Memory card read error on the Lumix GH3 prevented video of WFP & Bay My Hero, and Sharon White & Wundermaske at the Head of the Lake. Not sure what happened, card was a Sandisk 32 MB with 96 MB/s write speed, and freshly formatted that morning.
It amazes me so much to see how powerful and beautiful these horses are, not to mention the balance and control that the riders posses.
The 2,000 teens were the best eventing days in my opinion. All the big dogs were just becoming big dogs, and they were hungry to get off the porch. Some fancy riding

I was there and got some shots as well. Crowd wasn't in my way that much. :) It depends on what part of the course you're at. Lake head is hard to video, but jumps 6-7d are pretty easy. :) Thanks for the video.

Cross country my butt. Cause you always find a big round bale with a hole in it when you're riding cross country. And a gigantic plaster of paris mallard, run into those all the time. And of course, those humungous logs nicely propped up right in front of a water hazard. What happened to the old days when to win a cross country event, you actually had to, um, cross country? This stuff is ludicrous. Glad I didn't waste my money going to Rio to see a glorified hunter course.
shilodance1st I agree. All the animal rights nuts have ruined everything. We used to fall off and get back on. Even fox hunting isnt the sport it once was. The jumps back in the 70s and 80s were brutal.
