This band is the first I've found that has some pretty sad songs (this song, In the Waiting Line, etc), but listening to those songs actually makes me feel better. Such powerful & raw emotion, wrapped in such a warm beautiful soundscape. I connect deeply with so many of their songs, and its so cool to share that connection with so many people. It really is like a spontaneous family. Cheers to Zero 7 for this, and cheers to you all! ^_^
What a majestic composition of music and melodies , this voice is so harmonic ... If magic exist , it certainly lives inside these 3 minutes.Pure love to this band.
I have dreamed of big city living (Chicago) for years, and this song makes me daydream about driving at night in downtown. The sound of the song makes me think of culture, diversity and sophistication -- all the best qualities big cities possess.
it's the complete opposite for me this song is about the hardships of the city. this song is about learning oneself and urning another that can relate. also opiates and sleeping pills delerium. loosing all her own homes through addiction.
I just can't feel how this Video makes me feel. It's one of my very most listened to videos and songs in my playlists..It's to do with the Haungting voice and the excellent music from Zero7....Love It !
...A lovely, haunting piece of music, elegiac in its tone and tenor. I'd never heard of Zero 7 until a friend of mine put this piece on facebook; I liked it so much, I shared it with others...
The song that got me in to Zero7, which lead to Sia and her then website and from there to being invited to a Zero7 gig (by Sia herself) in Amsterdam, meeting Sia Furler and the guys from Zero7. (Btw, this is Tina Dico singing not Sia. The band had 3 female singers, Sia Furler, Tina Dico and Sophy Barker.)
One of my favourites. When I was playing this my 6 year old asked me to turn it off, it was making him feel too "sad" and emotional. I think that's testament to the depth of this song.
It is about The Fallen reaching The Absolute to reverse time. "Home" is The Origin, transcendent source from which The Fallen originated, the only place where they can feel home in this dark world.
After seeing many of my older single friends struggle as they desperately (not that they are desperate because they are very capable of doing like alone) seek a mate, someone to share your life with, facing it with someone else in the safety of each other's arms, that's what everyone wants at the end of the day. Someone to cuddle with at the end of a hard day.
Going on 3 years alone by myself and all it does is further chip away at any confidence I have left that I will find love again. Truly painful beyond comprehension.
I randomly thought of this song a few weeks ago and today, decided to find it. Its taken me almost an hour but it was worth it. Its such a good song!! This is the first time I've heard it in years. So glad I found it.
Heard this on a late night FM station while driving home and immediately connected. Could have sworn it was Joni Mitchell but just looked it up - great song!
Just heard this on Dutch T.V.! Totally awesome. Made me think of Joni Mitchell. Amazing voice. I just googled part of the lyrics and picked Zero 7 - bullseye! Never heard of them. Very nice surprise.
since i find this song ( they came for a show in Israel last Saturday) i simply can't stop listening it!! it is so touchy song, penetrate straight to your heart,,, amazing ( maybe it is also becoase of the lovely Tina Dico... not sure. simply butifull... and i don't care if it is Chillout, trip hop or whatever...
i realized after listening to zero 7, that earlier in their career, like their first two albums featured songs of a sad moods, and as they got bigger the songs became more happy... i love this bad with time it changes
I discovered this song about 4-5 years ago while listening to one of those cheezy sound channels that the cable company provides. I fell in love with this song and worked out most of it on my synth. I should put it to MIDI rather than just audio. Someday.
1. When did this band become so popular? Hipster sad rant. 2. The end of this music video is EPIC. And then you look back at the rest of the video... EPIC.
Inner Journey It's time for a change, and you can't fool yourself any longer. What you want to accomplish can be done, but you have to commit to it. Make room for it to happen. A little dedication is all that's needed to reach your goals.
She's very, very cool with Zero 7. This is a great song ya know it really is! When it falls is a great album to boot. It be cool to know her and play music with her, it'd be fun.
Goodness. This song has been amazing since it first existed. It was good then, it was good a while later, and it's good now. It doesn't matter who likes it or who doesnt and when. Just listen and smile.
When I hear this song I imagine driving across the city late at night, catching all greens and not another car in sight. The road is wet from a previous rainfall but the clouds are starting to break, and the moon is lighting the empty roadway and storefronts as the city sleeps.
I don't really agree with this being trip hop. I'd rather call it chillout with a hint of lounge. Not my intention to argue... just my 50 cents :) More importantly though; this is a beautiful piece of work. Their music always gets me in this relaxed, soothing mood. I'm thankful for artists like Zero 7.
Just because some "hipster" likes this song does not change anything about it. The song just is. You perception of the song is changed based on your beliefs and understanding. Its like the song is an empty cup you fill it with your perceptions adding onto the meaning of the song whatever comes to your mind. :}
September 2019 just heard this for the first time. Wondering why I never heard it before. As hurricane Dorian creeps up the coast I hear this Dorian mode melody tactfully woven into this song. Strange coincidence.
Imagine.....having a picture frame playing this video on a loop in your home. This would be amazing. All the lights reflecting off your walls (with the lights off). We have the technology now. Wish someone could make this available
Just sheer perfection! Like taking a shower in gold leaf - only to find Tina there in front of you too!? lol x wow, now THAT'S a dream worth having, eh chaps? :D
This song is what made me a fan of Zero7 and later made me a fan of Sia Furler (eventhough she doesn't sing in this song). One thing kinda led to another.

