Hey Kevin, just out of interest, wouldn't''t it be easier to bulk record and edit and schedule over the course of 2 days? Or do you find doing it how you are currently more simplistic?
Logistically, yes. I would love to do this, but life keeps getting in the way of my plans. Also, the backlog comes with the editing, really, not the recording. I could just talk to the camera and do very little editing, but I've found I'm a slow talker when I'm deliberate, and I stumble over my words when I'm flow of consciousness. When I script my videos, that takes up additional hours and I also find using the teleprompter brings my energy down. I'm learning a lot in the process and trying to adapt to all the bumps. The video I put out today I thought would be nice and quick, but it ended up taking many more hours to edit than I planned for, so I wasn't even able to get to my studio to paint today, which was my primary goal for the day. It's a balancing act and there's always a plate that I need to run and spin somewhere.
@@StudioBuilder I can relate if I'm honest. There's been times when I have a primary objective for the day and I thought I can get a youtube vid done before I start my actual day. It actually takes over my whole day. Just like you, the editing side. I may take your current approach and see how I get on.
Dude…I’m glad you had TikTok success…but I’m really surprised at how poorly you’ve grown on YT, because it should have been easier for you, and I think in the part it would have been. I’m glad I found your channel even if I don’t completely agree with your takes…you make sound arguments with evidence, and that’s what matters most to me, not agreement. Keep on keeping on 👍🏻 you remind me of how glad I am that I stopped shooting weddings back in my 30s! They’re fun…but exhausting.
