That's a beautiful collection of bikes. I love Marin bikes, beautifully simple. How gnarly do you get on your gravel bike? I had to install a dropper post on my Marin Gestalt since I actively descend on techy trails
I guess it depends on where I am, I'll happily ride it on (some) MTB trails. I'm not too keen on droppers on gravel bikes but that's just my preference

My favs are the Marin gravel bike and the sweet, custom track frame. Would like to see a video where you compare/contrast the SRAM electronic group to the SRAM Red. Each must have pluses and minuses, right?

Hey Juliet, I ride a Marin Gestalt One (the red and gray one) : Aluminum Frame, Carbon fork, Sora 9 speed, FSA tempo 46/30 Crank, Tektro Disc Brakes, Mavic 650b Crossride Pro wheelset, Gravelking 650b x 1.9", Velo Orange Stem, Marin Flared Bars and tape, Ritchey WCS post, Selle San Marco Aero Saddle, Look Classic Keo Pedals.
Whats it good for? Well, its a no nonsense bike for riding anywhere with an emphasis on speed, agility and to a lesser extent comfort. Marin did some magic by specifying short 41.5cm chainstays that still have room for 650b x 2.0" tires and probably fenders (mud guards) too. Easy on the wallet 9 speed cassette, chain and rear derailleur are inexpensive to replace. For gearing I run a modified Sunrace cassette (12,14,15,16,18,21,24,28,32). I exchanged the stock 11 tooth for a 15 to fix the big annoying 14 to 16 gap. Easy to do for comfortable cadence on the flats. All up its 10.5kg or 22.5 pounds. Is she super sexy? no. Is she ready for anything and a bit naughty? oh yes.
Those Gestalts are meant to be really good, I've not tried one yet and no more room for new bikes now! Sounds like you have yours set up really nicely