I'm glad to see other people appreciate this band and the beautiful, melodic, sound it brings to everyone's ears!!
I have dreamed of big city living (Chicago) for years, and this song makes me daydream about driving at night in downtown. The sound of the song makes me think of culture, diversity and sophistication -- all the best qualities big cities possess.
True indeed!!
it's the complete opposite for me this song is about the hardships of the city. this song is about learning oneself and urning another that can relate. also opiates and sleeping pills delerium. loosing all her own homes through addiction.
And the qualities a good song possesses. ^_______^
Until you get shot driving at night in downtown.
GOSH I LOVE that song !! Brings back really good memories.
Tina Dickow has a voice that is simply beautiful in a way most singers can only aspire to. Her control, pitch and shimmer is magical.
Such a beautiful voice, just wow...
Thank you musicians of Zero 7 and Sia Furler for so many deep and emotional moments in my / our life.
I just can't feel how this Video makes me feel. It's one of my very most listened to videos and songs in my playlists..It's to do with the Haungting voice and the excellent music from Zero7....Love It !
This song has a special place in my past....takes me right back to sophomore year of college. Best time of my life.
...A lovely, haunting piece of music, elegiac in its tone and tenor. I'd never heard of Zero 7 until a friend of mine put this piece on facebook; I liked it so much, I shared it with others...
This video is absolutely wonderful. Brilliant, brilliant concept.

I really love this song, it has melancholy qualities. a lonesome walk in the big city.
It is about The Fallen reaching The Absolute to reverse time. "Home" is The Origin, transcendent source from which The Fallen originated, the only place where they can feel home in this dark world.
i absolutely adore this song! it reminds me of late nites in nyc, walking home from the bar in the rain...
When It Falls, my second favorite Z7 album
After seeing many of my older single friends struggle as they desperately (not that they are desperate because they are very capable of doing like alone) seek a mate, someone to share your life with, facing it with someone else in the safety of each other's arms, that's what everyone wants at the end of the day. Stacey Kruger don't make me cry

"too late to wonder how..." Outstanding...Just outstanding...
Despite a lot of their tunes being quite sad, they are kind of life affirming at the same time! This is truely special.
Beautiful visual, beautiful and haunting song !
Massively under rated band.
Tina Dico on vocals
Their best track ever, imho; Tina's vocals totally do it for me.
I randomly thought of this song a few weeks ago and today, decided to find it. Its taken me almost an hour but it was worth it. Its such a good song!! This is the first time I've heard it in years. So glad I found it.
So soothing... I love their music and I especially love her vocals.
Haunting video.. my interpretation... the last moments of a person's life, the transformation into another dimension.
Tina Dico on lead vocals is transporting
Love this band forever and a day!
One of my fave tracks ♥️
Heard this on a late night FM station while driving home and immediately connected.

Absolutely beautiful. Definitely one of the best bands out there.
Brilliant as always Zero 7.
Love the harmonies and the trumpet solo!
Just heard this on Dutch T.V.! Totally awesome. Made me think of Joni Mitchell.

this song makes the pain of this pitiful life plausible.
perfect rainy day group

My favorite song by Zero 7. :)

Wow, what a beautiful voice.
crisp, clean & clear
When I hear this song I imagine driving across the city late at night, catching all greens and not another car in sight. The road is wet from a previous rainfall but the clouds are starting to break, and the moon is lighting the empty roadway and storefronts as the city sleeps.
I have no air inside of me without you, Valeri S!
This song get's me through every day....hopes and dreams

this song is still breathtaking
If I owned a Phantom, this would be the only kind of music that I would play in it. Truly high end music.
great song! i love this band!
I love SIA - she sang for them if I'm not mistaken... both are damn good, altho SIA solo is much more cheerful.
Beautiful
Just because some "hipster" likes this song does not change anything about it. The song just is. You perception of the song is changed based on your beliefs and understanding. Such a beautiful track. Kind of an underrated "band". Like a sweet secret.
Pushes you far away in space (dissonant) and then draws you back home on earth (resonant). Home by Zero 7.
I love this song!
Hard to choose a favourite from Zero 7, but this was definitely my first love.. They have a new track out!
I dare to say that this is a perfect song.
Such a cool video.
Love this.
this is one of the greatest pieces tina did
September 2019 just heard this for the first time. Wondering why I never heard it before. As hurricane Dorian creeps up the coast I hear this Dorian mode melody tactfully woven into this song. Strange coincidence.

Just sheer perfection! Like taking a shower in gold leaf - only to find Tina there in front of you too!? lol x wow, now THAT'S a dream worth having, eh chaps? :D
