I'm Russian and I don't understand many of the words in this song, but I feel every one of them. Zero 7 has been on my playlist for over 10 years and will never leave. My buddy that introduced me to this song back in '02 just passed away on 6/9/21. I'm heartbroken but grateful. It'll have an even bigger meaning to me now. Id go on to become a huge fan of Zero 7 and even more so, this genre (downtempo, electronic) of music, that was just emerging to me at that time. Rest easy Fred.

When this came out, graduating from high school, heading into college. Emotionally full of dreams, ambitions, and a whole new chapter in my life. Some of the ambitions and dreams came to fruition and other didn't, that's life and that's this song to me.

One of my favourite tracks of all time. I was introduced to this tune on a flight to Tenerife having had a break up with my girlfriend and travelling alone to a holiday. I had a great soul searching experience on that island for a week with Destiny as the soundtrack to my stay, never looked back since. It’s been my mantra to this day…

Tonight I triggered a memory of this song from another song by Zero 7, waiting in line, but didn’t know it was zero 7. I only recognized the voice. It had been 20 years (damn… it’s really been 20 years!) since I’d heard it. I’m so glad I found it again!
The nostalgia really gets to me especially towards the end of the song, with the flutters of the synths and beautiful melodies, I think it's because it's like the past is flying by through my conscience and through my memory and also the atmosphere, I find it very moving
