    I find my most effective fat burning exercise is "The Tiger Chase". You need a full grown and properly trained tiger & a few acres of land though.

      omegagilgamesh wouldn’t recommend a 220lbs over weight person to do any high impact workout. That would reck havoc on your joints. Instead I would suggest walking, elliptical, or biking until a good portion of the weight was off and muscle was built to help the joints function better.

      It's calories in and calories out. You can eat whatever you want, but your brain function and body will suffer. That's why diet is usually healthy because its nutrient dense, to help carry out the demanding tasks you do at the gym and daily tasks

      @Xavier. Disagree. If a person was consuming exactly 2500 kcal of nothing but soda and their TDEE was 2700-3000 Kcals, then they would lose mass. Of course there would be a myriad of other issues due to the poor macro and micronutrient profile of soda, but they would undoubtedly lose body mass.

    The Goblet Squat will definitely get you burning fat when you carry a heavy weight. My favorite is the farmers walk. Some people have this notion that cardio should be done separately from weight lifting but many weight lifting exercises actually incorporate cardio, ala killing two birds with one stone; Not only are you getting stronger, but also losing fat.

    Thank you for your video . With my all respect , but nothing is better than jumping rope and burpee . I am 37 and I can do between 7000 to 8000 counts in 50 to 57 minutes jumping, and in some other days I do 60 burpee in 6 minutes by doing 12 sets Tabata , I lost nearly about 40 kilos of my weight by jumping ropes , I was 117 and now I am 75 . I have been doing those since last December and got improved .
    Thanks again for your effort and goodluck.

    This is a little confusing. Is the fat loss measured by time spent on each exercise, or one rep, or what? Five minutes of a continuous burpee workout would surely burn more calories than five minutes of a farmer's walk.

    • @mbogucki1
      @mbogucki1 7 років тому +2

      I don't know if its has to do with "demanding" per say. Lots of exercises are demanding and few are hated as much as burpees. I think its the entire movement that is annoying to people. That is my guess anyways.

    For me, the main issue with these exercises is that they are too intensive to just burn fat. They will also tax the muscles and central nerve system. That is a problem for me because I usually do fat loss workouts/cardio on "rest" days, while my muscles recover from a previous strength workout.

    Probably best to engage these types of exercises for if you're not overweight because I for one think these are more for toning rather than losing, I've been doing burpees for the past week and I shed 15 pounds from that alone but everybody's body is not the same, so...

    I think to say these exercises 'burn more fat than burpees' is maybe a little inaccurate but food for thought. These are great exercises but the bottom line is is that there are so many variables when it comes to these exercises (resistance, pace, etc...) as there is with burpees (push ups, jump clap, repetitions etc...). In the end they're all good. Changing modalities constantly and eating cleanly is how to get and stay lean.

    One can not argue with the burpee and its many variations. However, as an older gentleman, alternatives to an exercise are always welcomed for those days when the ol'bod doesn't feel like moving like it used to. LOL

      If you mean jogging than no - it burns almost no fat at all. If you mean HIIT sprints then yes, you will burn tons of fat.

    • @jeffmejia3556
      @jeffmejia3556 4 роки тому

      I mean going out there with a purpose about what you’re doing. Everyday the run is to improve upon the next with the goal of dropping weight or burning fat. Not merely jogging looking around and admiring the birdies flying by.
      Like I noted tried it done it and lost weight I write this as I’m getting ready to tie my running shoes to go for a run.
