quarter horse trainer said that to me and I'll never forget it lol
LOL. The other free music with my software is a mix of electronic dance, piano sonatas, bluegrass, New Orleans Jazz, hip hop, western swing, 50's exotica, and orchestral pop. Any suggestions? It must be royalty free or public domain.
Love that you always show the riders name and horse while they compete. Also, love that you post the placings at the end. So the question,,,,,, which I'm sure you won't answer. Did you go to photography school? Do you make a comfortable living doing this? Enough to pay your bills and have a retirement? Don't worry, I,m not going to do what you do for a living. Just would like some of the mystery of Buzzlebrown answered. Do you ride? Please tell us. Love your dog photos, I love seeing the people with their dogs at these events. Why not take the pooch, you both get exercise and fresh air. I don't like snobby horse people though. You get that at the big jumper events, where they sit in their tents getting served drinks and meals. I know a few rich snobby horse people. Most treat us middle class people like dirt and look down their noses at us. Most don't ride, most have someone riding for them,,,, the jumper people. Eventing people are more down to earth.
Music that has a good pace to it ,that would reflect the action on the screen. Something like the James Bond movie music (of John Barry) or any action movie type music that enhances the beauty of horses in action.
It's funny watching this because I board at the same place as James Alliston and I'm a working student so i know Parker personally.. got to groom him and tack him up yesterday=P quite an impressive horse
It bothers me too, but sometimes even the best made plans can change by circumstances beyond one's control, and this circumstance made me late for the afternoon rides.
I look forward to your Rolex footage every year..excellent quality! Thank you for posting!
Awesome as usual... made me feel like we were there again. Thank you so much and keep them going, please.

Really enjoy your videos! Thanks for posting!
Geez thanks! It's all so much fun!
Excellent footage you got! Really wanting to watch this year's but it's not broadcasting anywhere near me -.-
Try USEF TV if you have a broadband connection, they broadcasted it live, and lots of clips are still up I believe.
Wow! Amazing... It's always fun to watch your videos here on UA-cam. :D

There is money in show jumping
Awesome thank you
Thanks - yes 'mission impossible' type music would fit the scene.
Thanks

I can't believe you didn't show Meghan O'Donoghue :(((
moosenernie
I was looking for Meghan too. Have known her since she was a toddler and my daughter has been her working student for the last 3 years.
It bothers me too, but sometimes even the best made plans can change by circumstances beyond one's control, and this circumstance made me late for the afternoon rides.
I like how Caitlin Silliman looked like she used the least tack, and she rode an almost flawless ride. Her being a girl is just a bonus. ;)
You can now watch that 8 mm film on my other Rolex 2013 upload.
It was movie camera.
Love the video, but must you always use heavy metal music in the background ?
The first riders' movement was a bit behind the horse but other than that, awesome
mind the music...opps
Actually, I prefer it without the music. The slow-mo is a nice touch, just don't like the music!
